Nanon's P.O.V:

I was playing a game on my phone when the door opened and Ohm walked in by himself.

I raised an eyebrow when I saw that no one was following him.

"Yes I came by myself I'm not going to get lost trying to find my way to the hospital if that's what you want to know" He said.

I nodded and continued playing.

He put three plastic bags on the bed in front of me.

"My parents are working your sister is at school and your friends from the music club went to classes" He said.

"Why aren't you in class then?" I asked.

"It's not your business I just came to give you these...Change of clothes food and toiletries I'm off now" He said then turned to leave.

I sighed heavily and put the phone aside.

"Why don't we just talk about it?" I asked.

"Fine...Let's talk" He said.

Then sat down on the chair next to the bed and folded his hands over his chest.

"What do you have to say for yourself? Go on I'm listening" He said.

I pursed my lips into a thin line and looked away.

"I'm sorry...You must be really angry" I said.

"Angry? Why should I? It's your life not mine...You can go to hell for all I care" He said.

"Oh come on Ohm...Can't you stop being angry at me already? It has been a month since you found out and..." I started.

"And a month of me feeling like shit for being such an idiot who ignored the signs although it was quite obvious...It set me off when you asked me to give you my meds but I ignored it because I didn't think you'd be like that...I felt bad for not listening to that tiny voice in my head...And then you fainted and I thought this was it...Do you have any idea how scary that was?" He asked.

I stayed silent.

He put his hands on my shoulders.

"You said that you wanted to be my friend but you were planning to die? How do you think I'd feel after that happens? Not just me your sister and your parents too" He said.

"I ALREADY SAID THAT I'M SORRY WHAT MORE SHOULD I SAY IN THE MATTER?" I snapped.

"IT'S NOT ENOUGH...YOUR APOLOGY ISN'T ENOUGH YOU HAVE TO DO A LOT MORE" He yelled angrily.

We fell silent after that and he started listening to music as I continued playing the game on my phone.

The doctor walked in and started doing the check ups then left.

I sighed heavily and ruffled my hair in frustration then stood up and walked over to Ohm and removed the earphones from his ears.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"Nothing" I said.

He reached out to take the earphones but I moved my hand away from his reach.

"Give me the earphones" He said through gritted teeth.

I shook my head.

"I won't" I said.

He sighed heavily and stood up then grabbed my wrist and pulled my hand closer to his other one and snatched his earphones.

"Fine...You were right are you happy now? You're back to how you were when we first met" I said.

"Do you think I'm some sort of a charity case or something? Did I ask you to help me? You just did everything on your own and I was stupid to think you were just trying to be my friend for real" He said.

"I was trying to be your friend for real" I insisted.

"Yeah right...So you get to know everything about me including my darkest secret and when I asked you about it you didn't say anything...Because you were planning on staying silent about it until you die eventually and leave behind your family...So nice of you" He said.

And I could finally get why he was angry.

"You weren't scared because I was about to die...You just didn't want to be alone again" I said.

Ohm's P.O.V:

I sighed heavily and nodded then brushed my hair back.

"Yes...I was scared because I didn't want to be alone again...Fine...Whatever...So what? Can't I be selfish too?" I asked.

It was part of the reason anyway so it wasn't a complete lie.

"This is pointless I'm going home" I said.

"You were right...We don't have anything in common after all" He said suddenly.

I turned back to him.

"You're so selfish" He said.

"What about you? Do you think you're an angel with wings or something?" I asked.

"I never said that I was an angel you just thought so yourself" He said.

I sat down again.

"What were you thinking? Why did you start taking these medicines?" I asked.

"I don't even remember...It was four years ago" He said.

"And if I don't forgive you I'll be an asshole right?" I asked glaring at him.

He didn't answer.

It made me even angrier.

"I did my part...I reported you for professional help" I said.

"What?" He asked looking at me wide eyed.

"I told my mother and she told your parents...Your mother is coming back to Thailand soon to sign you up for rehab" I said.

"Why the hell did you do that? DID I ASK YOU?" He snapped then grabbed my collar.

I pushed him back to the bed and stood up.

"Because you fucking need it...And I'd feel even more guilty if I don't do that" I said.

Then left the room.

Nanon's P.O.V:

This can't be happening...

No I can't believe it.

I paced the room back and forth trying to think of something to do.

He said that my parents already know and that my mother is coming back soon to sign me up in an institution.

I finally made a decision.

(Later that night)

Ohm's P.O.V:

I was in my room watching TV when the doorbell rang and I went downstairs to see who it was.

Nanon's mother.

I waied politely then my parents told me to sit down with them.

"Ummm...Thank you for taking care of my children until now...I really don't know what to say" She said.

I couldn't take it any longer because I really had to know the answer.

"Auntie...Four years ago when Ai Non started taking painkillers...What happened? Why did he start taking them?" I asked.

"Nong Ohm this isn't the right time...She just arrived" My mother said in a low voice so that only I can hear.

After all I lied to Nanon...

My mother never told his mother anything.

So I have to know everything first.

"But how did you..." Nanon's mother started.

"He relapsed mum...P'Non is at the hospital right now" Nanon's sister said.

Nanon's mother looked at the floor then sighed heavily.

"Four years ago..." She started.

In the middle of her explanation my father received a call so he stood up and went to get it.

"What? How can that happen?" My father asked.

He sounded stressed and angry so I stood up and went over to him to see what was going on.

"What happened dear?" My mother asked.

"Alright alright...We'll do our best" My father continued then hung up.

"What happened dad?" I asked.

"Nong Non ran away from the hospital" My father said.

They started talking about how to find him.

"I'll call the police" My father said.

Then they continued talking.

I grabbed my jacket and the car keys then walked out of the house unnoticed.

I went to his house first but didn't find him there.

Damn it where could he have gone?

I started thinking of other places but I didn't know much.

So I decided to check the college campus.

Maybe he's in the music room or something.

It was getting late anyway maybe he went there thinking that no one would look for him there because it's supposed to be locked right now.

I went to the car and drove to college hurriedly I ran into the music club room as soon as I parked the car.

And yes as I guessed he was there.

"What are you doing here? Let's go back" I said.

Nanon shook his head.

"Do I have to drag you there myself?" I asked angrily.

"I don't need your help go away" He said.

"You should just go back to the hospital stop making it hard for everyone" I said.

"You don't understand anything so stop pretending that you care" He said.

Then pushed me away.

I grabbed his arm and started walking out of the music club room while dragging him behind me.

"Let go of me" He said then pushed me off.

I stood up hurriedly and ran after him.

We left the college campus and continued running through the street.

Then I saw a blinding light...

Nanon's P.O.V:

I pushed him off me then took off running before he could grab my arm again.

"WAIT" He yelled as he ran after me.

I didn't stop running though and he didn't stop either.

"AI NON STOP" He yelled after me.

I don't need your help just go away if you think I'm that much of a handful.

My legs were starting to hurt from the running because I was still sick.

Then I heard the loud sound of a car screeching and my eyes widened as I finally stopped running.

I turned around shocked by the sight in front of me.

That's when I realised that I was in the middle of the crossroad.

And that the car that was screeching earlier...

Now came to a stop but it was too late.

Ohm was laying in the middle of the road covered in blood...

"AI OHM" I yelled in panic.
