They walk to Magnus's house, Magnus explaining what had happened (Minus the Shadow business) to his new mundane friend. This was what he needed. Someone to talk to. Raj turns around and smiles. "It must be hard. The whole...er... incident." Magnus nodded and looked down. Suddenly, Magnus's phone rang. Isabelle. He picked up the call. "Isabelle please-"

"Magnus. It's a misunderstanding. It's not his fault he would never do that to you. Charles forced him." Magnus stops in his tracks. "What? How? Wait? I'm coming over." Magnus said firmly. "Magnus don't worry. Alec is with me now but he's in a bit of a shock." Magnus bit his lip. "Can I talk to him please?"

Magnus almost begged, realizing that this was the second time he had screwed up today. "I made him take a shower to calm him down. I'll call you as soon as he gets out ok?" Magnus held his breath. "Yes. I'm coming to the institute, I'll see if I can catch a cab and Isabelle." Magnus paused. "Keep an eye on him. I...I don't know what I'd do if he." Isabelle interrupted.

"You have my word, Magnus." Magnus hung up as worry shone through his face. "Who was that?" Raj asked. Magnus looked at him. "Isabelle. She's er. Alec's sister. I need to get back to Alec." Raj nods. "I guess I'll see you around Magnus." Raj smiled as he slips a piece of paper into Magnus's hands.

"My number." Magnus looked at him suspiciously. Raj laughs. "As a friend Magnus. Jeez. Call me once you get back to your Prince." He throws his hands up in the air and smiles. "Bye now!" Raj says as he walks away. Magnus chuckles as he walked over and tried to call a cab. It was pretty late at night, and Magnus couldn't keep waiting. He started walking towards the institute. About 10 minutes into the walk, he got a call from Isabelle.
