"Alexander. Drew tells me that Charles is making harsh, unfair punishments."

"I don't know! And honestly, I don't care. If you're here to talk like you're my boyfriend, then tell me what's going on with you first before worrying about Drew." Alec's tone shifted as his voice became soft. "Please. I'm worried about you." Magnus stood up and nodded. "I need some time to figure things out Alec."

"Magnus we can figure it out together."

"I'm going back to the loft. My work here is done." Magnus sighed as he stepped back. Alec closed his eyes. "You're not going to tell me huh. I bet you told Drew. Seems like you two are quite the pair." Alec laughed bitterly. "Alec, what the hell are you saying?" Magnus closed his eyes. They both were silent for a bit.

"So. Does he know why you're acting weird?" Alec asked hesitantly. Magnus to open his mouth when the alarm blasted. Magnus looked over at Alec's worried face. He looked down at the computer. "Crap! It's the Circle." Alec grabbed his stele.

"I thought you secured the wards!" Alec looked at Magnus angrily. Magnus cursed in his mind. How the hell can he secure the wards without magic? "I forgot." He croaked. Alec looked like he just got slapped. "I don't even know you anymore." Alec whispered, stepping back from Magnus.
