Magnus and Alec walked silently to the office. "You're insane Magnus." Alec muttered. Magnus smiled grimly. "Alexander. I had no choice. You saw how sad Clary and Jace looked." Alec scoffed. "So that's it? You see their puppy eyes and decide to throw yourself in a mission?"

"Alexander, I'll be fine. Besides, it's not like I'm going to be there alone." Magnus kissed his cheek. Alec smiled. "Yeah. I'll be there with Jace and Clary." Alec stopped before they entered the room. "If at any point, you feel like the plan is going haywire." Magnus laughed and nodded. "I immediately order a beer and you'll come and save me."

Magnus grinned, finishing Alec's sentence. "Yes." Alec kissed Magnus one last time before they headed out. The pandemonium was a perfect place to catch Drew in action. Alec and Magnus were going to go there in 10 minutes. Magnus stepped outside, and Alec's mouth dropped.
