Julian Edelman's documentary shines light on road back after injury, relationship with his father

With most of America working from home due to what we're going through as a country right now, we want to provide you with options to stay up to date with sports content that we believe is worth watching.

You don't have to be a Patriots fan to know what a workhorse Julian Edelman is whether it be training or on the field, Edelman is always going at 100 percent with his craft.

Narrated by some of the best including Tom Brady, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Rapaport they look back on a young Julian Edelman through his childhood and his sometimes tumultuous relationship with his Dad. 

Being a 5'10 receiver was always tough and needed hard work if he was going to make it to the NFL. This is more about hard work, determination, and never giving up than it is about Julian Edelman.

This documentary follows Jules as he goes through injury and his four-game suspension in 2018, it shows you the work that he puts in every day to get back to his old self while going through these trials and tribulations of injury and suspension.

dominique Hiiiii how's everyone doing ? What r your favorite shoes to watch on Netflix ? I watched three episodes of @goop labs - super interesting for anyone looking for something to watch! Also @TheSinnerUSA is awesome! Also I'm almost done editing a vlog! And plan on filming this weekend again too. I had to cancel my trip to Florida today. I was supposed to leave 6 am tomorrow 😩 but safety first❤️ hope you all are staying safe. Sending so much love & light 💫

Julian Edelman hints he wants to join Tom Brady on Buccaneers

Julian Edelman following Tom Brady to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wouldn't be the craziest thing to happen in 2020.

Edelman carries a dead-cap hit of $7.16 million and is under contract through 2021. But Edelman appeared to be endorsing the idea when he liked a tweet from NFL Hall-of-Famer Deion Sanders that suggested the talented wide receiver should go to Tampa as well.

"If @TomBrady goes to the @Buccaneers can @Edelman11 go to?" the CBS and NFL Network analyst wrote. "That's like Jordan without @ScottiePippen, peanut butter without jelly and Ice Tea without Sugar. #Truth"

The Patriots' future at quarterback is unclear and they still lack skill-position weapons for whomever takes over for Brady, who is reportedly enticing big stars to Tampa.

Edelman, 33, had publicly lobbied for Brady to stay in New England when he tweeted a photoshopped picture of his face on the head of Lloyd Dobler (John Cusack) in the famous boombox scene from "Say Anything."

The 11-year Patriot, who came to New England in Brady's ninth season, also posted a Whitney Houston tribute video to thank the 42-year-old Brady when he announced his departure from the organization.

"Do you really want to go to Tampa Bay with Tom or are you just trolling?" I asked Julian as I watch him set up the crib in the nursery.

"A little bit of both." Julian answered.

"But if you were serious...would you tell me?" I asked.

"Of course, if they approach me then we discuss it." He replied.

"Good, anyway I got a call from an Shaunie O'Neal about doing a reality show about our lives or something similar to Basketball Wives...a reboot of Football Wives." I said as I fold a blanket.

"Are you serious? We're already appearing on your sisters' show. I don't think I can handle anymore cameras being around." Julian said.

"I told her that I wasn't interested but I could join her as an executive producer for whatever she has planned." I said.

"I guess but I heard she's very messy so be careful with her." Julian said.

"I mean she should know I'm not the one since I already beat up her co-worker." I said.

Julian smirked.

"I remember that." He said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Would you really fight her?" He asked.

"If she brings to that point then I will but I'll probably walk away before I get to that point." I answered.

"Did you hear that you're now being called the First Lady of the Patriots?" He asked, chuckling.

"What? No way." I answered.
