"You're blushing again," Jasmin crooned in Jacob's ear, only furthering his irritation. "My poor husband is so gay he doesn't know what to do with himself."

Alex dragged a hand up his arms to feel his muscles again and grinned when he flexed just for him. "You almost make me jealous of how much you feel all the time."

Alex was giving him goosebumps on top of everything. Jasmin's soft lips and that teasing tone was driving him wild. His blood didn't know where it wanted to go. "Stop it. You're making it worse," He grumbled.

Steven grinned at Jacob and set his heart a flutter. How could someone so kind and handsome be in love with him so obviously? Steven blushed too and dropped his eyes. "You should go over there and kiss his cheek. You might be pleasantly surprised to know he's thinking about you very loudly."

Jacob raised a brow. "How do you know?"

"Psychic ghost powers," He confirmed with a bashful shrug. "They're getting stronger sometimes."

So he sighed and stood, legs shaky for no reason at all. He shouldn't be this nervous but the ridiculous and massive feeling of complete adoration wouldn't leave him and it never did. He never got a break from how deeply he loved these people, from how deeply he loved his first male crush.

Adam had come outside to sit on the grass and watch nature happen around him. After around 20 minutes, Connie had put on her mom voice and insisted they go out and sit on the porch. "He needs space to enjoy himself as a lone wolf, but our presence will be welcome." She was starting to understand Adam, they were all starting to understand each other personally, so they had piled out.

Jacob sat next to Adam without saying anything. It took him five entire minutes to gather the courage to lean over and kiss his cheek.

He didn't respond for a second, but his eyes widened. Then he leaned forward with a hand over his heart and blushed so hard he hunched over further with how faint he got. "Fuck."

The British man motioned the rest to join them and Adam rested his head on Jacob's shoulder. "You okay, Mine?"

He nodded weakly. "I feel so much better."

Sometimes, it was that simple.
