"Okay! First, attach your Burst onto the launcher!" Coral swam around them, checking. 

Bubble squeaked with excitement. She hung her Burst onto the launcher. Spike did the same. I'll make you stamina mode. 

"Now, pull the string with all your strength! Remember, the Bursts will fight, and you will have to summon their power! Let's see who will win!" Coral shouted across the huge room. "You have to yell 'Let It Rage' while pulling the string!"

"Three...... Two...... One...... LET IT RAGE!!!!" Bubble roared. She and Spike yanked on the string hard and sent their Bursts flying into the stadium. 

Deep Diver clashed hard against Barracuda, and both of them were hit away. Bubble swam high into the air and shot towards the stadium, shouting, "DIVING LOOP!" Deep Diver flew into the air and slammed into Barracuda. Barracuda was sent flying but still managed to land in the stadium. 

"SPEED SMASH!" Spike hollered. Barracuda charged at Deep Diver, preparing to ram him. 

Deep Diver was pinning the huge fish to the wall in the Spirit World and scratching him was thorn-sharp claws. 

Barracuda wriggled free and slammed into Deep Diver. 

Deep Diver grit his teeth and flew high into the air. DIVING LOOP! Deep Diver heard his owner's yell. Deep Diver flew higher and nose-dived at the fish with high speed. He sent Barracuda flying while he took off to the sky again. 

"You won't get me that easily!" Barracuda hissed. Barracuda zipped through the air, and Deep Diver grunted as he slammed the wall. But he did not give up. 

Deep Diver is once again nose-dived towards the flopping fish. While he was diving, he heard Bubble's voice. MODE CHANGE-ATTACK! Deep Diver roared, and his blunt tail turned sharp. TRIPLE ATTACK! Deep Diver slashed Barracuda. while stabbing him with his sharp tail, then he sent Barracuda flying in the air with his nose-dive. 

"AHHHHHHHH-"Barracuda's shriek was cut off as he disappeared. 

"I won with my owner!!"Deep Diver cheered. 
 

Bubble hissed as Deep Diver skidded on the stadium wall after being hit with the Speed Smash delivered from Barracuda. 

Deep Diver suddenly flew up and was preparing to ram into Barracuda again. Bubble had an idea. If he was attacking, then she should change him to attack mode! That was the mode for attacking! "MODE CHANGE-ATTACK!"Bubble roared. "TRIPLE ATTACK!" That would mean Deep Diver would unleash three attacks: Swipe, Stab and Dive. 

"Dodge that!" Spike screeched at Barracuda. But, it was too late. Deep Diver zipped into Barracuda,  Barracuda flew out of the stadium, and before it touched the ground, it burst. "What......?!?" Spike gasped. 

"Way to go, Deep Diver!" Bubble cheered. "You rock!!!"

Spike was breathing heavily. Bubble felt shivers running down her back. Would he break up with her? But, Spike looked up with a gleam in his eyes, and shouted, "That was an awesome battle! I and Barracuda will be getting stronger! So prepare yourself!" Saying that he held up his broken Burst and shook Bubble's flipper.

"Ye!" Bubble grinned. "Let's battle again someday!"

"Okay, class!" Coral called over the cries of the battling dolphins. "Whoever wins this round will get the official 'Battle Worthy' badge! Now, we shall find new partners to fight! Choose another partner!"

Bubble clutched Deep Diver and wandered around the classroom. 

"Hey! Wanna be partners?" A handsome dark-blue dolphin swam in front of her. "My name is Tide, and this is my awesome Burst, Moon Raiser!" he held up a Burst made out of Deep Rock, the darkest rock in the whole oceans and seas, and had a carving of a dolphin warrior on it. 

"Sure, Tide! My name is Bubble, and this is my Burst, Deep Diver!" Bubble clicked. 

The two young dolphins swam to another stadium and took the launchers. "LET IT RAGE!!!" Bubble and Tide roared at the same time. Bubble pulled on the string hard, and Deep Diver flew into the water above them. Deep Diver plunged and rammed face-first with Moon Raiser. 

"Die!" The huge dolphin warrior threw Deep Diver to one side, and he collapsed on the wall. Moon Raiser lunged at him, spears raised, ready to strike at the Chinese dragon. 

"Don't think that the battle is over yet!" Deep Diver hissed as he ducked the blow. He quickly swiped his tail across the spear, and it was whisked away. 

"My spear!" Moon Raiser yelped, jumping to his tail and racing after his spear. 

Deep Diver! Use Sun Smash! Crush Moon Raiser to bits! Bubble's voice rang in his head. "Yes, Bubble!" He shouted, then charged at the distracted Dolphin Warrior. As he neared, he lowered his head and his horns turned bigger. He rammed into Moon Raiser's side, and the Warrior stumbled away. He managed to grab his sword, and then faced Deep Diver once again. 

"GET OUT OF HERE!"Moon Raiser sliced at Deep Diver's body, and then everything went black. 

"What......?" Bubble gasped as Deep Diver was knocked out of the stadium right in front of her eyes.  Her heart sank as she picked Deep Diver up again. 

"I get one point, and you still have zero," Tide announced, sticking his snout in the air. "Is this what you all got? I'm going to win this!"

"Deep Diver can go stronger! He hasn't used his special ability yet!" Bubble hissed. She wanted to win! She wanted to get the 'Battle Worthy' badge!

"LET IT RAGE!!!!!" Bubble shrieked, yanking so hard at the string that she thought her flipper had a cramp. Ow!  "COME ON, DEEP DIVER! I KNOW THAT YOU CAN DO IT!"

"We meet again." Moon Raiser appeared from the Spirit World mist. "I'm going to win this!" he raised his spear.

"No, you're not winning again! I haven't used my ability yet!" Deep Diver yelled as he grabbed the spear and yanked it away from Moon Raiser. That's it! I can make him vulnerable by taking his spear away! He thought triumphantly. 

COME ON, DEEP DIVER! USE DIVING LOOOOOOP!!!!" Bubble screamed in his head. Deep Diver flew high into the air, satisfaction spreading throughout him as he looked down at Moon Raiser's feared expression. "THIS TIME, YOU DIEEEEE!!!!!" Deep Diver zipped down at lightning speed, holding the spear in front of him, and struck Moon Raiser. 

"AHHHHH!!" Agony filled Moon Raiser's cry, and he writhed on the ground. 

"TIME TO END THIS!" Deep Diver screamed, and he nose-dived into the struggling body. 

Bubble cheered as Deep Diver rammed into Moon Raiser and Moon Raiser burst. "I told you I would win!" Bubble winked at Tide, whose eyes were round with shock and his jaw was hung open as he gazed at his burst Burst. 

"Who won here?" Coral asked as she swam over. 

"Bubble won." Tide nodded at Bubble.

"Well, here then! Here's the 'Battle Worthy' badge!" Coral smiled as she pinned the badge on Bubble's scarf. "You can also have one because you won the first round before Bubble." Coral also pinned the badge on Tide, 

"I did it," Bubble whispered to Deep Diver, "I got the 'Battle Worthy badge!"
