The two Bursts ran at each other at terrific speed. 

Bubble roared, "ABYSS BREAK!!!" 

Sunrise's eyes glinted. "RISING CORONA!!!"

The two Bursts attacked each other with short, sharp blows. The more Diver hit Dragon, the more energy Bubble felt. The battle didn't even end after 5 minutes. Bubble decided to do something. "ABYSS DIVE!!"

Sunrise seemed to guess what she was trying to do. "LIGHT LOOP!!"

Diver lit up with a violent blue light and left a light blue track in its wake. 

Dragon emitted out many orange rays and left a red trail in its wake.

CHING!!!! The air sounded of metal as the two Bursts clashed at one another, overlapping the other sounds of battle. Every dolphin turned around to watch the two Bursts as the stadium lit up with light. The weird thing was, that only the two Bursts had coloured trails!

"Ooh! They unlocked the Trail skill, which only unlocks if the Burst and the Burster join together as one!!" the dolphin gasped into the microphone. 

When the light ended, both of them were still spinning. 

Bubble's heart quickened, and she screamed into the water, "ABYSS GEYSER!!!!!!" she felt blue flames rising out from her, enveloping her like a warm blanket. She lashed her tail.

"SUN BLAST!!!!!!!!" Sunrise was not giving up. Red flames rose out from her body and her flippers' tips, which made them red. She punched out one flipper. 

"THIS IS AMAZING! THIS IS THEIR RESONANCE FORM! THIS IS MEANS THAT THEIR BOND WITH THEIR BURST IS VERY STRONG!!!" the dolphin shouted into the microphone. 

The dolphins left their stadiums and crowded around Bubble's and Sunrise's stadium and watched, their eyes wide with interest. 

Diver's blades suddenly got sharper, and his tip grew red with heat. 

Dragon's blades grew paler, and they expanded a bit. 

CHING!!!!!!!! The two Bursts clashed at one another. CHING! CHING CHING CHING!!!! The Bursts kept on attacking one another. CLASH CLASH CLASH CLASH!!!!!

Bubble used her full energy,,, dived to the ground,,, and slammed her sweaty flipper onto the sandy ground. "ABYSS SWORD!!!!!!!!"

Sunrise yelled, "SUN'S FURY!!!!!!"

The air filled with light, and the loud clang filled their ears. All the dolphins gasped and covered their eyes, and currents rushed everywhere. 

Bubble did not let the currents extinguish her flame. She screamed louder than before, her flames reaching higher, higher and higher to the surface to the sea. "DIVER!!! HOLD ON!!!!!"

"DRAGON!!!! RIP DIVER'S THROAT OUT!!!!" Sunrise shouted. 

The currents stopped. The light dimmed. Every dolphin turned his or her head to look at the battered stadium. 

There was no movement in the stadium. There were two Bursts, and they had burst. At the same time. Bubble gasped. Sun growled. 

"Wow! What an ending to this epic match!!! We shall now put these two in the first and second Legendary Rank! Bubble and Sun are in the same place, which is the first place in the entire team! Congratulations!!"

Bubble gasped for breath, and her flame went down. She swam over to Sun and shook his flipper. "It was nice battling you!" she puffed. "If I hadn't battled you, I wouldn't have unlocked that skill!" 

"Yeah! Me too!" Sun cracked a grin. 

Bubble swam to the stadium and reached out her flippers to grab Steep Diver's parts. She realized something. The tips of her flippers were dark blue. She glanced at Sunrise. She was also staring at her flippers, but the tips were orange. 

"Hey! That was a good battle!" the other dolphins whooped. 

"Thanks!" Bubble smiled.

Bubble swam home. She opened the door. Spike was busily reading a book. "I'm back! I did it!"

Spike looked up, his eyes widening when he saw Bubble's flippers and dorsal fin. "You did it!!!"

"Yes! I couldn't have done it with Sunrise! Battling him made both of us first place in the team!"

"You must be tired! Eat a sardine!" Spike hurried to get a sardine. 

"We still have a meeting tomorrow to prepare for the Championships." Bubble told him. 

"Alright! You can have whatever food you want for unlocking that skill!"

"DL Luna will win the Championships!!!" Bubble yelled as she dug in. 

"I believe in you, Bubble, I really do!"
