└NINETEEN┘

"No." Taehyung let out, a shudder in his voice. "I'm not- I'm not going to do that."

A smile etched across the face of the man seated in front of him, dark eyes laced with a fear Taehyung thought he got rid of.

"Oh.. that's quite funny- you think you have a choice?" The man spoke, voice deep, making Taehyung's skin crawl. "After everything you did. Ruining everything I had. For- for who? For my stupid- brainless faggot son- who you quite conveniently sent off to another country, didn't you?"

Taehyung gulped. "Dokeun- he didn't want to be here. He left be-because he wanted to-"

"He left because he thought you were dead!" Dokeun shouted, and Taehyung cowered his head. "Don't act smart with me, Kim. The fact that you're standing here alive when all my men could've killed you instantly. You want them to do to you what those Wangs did to my son?"

Taehyung's eyes glistened and he looked up at him, face frail. "No sir." Taehyung whispered, and Dokeun snickered.

"Good. Then you're going to do as I told you, understood?" Dokeun spoke sharply, and Taehyung looked up at him.

"When- when will I be out?" Taehyung asked, and Dokeun shrugged. "6 months. A year. Two years. Whenever I feel like it."

"Please, sir- I don't want to stay here for long-"

"Then shut your mouth and do as I say." Dokeun growled, and Taehyung nodded his head, and then gulped.

"What- what about Namjoon?"

"He'll be fine."

"Won't this increase his sentence? Couldn't he get out of jail with you?" Taehyung asked, and Dokeun chuckled.

"Oh, you naive young men. You think I don't know that he took over while I was gone? You think I'll let someone like him roam around with the knowledge he's acquired, with everything he knows? Oh no- his sentence will be prolonged till I die." Dokeun spoke with no remorse in his words, and Taehyung's eyes fogged.

"Of course. Nothing less expected from you." Taehyung mumbled to himself, and Dokeun laughed, as if agreeing.

And then Dokeun got up, gave Taehyung a hard slap on the back and headed for the door. "My men will be watching  your every move in prison, so don't even think of snitching or trying to escape, got it?"

Taehyung looked straight ahead. "Yes sir."

And then Dokeun walked out, and his men, otherwise two prison guards who worked for him, walked up to Taehyung and pulled him up from his chair, pulling him out of the room.

And then he was pushed into a prison cell, dressed in orange clothes that seemed unfamiliar, grey hair falling on his eyes, tangled and unbrushed, falling onto a hard bed.

To protect him. To make sure he was safe. To make sure he was out in the world without a scratch on his body. For the only boy he ever loved, ever will love. For Jungkook.

All for Jungkook, he thought. All of it for Jungkook.

They reached Busan in the morning.

Jungkook was staring out the window with his eyes wide, lips in an 'o' shape, nose pressed against the window glass.

Taehyung looked at him with slight wonder. He leaned in a little, and then tapped on his shoulder. "Hey." Taehyung whispered, and Jungkook looked at him with wide eyes.

"Tae look we're here!" Jungkook said aloud, and Taehyung gulped, gripping his thigh. "You're really loud, Dollie. Other passengers are looking at you. We don't wanna attract attention, just try and be a little nonchalant, yeah?"

Jungkook blushed, and then nodded hurriedly, turning to face ahead. Taehyung watched him turn his tiny hands into balls beside him, looking at the seat in front of him, biting down on his lip.

Taehyung sighed. "What?"

"We're here!!" Jungkook squeaked in a whisper this time, smiling big. "I'm so happy! I missed my country." Jungkook whispered, and Taehyung chuckled. "Same."

"Flight will land in 10 minutes. Please fasten your seatbelts."

Jungkook looked at Taehyung, who was listening to music, laying his head to the seat. Jungkook leaned toward him, poking his shoulder. Taehyung turned to look at him.

"Hey.. are you still mad at me?" Jungkook whispered, and Taehyung looked at him for a few seconds.

"Do you think I'm mad at you?" Taehyung asked, and Jungkook picked on Taehyung's jacket sleeve.

"Yes." Jungkook mumbled with a pout. Taehyung smiled a little, couldn't help it. "And why's that?"

"Because I-I upset you.. by leading you on." Jungkook said, and Taehyung chuckled.

"You didn't lead me on, baby. It's okay. It was foolish of me to presume you'd be willing to court so soon after enduring a parting." Taehyung whispered, and Jungkook giggled, hitting his chest.

"You with your fancy shmancy words. Shut it!" Jungkook said, and then wrapped his arm around Taehyung's and lay his head on his shoulder.

"Tae.. w-why do you want to be with me anyway? It's been so long. You thought about me all this time?" Jungkook asked.

"The fact that I could think about anything else... surprised me." Taehyung said honestly, and Jungkook looked at him in confusion, tilting his head.

"Why would you think about me? I'm not even special.." Jungkook said, letting out a nervous giggle, and Taehyung almost screamed.

"You're not spe- you're not special??? Who the fuck's been lying to you?" Taehyung snapped in a whispered, and Jungkook got a smile on his face, poking his arm.

"You're literally the most beautiful boy in the world. Scratch that- beautiful person in the world. Scratch that- most beautiful person in the universe-"

"Stop!!" Jungkook squealed, giggling. "I'm like a solid 8 out of 10, Taehyungie. Don't hype me up too much- it'll go to my head."

"It better go to your head, princess-" Taehyung started with a smirk, and then it vanished in an instant.

"I prefer dollie." Jungkook whispered, and Taehyung grinned. "Dollie it is."

The plane landed, and they all filed out of the airplane and out the airport in under 30 minutes. Jungkook smiled at leaving the airport and spun around wildly. The person who came to pick them up from the airport (in a minivan) was... some dude Jungkook had never seen before.

"Sup fuckers. Let's roll."

"Nice to see you too Bambam." Taehyung said, and then sat in the front with him, giving him a shoulder hug. Bambam smiled back.

Jungkook sat in the very back, sitting with Jimin, while Yoongi and Jin sat in front of them. Jimin talked about dolphins the whole time. Jungkook didn't know how to respond or further add onto that conversation so he stayed silent.

Jungkook frowned when they pulled into an unfamiliar street, seeing broken houses and empty malls. "W-where are we?" Jungkook asked, and Jin turned around and gave him a smile.

"New house, Kookie."

They reached the new house, which was beige and.. different to what Jungkook expected. Looked like one of those spanish villas.

They piled out of the car, and Bambam zoomed off. Before Taehyung could walk with the rest of the guys, Jin grabbed him.

"What do you think you're doing?" Jin snapped lowly, and Taehyung looked confused.

"Walking...."

"No- I mean in the plane. I saw that, you flirting with Jungkook." Jin said, and Taehyung snickered. "We weren't-"

"I think I know what you were doing, Kim. I would hope you know better than to force a vulnerable and naive boy who just got out of a 3 year relationship with a fiancee to make a decision affecting you?" Jin said, and Taehyung paused.

He looked at Jin with hesitance, and Jin scoffed. "You're the last thing he needs right now, and you know that. Let him be alone for some time, and if he wants to come to you he will. Don't force it."

"I'm not forcing anything, he wanted to-"

"He doesn't know any better, Taehyung. He'd fall into anyone's arms if they were willing to give him a bit of love and you know that. You're mature and smart, I know that. Make the right decision for once." Jin said, and then walked off to the house.

Taehyung took a deep breath. "Jin," Taehyung called, and Jin turned around. "You don't have to worry about it. I don't think he wants me anyway." Taehyung said with a small smile, and then pushed past him and walked into the house. "No one does." Taehyung mumbled to himself after.

Jungkook was inside the house, looking at the living room and kitchen with huge eyes. "Woah! How did you get all this?"

"One of Jackson's estates. Gave it to us. Previous owner.. died." Taehyung said, and Jungkook looked at him.

"Died?"

"Got shot. By me. Moving on," Jin said, and Jungkook pouted.

"You guys need to stop killing people.. and this whole mafia thing.. it's not good. You all have to stop all that." Jungkook said to the boys, who looked at him in confusion.

"Like look at Yoongi and Jimin- they ran a flower shop for 2 years, look how happy they were-"

Jimin laughed. Yoongi wheezed. "Ha! No one told you? Baby, it's not an actual flower shop. I mean it is, but like, we got all our profits from selling cocaine on the side. Not fuckin' tulips." Yoongi said, and Jimin laughed too.

Jungkook opened his mouth to say something, and then closed it, looking at Taehyung. "You won't hurt anyone, will you?" Jungkook asked, and Taehyung gave him a small smile.

"Not unless they hurt you." Taehyung said, and Jungkook huffed, continuing to look around.

Jin walked over to Taehyung, and so did Yoongi and Jimin, while Jungkook went to the dining room to look at it. "How exactly are we planning to tell him we're trying to create a gang of our own?"

"He won't realise."

"He won't realise if we go around trying to take down the biggest mafia in Busan which his father happens to be in?"

"Not if we're discreet about it."

"How the fuck are we gonna be discreet about killing people-"

"What are you guys whispering about?"

"Shut up Namjoon. Anyways- maybe we should tell him later when-"

Everyone froze. Jin turned with wide eyes, and then saw a tanned silver haired man wearing a black shirt and jeans, a small confused smile on his face. Namjoon.

"Joon-" Jin let out softly, and Yoongi grinned wide, seeing Namjoon standing there. He looked different, aged, you could say. Not by features but by his stance, maturity, all of it. He looked.. wiser? Also definitely more built than he was before.

"Thanks for barging into my house geez." Namjoon snickered, holding a margarita in his hand. Jin looked at him with remorse filled eyes, and Namjoon looked at him with emotions unconveyed, but before either could be spilled, they heard a squeal.

"Namjoonie!" Jungkook gasped, eyes growing big as he spotted the older man standing by the other boys. Namjoon looked at him, and his eyes widened too.

Jungkook ran up to him, literally ran, and then jumped onto Namjoon, making Namjoon accidentally drop the glass he was holding to hug Jungkook back.

Jungkook hugged him tightly, arms wrapped around his neck. "I missed you so much." Namjoon whispered, and Jungkook sniffled, tears filling his eyes as Namjoon set him down, patting his cheek.

Jungkook looked at him with watery eyes, and Namjoon chuckled. "God Kookie- made me spill my drink everywhere. Didn't- didn't I tell you to stop running around so much?" Namjoon said fondly, and Jungkook sniffled and nodded.

"Y-yes. Sorry." Jungkook squeaked, looking at him shyly. Namjoon sighed, and then pulled him in for another hug.

"How were the States, Kookie?"

"B-big. Got lost there. I was all alone." Jungkook whispered, and Namjoon patted his back, leaning down to hug him. While doing so, Namjoon looked in front and saw Taehyung standing behind Yoongi and Jimin, looking hesitant.

They met eyes, and Namjoon's instantly darkened, while Taehyung gulped and looked away.

Jungkook pulled away from the hug. "You're out of prison! How?" Jungkook asked, and Namjoon shrugged. "Pulled some strings. It's all fine now, little one." Namjoon said, and Jungkook grinned.

He pulled at Jin's sleeve, and at Namjoon's sleeve. "Now you and Jinnie can get back together!" Jungkook giggled, and both men instantly pulled their arms back.

"That's- um-"

N-no- I- um- we-"

Jungkook looked confused, looking between them with big eyes. "Didn't you break up because Namjoon was in prison? He's out now, Jin. Go- kiss him." Jungkook said in a pout, pointing at Namjoon.

Jin laughed awkwardly, and then turned around, clearing his throat. "I-I'll go get something to clean the broken glass up." Jin mumbled, and then walked away rather quickly.

Jungkook tilted his head in confusion, and Namjoon sighed. "Don't bring that up, Kook." Namjoon said, and Jungkook pouted. "W-why.." Jungkook squeaked, looking down. Namjoon grabbed him, turning him to the side and crouching down a little to his height.

"Hey, it's fine. Don't worry about it. Me and Jin are still friends, okay? We're just better apart." Namjoon said softly, and Jungkook was confused.

"But I thought you loved him.." Jungkook trailed. Namjoon smiled a little, a sad look behind those smiling eyes. "I did. But he stopped. And that's okay. Things happen, we move on. You don't have to love someone forever, Kookie. Sometimes people fade away and that's alright." Namjoon said.

Jungkook looked to the side, looking at Taehyung, who was standing by the staircase, texting someone. Jungkook then looked at Namjoon. "I-I guess."

"But, anyway. Look at you. All grown up and fair. Your hair, too. You look so.. polished. Were you rich back there or something?"

"Oh you have no idea." Jimin snickered, and Jungkook shushed him, and then turned to face Namjoon.

"I'll tell you everything. B-but we just came from a long flight.. and I'm kind of hungry right now." Jungkook said, and Namjoon smiled.

"Well that's good, 'cause I have a nice chocolate pie sitting in the kitchen for you." Namjoon said, and Jungkook gasped with a smile.

Jungkook jumped up and rushed into the kitchen, and Yoongi and Jimin followed suit. Taehyung tried walking in there, and Namjoon walked up to him before he could.

"You have some right walking in here after everything you did," Namjoon snapped, and Taehyung looked at him.

"I have a lot of shit going on right now, Joon. I just want to be there for Kookie for a while-"

"You don't need to. You can go." Namjoon cut him off. "He's with us. With people he can trust and love. Not people who give up themselves and their friends for stupid reasons." Namjoon spoke sharply, and Taehyung snickered.

"Stupid reasons? I did it to save Jungkook!"

"You could've done it in other ways. If it weren't for you, Kim, I'd have gone out of there with Jin and Yoongi. But you're the reason I got stuck in there for as long as I did- and all the shit I had to go through in there. I'll never forgive you for that, got it?" Namjoon growled, and Taehyung sighed.

"I was in there too. I know how hard it was-"

"Yeah but you got out! I didn't- I was stuck there! So I don't want to see you near me after today, and don't even think of getting near Jungkook." Namjoon said, and Taehyung took a step back.

"Y'know what- I don't need to wait for a day. I'll leave now. It's clear that whatever I do doesn't matter to anyone. Jungkook was my number one priority for 3 years, he can be yours now." Taehyung said, and then turned around. "Nice seeing you." Taehyung spoke sharply, before walking towards the door.

Jungkook walked out of the kitchen. "Joon, Tae, come on let's g-" Jungkook started, but then saw Taehyung walk out of the main door.

"Tae?" Jungkook called, and Taehyung turned around, gave him a look, and then turned back around and made sure to slam the door shut.

Jungkook looked at Namjoon. "W-where is he going?"

"Nowhere. C'mon- let's get back in the kitchen." Namjoon said, placing his hand on Jungkook's back and leading him back into the kitchen.
