THIRTY FIVE

hi..?

×××××

02:03 am

Hoseok checked his wristwatch for the nth time, first the work and now this traffic - they were late. Yoongi already fell asleep on his shoulder as they both had a rough day at work. Thankfully, they didn't have to wait more minutes and soon arrived home.

Some maids opened the door for them and approached them to take their blazers off and offered them a glass of water.

"Is Jungkook home?" Yoongi asked the maids first, even though he was so tired and at the edge to fall asleep again. Jungkook had texted them about going to his friend's house but didn't tell them whether he was staying there or not. However, he better not stay at someone else's house.

"Yes, Mr Jung. He arrived home after having dinner with his friend."

Yoongi nodded, looking back at Hoseok.

"Babe, I will be back after checking upon him-"

"No, you'll go to bed right now." Hoseok interrupted him. "I'll go and check on him." He let out a noise to stop Yoongi who was about to protest - the bags under his eyes were evidence that he needs a lot of sleep. He pressed a kiss on Yoongi's temples before going upstairs.

Yoongi saw Hoseok climbing the stairs before he went to their bedroom to change into something casual.

The door creaked open while the lights were dim in the room as Hoseok stepped into Jungkook's room, the only source of light was the moonlight peeking through the gap between curtains. He let out a sigh of relief when he saw Jungkook tucked in bed.

Hoseok got startled when he saw the cat staring into his soul with those laser eyes. He patted his chest and sauntered to the bed - picking Jack from the end of the bed, from where he was staring at Jungkook with glowing eyes like a mini demon.

"Jack, you have your bed." He dropped the cat in his bed before going back to Jungkook who was already asleep with his ipad on. He seemed to be working on something but somehow he ended up sleeping.

Hoseok smiled, pushing Jungkook's hair back gently and internally cooing how his cheek looks puffy while pressed against the pillow.

"Goodnight, Kookie," He said quietly before planting a kiss on Jungkook's forehead. He reached for the ipad to place it away from there.

"Papa-" Hoseok was about to leave but paused when he heard the sleepy voice.

"Go back to sleep, bubba."

"You're late..." Jungkook blinked his heavy eyelids lazily before slightly turning back. "Again.." He sounds so cute and sleepy.

"We're sorry, Kookie." There's only one rule set by Jungkook which is considered to be followed by everyone in the Jung mansion. No overworking. The reason behind this is that The Jungs wouldn't be the only ones who would be overworking but their employees at the workplace, maids and servants at home who would be overworking along with them.

Jungkook hums and grabs Hoseok's hand but he seems too sleepy to say anything. Somehow Hoseok managed to slip out of Jungkook's grasp without waking up the latter and went back to his bedroom.

"Are you still awake?" Yoongi hummed in response, already tucked in bed with his favourite side. However, he tilted his head back to get a glimpse of his husband who was buttoning up his loungewear shirt.

Hoseok slipped into blankets soon, spooning his tiny husband with his leg thrown over Yoongi's hip and intertwining their fingers, making their wedding rings clank against each other.

He pressed a kiss on the crown of his husband's head, inhaling the sweet cologne of Yoongi and pulling him close till his chest pressed against his husband's back.

"Happy anniversary, jagi."

Yoongi's smile grew wide. "Happy anniversary, love." He said back before bringing their hands closer to his chest as they both drift into a deep slumber. The next thing they remember waking up to was because of harsh knocking sounds against their bedroom's door.

"HAPPY 15TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY TO YOU, DAD!"

Yoongi got embraced in arms as soon as he opened the door, slightly startled by the dramatic confetti popper. He hugs back Jungkook who was getting taller than him day by day.

"Thank you, Bubba," He pulled back from the hug. "And I told you not to bring these poppers, it scares your papa." He scolded softly but Jungkook only gave a tooth showing smile to him.

"For you,"

Jungkook gave a bouquet of red roses before kissing on his dad's cheek. Yoongi saw him rushing towards Hoseok who was still on the bed, giving him a bouquet of red roses as well before dragging Hoseok out of the bed because he wanted a group hug on this beautiful morning.

"Okay, now take shower and dress up for brunch, I have a little surprise for you," He said with enthusiasm before Hoseok ruffled his hair - messing up with his hair, smiling at him.

"Papa, stop! It took me an hour to fix my hair."

Yoongi laughed at the way Jungkook grumbled under his breath before rushing out of their bedroom. His eyes met with his husband as soon as Jungkook disappeared from their sight.

"So..." Hoseok trailed off, pulling Yoongi close by waist.

"Happy anniversary," Yoongi shrugged, hands on his husband's chest who was leaning down, making him giggle. He has been in love for decades with him yet it feels like yesterday.

Hoseok still has the smile which makes his heart race and he remembers the time when he used to act all cold in front of him in their secondary school days to let Hoseok know that he wasn't an easy player to give in. He still remembers the poems that Hoseok wrote for him which exaggerate things about his beauty, the bracelets that he used to make to get a glimpse of his smile and Yoongi gave in seeing the 'foreverness' in those eyes every time he smiled at him, hold his hand or even when he kissed him.

Yoongi leaned up to kiss him a little harder.

"Your turn," He slightly pushed his husband away after pulling out of the kiss.

"No- it was you-"

"I won't repeat myself." He interrupted Hoseok, walking towards their bathroom without sparing any glance, allowing Hoseok to smirk.

Later, Yoongi and Hoseok came out of their bedroom, casually dressed as they didn't have any plans in the daylight. They sat at the dining table, looking at each other and grinning at the person who was serving him.

"I made Japchae and roasted chicken for you,"

"You did?" Jungkook hummed in response when Yoongi asked him, who looked at his husband with 'our baby made it' expression. They immediately took a bite of Japchae and moaned at the taste because it was better than restaurants that they had been to.

Hoseok definitely could see few changes in Jungkook who nowadays complains less and engages into things to keep himself productive however he was still the stubborn kid when it comes to certain things but he stopped pushing them too much. They were quite happy with it and asked for absolutely nothing.

"I love you, little prince." Yoongi said that in the middle of finishing his chocolate truffle which was made by his little prince of their small regime. "Everything is delicious and perfect, baby and I'm so proud of you, baby." He finished although the truffles were too sweet for his taste.

"You should be. Kookie has improved a lot in academics and as well as in his small business, I'm proud of you too, bubba."

Jungkook whined to make them stop as he doesn't want to talk about his painting selling. It was very small and also unidentified as he goes by his pen name 'JK', however he got a lot of appreciation within a few months after allowing his art to be exhibited in some modern art gallery.

"Hoba, It's not only about academics, you know it doesn't matter to us. He did better things than that," Yoongi retorted, reaching to caress Jungkook's cheek who fed him his own truffle in return.

"There's a lot of ways to be productive now and our Jungkookie is doing most of them, thankfully our family got a little artist among people who only studies business." Hoseok laughed at that before continuing to eat while their chit chat continued.

"We have been planning to go to our new yacht, how about you join us, Kookie?"

Jungkook's smile drops at the mention of the yacht. "No... and what I'd do on your date? Enjoy your date, you rarely get time to spend time with each other." He plays with his food, gazing down.

"Bubba, you know it's not a date date and you can tell us whether you have other plans." Hoseok said, putting his cutlery down. It brought sparkles to Jungkook's eyes, immediately tensing Yoongi and Hoseok.

"I have with my friends, I wanna go to the new bar-"

"No." Yoongi interrupted first. "You are not joining them, you all have better places to visit rather than drinking and partying."

"Okay." Jungkook accepted. "I won't go." It shocks the Jungs along with the maids around them, surprising that Jungkook agreed to not go and accepted whatever his dad decided for him.

After all, they were similar with Jungkook's stubbornness along with his anger issues with certain things. It is always the Jungs who change their decision for him at the end.

"....and then your dad told the bartender that he will become a pole dancer to get free drinks,"

Hoseok had his arms wrapped around Jungkook while Jungkook threw his arms around his dad, Yoongi, who looked flustered and more embarrassed but kept his calm by smiling like he hadn't the urge to seal his husband's mouth.

"Your son isn't supposed to gather that information." It made Hoseok laugh harder while they were on the way to Jungkook's art room as he wanted them to show something.

"A pole dancer?" Jungkook continued giggling. "You were so cool, daddy, I mean you're still cool." He touched his nose with knuckles out of habit. "I wish you were my best friend in college, I'm graduating soon and y'know I hate new people."

Yoongi caressed his nape to relax. "I know, and that's what I told Hoseok when he sent you to that apartment." He randomly raises the topic, causing Jungkook's giggles to halt.

Taehyung.

Because of the 'growing strong and independent' agenda before turning 18, he was able to meet, bone and be taken care of in every way by Taehyung again. They were his best months in the year considering how many things changed between them.

Everything became abnormal ever since he got the urge to hold Taehyung's hands outside, touch his soft looking honey blonde hair outside of sexual context and hug him when he wears his specs back after taking a nap because he looks so soft and cozy like big poodle puppy.

"We should move your things back to-"

"No." Jungkook snapped without realising, Hoseok looked at him. "I mean I like the place and the atmosphere there." He knows he's doomed if his dad suspects a thing. It isn't like they were against him dating anyone but the thing is he wasn't dating anyone but rather wrapped around in a 'friends with benefits' thing but again they weren't even friends.

Their relationship is unlabeled till now.

Somehow Jungkook managed to distract them from the apartment topic when his fathers reached the topic of 'Mr Kim' who was only supposed to be his 'potential' neighbor.

His fathers were busy admiring his art room along with a painting of their family including Jack who was a new member while Jungkook drowned himself in certain thoughts.

Jungkook knocked on the door after pressing the doorbell, checking his wrist watch pretty impatiently as Taehyung was taking forever to open the door.

"Who are you?" Taehyung's voice appeared once the door opened, making Jungkook puff out a sigh before shrugging his shoulders with an expression saying 'seriously?'

"No, seriously who are you?" Taehyung asked again, making Jungkook roll his eyes this time. "You can't be Jungkook because Jungkook never knocks on my door, he directly breaks into my apartment." He suspiciously eyed the younger one prior to him who tried to walk past him but Taehyung blocked his way.

"Then lemme show you," Jungkook emphasized, jumping on Taehyung to kiss him. They both giggled in the kiss before Jungkook's back got pressed against the wall. However, Taehyung pulled out of the kiss earlier than Jungkook's liking, to close the door.

"I'm still shocked that you properly knocked on my door," Jungkook rolled his eyes again, following Taehyung behind in the kitchen. "Also I made blackberry cheesecake because I'm in a good mood today."

"Because of me?" Jungkook grins teasingly, sitting on one of the stools of the counter.

Taehyung flicks his chin. "No, unfortunately." He takes out the big piece of blackberry cheesecake that he saved for Jungkook who pouted at the reply.

"By the way, you look good. Came back from somewhere?"

Taehyung looked down at himself - his sky blue shirt tucked in his black slacks securing it with a belt, accentuates his long legs while his honey blonde hair were side parted with a strand of hair falling on his forehead making him attractive for Jungkook while he thinks he looks just ordinary.

"Oh I came from school." He replied, sitting next to Jungkook's stool and whirling around his stool.

"Woah," Jungkook uttered when he felt himself twirling around until he faced Taehyung again.

"Aren't you too happy today?"

"Well, am I not supposed to?"

"You deserve it."

Taehyung slid the plate of cheesecake in front of Jungkook whose reply made him a little, just teeny bit flustered. He watches him take a bite of the cheesecake and his expressions say it all.

"I can't eat more." It made Taehyung frown, making his grin disappear.

"Did you not like it?"

"I'm following my gym diet, I have to keep this booty sexy," Jungkook replied, causing Taehyung to choke on his saliva. Muscle thighs ass thick muscle thick thighs-

"Are you alright?"

"Y-Yea.." Taehyung cleared his throat. "Yeah."

"Actually..." He began while watching Jungkook twirling the small fork with the cheesecake. Should he tell him or not because it's not like Jungkook cares about it. "I had applied for a professor position a few days ago and I already got the call from the university administration for an interview."

Jungkook blinked at him. "What? That's so cool. Congrats, I guess."

"Thank you." Taehyung smiled. "So that's why I went to kindergarten to resign."

"Are you that confident?" Jungkook's eyes widened at his confidence.

"Of course, I know my potential and weakness, in brief I'm a self aware man." Jungkook let out a snort before feeding Taehyung the cheesecake.

"Wait-" He grabbed Taehyung's bicep, staring directly into his brown eyes. "You didn't do this because of ..... because of y'know what had happened back in your hometown with your aunt, right? Tae, don't tell me-"

"Nothing." Taehyung interrupted. "It has nothing to do with what had happened back there. I always wanted to do something with the teaching profession as I love the learning process and kids so I chose kindergarten for some kind of experience but it doesn't pay me enough."

"I want to build my own house somewhere where I would be able to see the sunset after an exhausting day." Taehyung continued. "I want to be plants dad and maybe I will adopt another dog for yeontan there," He took his specs off, placing it down on the counter. "And without money and hard work I won't be able to do any of it."

Jungkook reached to caress his breed cheek with the pad of thumb. He sometimes wonders why Taehyung's simple dreams to live a happy and good life makes his heart ache in a good way.

Imagining Taehyung lapful of puppies in the backyard garden admiring the sunset after a long day while the orange rays shone on his honey skin makes Jungkook selfish - so selfish, wanting to be a part of it.

But he doesn't know how to be a part of it.

"Well, I don't ask for much." Taehyung pinched the bridge of his nose, staring back at the younger one. "Expectations break you, I want to build everything little by little even if it takes time." He propped his chin on his palm when Jungkook didn't say anything in return but continued to stare at him.

"House near the beach? Uhmm sounds good," Jungkook said after a long awkward silence. Taehyung frowned at the sudden change of Jungkook's behaviour, who seemed nervous and a little awkward (?).

"Something wro-" Jungkook pressed their lips together, Taehyung was slightly taken back but returned the kiss, hands sliding down to his tiny waist. While the younger one cupped his jaw properly, moving his lips awkwardly and more unrhythmic. So unlike himself.

"Jungkook, is everything alright?" Taehyung chuckled, pulling from the kiss. "You seem nervous?"

"No, you're just looking beautiful." Taehyung raised an eyebrow at him.

"You know we can't have sex right-" Jungkook whines to interrupt Taehyung.

"Why, can't I just compliment you out of bed?"

"Of course, you can. It just feels weird." Taehyung tried to stand up from his stool when Jungkook grabbed his hand.

"Kiss me, c'mon." His urges never fill when it comes to kissing Taehyung, he just wants again and again after every kiss. Moreover Taehyung knows how to please him with touches while kissing him.

After a long session of kisses, Jungkook finally let go of Taehyung who changed into something casual before busying himself on the phone, texting back some of his contacts while in the middle of watching recipe videos.

"Who's Hyeon?" Jungkook knows it's wrong to peek at someone's phone without their permission but he was doing it in front of Taehyung instead of peeking at his phone secretly.

"One of my colleagues," Taehyung replied without hesitation, he doesn't mind Jungkook seeing his texts as he doesn't have anything confidential to hide.

"Isn't your colleague sending you too many hearts?"

Taehyung hummed in response as he had nothing to say.

"Is he pretty?" Jungkook picked his nails, averting his eyes on his painted nails.

"What?" Taehyung let out in confusion.

"I asked whether he is prettier than me." It made Taehyung gulp, blinking multiple times. Jungkook's voice was soft and polite.

"Of course not,"

Jungkook gasped softly, unprovoked. "I know after all no one got what I have, innit? And you better stop talking to ugly people, Tae." He retorted, hand slipping down to Taehyung's chest.

Taehyung's eyes widened. This Jungkook makes him somehow more nervous than he should be. The great big doe eyes which seems incredibly innocent while the tip of his tongue holds a tone which could get a grasp of anyone with his sweetness & sourness.

"And who the fuck is that unknown number?" Jungkook clutches on Taehyung's shirt, tugging him close. "I hate seeing those unread texts whenever it pops up. Tell them to fuck off and you don't wanna meet them." It was Jia who's number remained unsaved in Taehyung's contact list, asking him to fix a date to meet her.

"I'm not even planning to,"

Jungkook sounds so jealous. Taehyung somehow likes it.

"Good puppy." There was a tense between them, it seemed like they had a lot of things to say but everything remained unsaid. They continued to stare at each other until Jungkook leaned to press an open mouth kiss on Taehyung's lips.

"Aren't we kissing way too much today?" A wet noise emanated from between their lips as Taehyung pulled out of the kiss to chuckle.

Jungkook hummed in response, pressing their lips again. "I can't help," He lies down on his back, slowly tugging Taehyung down along with him while their lips remain connected.

"Why do you not want to kiss me anymore?"

"I do, a lot."

Taehyung hovered over him, hands either of Jungkook's head before slipping one of his hands down to his small waist, lifting his hoodie to caress the warm skin underneath, unconsciously making Jungkook shiver at the coldness against his skin.

"Why though?"

"I don't know...." Jungkook trailed off, timid voice, gaze kept flickering from Taehyung's eyes to his lips.

"You tell me," Taehyung felt Jungkook's fingertips against his nose. "Why do you make me feel clingy and.... different?" Jungkook brushed the strand of hair off his forehead. "You're doing something weird to me." He whispered and Taehyung got frozen but immediately shook his head as he wanted nothing but change the topic because he knows his feelings aren't worth enough to talk about.

"Taehyung," He likes when Jungkook calls his name. "Let's end whatever is between us, I can't do it anymore and don't you think it's useless when you and I can move out of-"

Jungkook's phone began ringing, interrupting him and making him scowl. Taehyung felt his heart sinking at the sudden and unfinished confession from Jungkook - ending whatever they had? Isn't it a good thing? He would be free from those stupid feelings but Jungkook was the only one who feels like an escape....

"Goddammit!" He exclaimed, reaching for his phone in pockets. "Jackson, what do you want?" He asked right after answering the call. Taehyung pulled back from Jungkook at the mention of name - his jaw clenched.

"What do you mean by I'm acting rude, I'm always rude." Taehyung side eyed and saw how Jungkook gasped softly before covering his mouth. "Uhm that's spicy, you really know how to make my day better." It brought a frown to Taehyung's face. His jaw unclenched when he realised that he doesn't have the right to be mad or pissed.

"Of course I didn't forget about today, see ya soon." Jungkook ended the call, silence falling in between them as the younger one had his all attention on his phone.

"You were saying something," Taehyung broke the silence, making Jungkook snap his head up. "About ending things...?" His voice lowers, almost inaudible. His heart aches when he tries to say it.

"Was I?" Jungkook looked confused. "I don't remember, maybe I said in the heat of the moment but what was I saying?"

"Nothing."

"Are you happy?" Taehyung asked after a long pause. "I meant you've been hanging out a lot with Jackson lately, you must be enjoying spending time with him."

"Oh yeah," Jungkook put his phone away, crawling towards Taehyung. "Y'know we went to try out the best wine in the world and we also went to open wheel car racing to see his cousin brother there and it was so cool."

"Yeah?" Taehyung knew how much Jungkook loves cars, whether it is a sports car or any car with extraordinary features. As much as he loves to see the smug smile reaching Jungkook's eyes, he envies that he was happy with someone who was not him as the younger one continued talking about it with enthusiasm.

Jungkook was like sand; the more he tightens grip on him, the more he slipped out of his grasp.

However he realised he shouldn't be selfish when Jungkook doesn't even want to stay. Taehyung hates every second when Jungkook leaves him in his apartment; hates the walls which force him to overthink about the future.

Taehyung's mind went to Jia's text, thinking about deleting it and pretending like he never received it in the first place. His thumb hovered over the text from Jia which remained unread in his text box. He let out a sigh and threw his phone away.

He thinks too much... Jungkook will be back by tomorrow...

Punch.

Another punch.

Followed by a series of punches, Jungkook huffed in protest and stepped away from the punching bag. He let out a noise of disappointment and clasped his gloved fist on his palm before glancing back.

"You're getting better with every punch," Jackson complimented, walking close to him.

"You think so?" Jungkook's eyes raked on Jackson's biceps as the male was wearing a tank top along with some sport shorts.

"But I don't think I'm trying my best,"

Jackson handed him a water bottle before dragging him to the corner of his boxing room, making Jungkook sit on the bean bag.

"Nonsense, you're good at everything," Jungkook giggled out, they have been hanging out quite often lately especially since Jackson offered him a tour of his new boxing room, intriguing Jungkook's interests. They have been playing, gyming, practicing boxing and going out to eat without anyone's interruption - Jackson couldn't be happier than before.

"I should take a shower I'm all sweaty,"

Jackson saw how Jungkook scrunched his nose, making him chuckle. His hair sticks against his forehead due to sweat - Jungkook is beautiful in every way, the thought makes him grin internally while he was helping in unwrapping the bandage around Jungkook's hands after taking off the gloves. He was selfish if someone defined him because he couldn't let go of something that easily.

"Then let's play overwatch?"

"Okay!" Jungkook reached for his phone which was placed on the near cabinet, eyes sparkling as he noticed texts from Taehyung asking him whether he was home or not.

Jackson saw how his attention turned all over his phone, making him clench his fists. "Kook, you should go take a shower." He said with a forced smile, succeeding in averting Jungkook's attention from the phone to him before the younger one went to take a shower - giving the time to think for Jackson whether he should do it or drop it.

He looked up for Jungkook's phone, smirking when he found the phone on the table. After an hour Jungkook came out of the shower, hair wet and changed into something casual as he planned to stay for their video game night.

"Jackson, I love the scent of your shampoo, it smells so delicious."

"Don't tell me you taste it," Jackson teased. "I knew it so I ordered that for you since you've been coming to my house lately. I also know you don't like strong scents." Jackson does notice his small details but he could never be Taehyung, in fact he doesn't even have to be him. They sat with snacks and grabbed their joypad before starting the game - selecting their characters.

Jackson won the first round, emitting a noise of disappointment from Jungkook.

"Noooo!" Jungkook grumbled under his breath as he doesn't like to lose even for one time. He sat down on the floor, reaching for a packet of snacks on the table before the next game could start.

"I'll beat you in the next round."

"Okay, sore loser." Jungkook poked out his tongue at Jackson in a teasing way before defeating him in the next round of the game. As the night depends, they get more competitive. They were in the middle of the game when Jackson saw how Jungkook averted his attention from the screen to his buzzing phone.

"Who are you talking to?"

"Taehyung." Jungkook replied without hesitation. They already lost the game as Jackson could see a big 'Game Over' displaying on the screen, making him drop his joypad and shifting his eyes on Jungkook who had a pout on his lips.

"It's past 2 now, why is he texting you?"

"Exactly! He has an interview tomorrow and he hasn't slept yet."

Jackson raised an eyebrow at the strange answer (for him) from Jungkook who had an angry frown now along with his pout deepens which looks adorable on him.

"How about eating something right now?" He suggested, wanting nothing but Jungkook's attention on him - only him. So he reached to snatch Jungkook's phone, standing up and immediately shoving his phone into pocket.

"What the fuck, Jackson? Give my phone back." Jungkook whined, standing up from his place.

"He isn't that important, c'mon."

"Oh," Jungkook uttered. "And you will not decide that for me." Jackson was aware of his straightforward/blunt behaviour which isn't a problem because he finds it hot. Jungkook never fails to show his raw feelings, his anger, his happiness, his smiles and his craziness which drives Jackson more crazy about him.

"Kookie, the graduation ceremony is in a few weeks now. Let's enjoy our time since we don't where we are parting or even if we're staying together." forever.

Jungkook agreed with him, dropping the topic.

"So let's order something, what do you want to eat?" It made Jungkook roll his eyes before snatching Jackson's phone from him.

"How about we have some instant ramen?"

Jackson grimaced when Jungkook said it. "Who the hell eats instant ramen when we have chiefs to make it for us?" He asked back, seemingly to not care about his phone in Jungkook's hand because he got what he wanted from him to proceed further.

"Let's not wake anyone, okay." Jungkook whirled Jackson around, pushing forward to get out of the gaming room.

"Instant ramen is the best snack at night. Taehyung also gave me his recipe to make it better." Jungkook began, tiptoeing down to stairs along with Jackson trailing behind him.

"You don't know but when I was at Taehyung's house, we used to sneak into his kitchen at midnight because I usually get hungry even after eating dinner and Taehyung had no options but to cook something for because who could resist me, like bitch, I got an adorable face for nothing."

Taehyung shouldn't have been on their way in the first place. He confirmed Jungkook's feelings towards him, that's why he tried to confess to him for the first time. Taehyung this, Taehyung that. Jackson was frustrated with the name. He had the urge to punch him when he saw him for the first time, with Jungkook.

Once they were able to make it into Wang's mansion's huge kitchen - they were confused with the cabinets to find the right ingredients. Somehow they managed to get the utensils and needed ingredients.

"You know how to cook?" Jackson asked, a little concerned because he knew nothing while Jungkook was chopping some garlic with noodles to boil on the stove.

"Duh," Jungkook looked at him. "I've been raised in the family of master chiefs, have you tried my dad's cooking?"

"Kook, you'll hurt yourself so be careful with the knife." Jackson stepped closer to Jungkook who was carefully chopping the vegetables. "Isn't it said instant? Why are we doing the work then? I think it was better if we had ordered from some restaurants."

"No, Jackson. I'm telling you, you won't die." Jungkook snapped. "Also pass me the oil."

"How the fuck oil looks like?"

"It is- oh there, the one that looks like lube." He began, turning off the stove to drain out the unnecessary water. "But it isn't lube, it is a less thicker liquid." Jackson finally recognized the oil and handed it to Jungkook who finally finished with their midnight dish.

"Isn't it good?"

Jackson hesitated to take a bite as he has never in his life tasted instant food. However he took a bite for Jungkook's sake and he actually liked it.

"...I don't know if i should tell you this but i think Taehyung's mom makes one of the best bulgogi in the world but she's kinda b word so i refuse to admit it."

"You met his parents as well?" Jackson asked with a look of disbelief. How far have they been? Were they really into a relationship?

"No, actually. I met only his mom but he never told me about his dad."

"What? He went to get milk and never came back?"

"Jackson! Can you just not be mean towards him? He did nothing to you." Jackson rolled his eyes. "I'm sorry, I guess." He saw how the frown on Jungkook's face hadn't faded away even after his apology, making him step closer to him, putting down his empty bowl.

"Can you just not talk about him?" Jackson brushed the strand of hair off Jungkook's forehead. "I don't fucking care who is he." He immediately continued to interrupt Jungkook who opened his mouth to say. "Thank you for hanging out with me like before, I've been nothing but much happier. It feels like earlier."

He cupped Jungkook's face. "And thank you for not inviting Jimin here."

Jungkook put his hand upon Jackson's.

"I know after that incident.... he doesn't even know the whole story. I tried to tell him but he refused to believe me saying that I'm trying to defend you."

Jackson was homeschooled till elementary school because of strict parents and when he enrolled into the high school. It was filled with rich kids obviously and of course they were familiar faces and one of them was Jungkook whom he had seen at dinner parties but never paid much attention to, like others. But after meeting Jungkook there who was first to befriend him along with Jimin and he swears he has never seen anyone as beautiful as him, from the way he walks to the way he talks. He was perfect.

They became close, playing and hanging out together. It took him years to admit his feelings for Jungkook, he realised right after when Jungkook kissed him for the first time. He knows he's stupid to overthink about a mere kiss when it was just a game. But he was a new teenager with blooming love in his heart. It was going all alright till the day he planned to confess and everything went wrong.

"It was my fault, baby," Jackson began, he knows what he is doing. "I wish I could undo everything, I wish I knew you better then, I wish it never happened so we could be happy... together."

Jungkook was crazy about beaches, the sand and sunset. It was all planned to brought him flowers then take him on his yacht, enjoy the sunset while he admire the prettiest boy in his hold and then pretend to drowning at the end of their date so Jungkook could jump into the water to save him and Jackson could finally confess to him before kissing him under water as it was one of ideal date idea of Jungkook.

"It wasn't your fault that you didn't know I'm allergic to sea water."

"I almost killed you," Jackson chuckled sadly. He still could recall that evening where rescuers pulled both of them out of the water, the fear expression when he saw Jungkook's face and how fast his heart was beating when they rushed to hospital.

"You know it hurts me the most when everyone around you didn't let me see you till you were back at school." Jungkook blinked because he didn't know that, however he was back to normal after two days back then as the hospital discharged him and yeah he was grounded for a week.

"Jimin actually made me feel like I did that on purpose while I was oblivious. He fucking punched me on face when he saw me in the hospital which hurt like a bitch. I even cried in front of my parents," Jackson grabbed him close by his tiny waist after so long. He looked into those eyes, inhaling deeply. He gotten the opportunity, he might take whatever he wants. Gaze fell on Jungkook's lips which looked tempting and more red maybe because of the spicy ramen.

"Kook, tell me if that didn't happen then...then there wouldn't be any... Taehyung between us, right."

Jungkook blinked confusingly. "No, I guess. I don't know... fate would be different if it hadn't happened but who knows." He said, gulping. Jackson never told Jungkook why he took him to the yacht which belongs to the Wang family but he was aware of Jackson's crush on him which might have passed away with time. Like he thought.

"I thought you were the most annoying person because you couldn't stop giggling with Jimin in the class but I also loved the moment when you turned around to say that my jacket looks good on me before befriending me." Jackson began, cupping Jungkook's jaw whose heart was beating so fast. "Isn't it bad that I'm still in love with you?"

"Isn't it bad that I want to be whatever we are but a few things will add, like holding hands and kissing."

Jungkook's lips quivers to say something but it seems there were no words in his mouth at the sudden confession, allowing Jackson to continue.

"I know you already know that I like you, and you wouldn't mind joining me knowing after that I still have feelings for you, I know you like me back." Jungkook opened his mouth to say but it felt like his mind was still clogged with the confession and his certain unfamiliar feelings towards Taehyung.

However, Jackson put a halt to his thoughts when he pressed his lips against his. Making his breath hitch before he closed his eyes as he felt his mind hazed.

Jackson also ended the recording in his pocket, holding Jungkook's jaw properly to enjoy their moment.
