Prologue
It was a dark and stormy night at Sumdac Tower. It was only 1:15 in the morning, everyone was asleep, everyone was gone for the night, except for one person. On one of the corkboards were multiple posters of missing staff with their names, age, physical description, and when they were last seen.
The only remaining staff member left in the building ran past the board, panting with panic in her voice. She bumped into a wall as she rounded a corner. Feeling the pain travelling through her nervous system, she held her arm as it was slowly going away from the adrenaline of terror filling her being. Red lines of code surrounded her glasses, causing them to crack and making the woman come to a quick stop. She shakingly took off the glasses to check the damage and her thoughts rushed through her head on repeat at what seemed like a hundred miles an hour.
Is she still following me? Where is she? Why did my glasses suddenly break? I'm scared. I don't want to die. Is she doing this? I need to get out!
She looked up ahead, and even though her vision is very blurry, the lights flickering overhead to reveal the silhouette of a slumped figure. She placed the broken glasses back on her face to get a better look if when the lights flicker back on.
She heard a sound and looked up to see red lines of code surround a security camera, before a round light forced the camera to turn 180-degrees, looking at the wall instead. She felt her heartbeats pick up speed as she looked back down the hall, her stomach drops that the lights reveal the very thing she was running from.
A worker drone with long, indigo hair with blunt bangs and a red hard hat with a yellow band wrapping around the bottom, and neon red eyes. She wore a red and yellow off shoulder crop top with a black tank top underneath, a skirt decorated with a yellow belt, making her outfit resemble a cheerleader. She also wore tall, black winter books. Red electricity sparked off all around her being.
She raised her hand as a glowing symbol appeared in her hand. She raised it in front of her, and the scared woman's saw it appeared into her right wrist and started moving on its own, extending out to the right. The worker drone moved her hand down, causing the woman's arm to be torn off as screams of pain, fear, and horror echoed the halls. She clutched her hand over the stub that sprays blood out like an out-of-control water hose.
She looked back up as tears build up in her eyes. The worker drone started walking closer, now wielding a butcher knife, the same symbol in the handle. She lifted it up, duplicating it to make three - and saw the same symbol in the right part of its visor - just before it flung the knifes in her direction. The last thing she saw was her reflection in one of them just before the butcher knife had cut into her head.
---
In a red lit room, two robotic roaches crawled to a pool of oil, drinking it. One of the two smacked the other away, causing it to get flung into a table leg, and started to drink from the puddle of oil. The worker drone walked in, stepping on the roach in the process. She tossed her backpack to the side, using her Absolute Solver to take items out of it such as books to put back on the shelf, cleaning supplies to put back into the cabinets, and such.
She picked up a piece of paper and conjured up a pen to cross off the last name on the list that said Head Management; Please mark ONE option.
She glanced over at the backpack, stained with oil for a worker drone arm was sticking out of the opening. "Мама, папа, (Mom, Dad,)" She started, glancing over to the dinner table. At the table, there sat two figures covered in drapes, robotic cockroaches crawling all over. "я вернулся. (I'm back.)"
