Chapter 1: The Promotioning

Mean speaking in Russian

It was another boring day in Sumdac Tower for Sari. She wanted to hang out with her Autobot friends, but she was stuck here with her tutor bot. That was until her father assigned her two worker drones to get ready for the promotion party that's happening later that night. She was about to pout, saying she doesn't want to go, but Issac said that the Autobots are also invited, which is also why he had it set up at the end of the month; to celebrate the Autobot's full month on Earth.

Which leads her to now, being led by the two drones to the indigo wig one to her room. She wanted to get ready with her Autobot friends, not with two company bots. But, she always wondered why she was the only worker drone to have her own room and what's in there. And as to why does she seem to have more of human conscious than the rest. In summary, every time Sari has seen you, she wonders why you act like as if you are an actual living being.

The door slid open as they walked in, red lights illuminating the small hall to the living area.

"Ugh, Y/n, do you ever clean?" The second worker drone, named Lizzy asked with a scoff, punting one of the robotic roaches away. Lizzy had a blond wig that is tied into a ponytail with a yellow bow resembling cat ears, the said ears match with the yellow band on her red hardhat. Her eyes on her visor were neon pink. Her attire matches with her worker drone friend, resembling the uniform of a cheerleader, with an off the shoulder crop top lined with yellow on the bottom and a skirt with a band, she also has a black tank top underneath.

"I put a sheet up. They're sleeping." You said, kind-heartedly as Sari hesitantly walked in, stopping her footfalls when she saw a robotic cockroach under her foot. She glanced over to where the kitchen would be, only to see that it was cast over in darkness and tiny red lights showing more robotic roaches moving around. The sight gives her an unsettling feeling in her gut.

"Hey, so, thanks for having me, but now that my dad thinks I'm here, I'm actually gonna di-" She said, turning around to leave until the doors closed in her face. "You're hilarious. She's hilarious." Lizzy remarked. "You should get ready. You're gonna look sooo cute, in a brave way." She continued, with Y/n just giving a thumbs up.

Sari's eyebrows furrowed in annoyance. She wasn't gonna stay for another second. She turned around, ready to use her key when she sees Y/n suddenly in front of the door. She looked back in confusion, only seeing Lizzy behind her. She glanced around for any way to help her out, but what caught her eye was the trash bin filled with crumpled up missing posters of the workers of the company that disappeared in the past couple of weeks.

"Bathroom is down the hall to the left." You informed with a welcoming smile. Sari sucked a breath through her teeth, slowly walking back. She gave a thumbs up, slowly turning around and headed to the designated bathroom.

(Time-skip)

Sari was in the bathroom, the only light also illuminating a red glow as she made the final adjustments to her hair, finished getting ready. She was feeling a little bored and decided to play around with the hairbrush, tossing it up in the air and catching it. She tried to catch it, but it kept jumping around in her hold and she accidentally propelled it to the mirror, shattering the glass.

In a panic, she got up on the counter, observing the rest of the damage, but stopped when she heard Lizzy's voice. "Dude, no one will notice she's missing. Just do your thing to have the door lock and I'll get the stage ready for the party. We'll see you there."

"What in the-" Sari muttered but was interrupted when she heard the dripping sound of liquid. She turned her head to where the bathtub was, noticing that a corner was covered and dripping this dark red substance. Is that where the smell of copper was coming from?

She slowly walked over to the bathtub and pulled the curtain back, revealing something that shook her to her core. In the bathtub was several broken mirrors covered in the same red substance, and instead of that copper smell, it smelled even more grotesque that made her realize what it was: Blood; Human blood.

The missing workers, the occasional small, red spots she would see on the walls or floor when she walked down the halls, the cameras being turned in the opposite direction; she did it. She did it all.

Sari snapped out of it when she heard footsteps approaching, Y/n was coming and she needed to act fast, not wanting to potentially being another victim of her. She quickly looked around for a way out and noticed a vent above the toilet.

Y/n walked over to the door, knocked on the door. She was confused when she heard no answer. She opened the door and saw that the mirrors she had broken because of her Absolute Solver programing were stacked up to the ceiling where there was an open vent.

"As they say in Russian, ...Whoops, I should've predicted that someone could escape out of a ventilation shaft using discarded mirrors as stairs."

Sari quickly ran out of Sumdac Tower, panting with a scared look on her face. That was until she ran into something made out of metal. She looked up to see that it was Bumblebee. "Sari!" Bumblebee said, noticing the scared look on her face. "Sari, is everything okay?" Optimus asked kneeling down to her.

"I- I think something bad is going to happen. It was so scary, and the red lighting only made it worse! There was blood, broken mirror-" Sari ranted in one breath, before Bulkhead calmed her down. "Woah, Sari! Everything will be fine, maybe it was just rusty water, and the red light made it look like blood." Bulkhead suggested. "Y-yeah, maybe you're right?"

Somewhere in the factory, where the party was taking place, everybody was enjoying the celebration, except for Issac Sumdac. He couldn't see or find his daughter anywhere. He glanced around the room to see that only some of his workers could make it and the majority were worker drones, one of which had the top of his head on fire that has still been going for 3 weeks. He looked up at the clock to see that it is 9:02.

Meanwhile, the headlights turned on and turned directly to the stage with Lizzy, in her outfit, next to the microphone stand. "Okay, listen up, nerds. We're doing this a little early, but since the other contestants to get promoted mysteriously disappeared, you're Head Advisor by forfeit is, uh... Vannessa Se'Desi." Lizzy announced, pointing everyone's attention and light to the tall, woman in a red dress and perfectly styled short, silver-dyed hair.

Every worker and worker drone groaned, one even tiredly commented that they're gonna be worked until they're dead.

Y/n looked down at the piece of paper with the crossed off names, lowly chuckling to yourself as your eyes started to turn from neon red to normal red. Lizzy quickly regained her composure before anyone would notice.

"So, forgive and forget, Vannessa changed and has started to become a better person for the work environment, or I'll dock your fricking break hours! And you can't sit with us, Rebecca!" Lizzy stated, pointing to the crowd, the light shining on a worker drone with neon teal eyes and short blue hair with a purple streak that is parted to her right, and is wearing a lavender strapless dress and a lilac hard hat.

"Fine! I forgive her. Settle" Rebecca begrudgingly accepted in her Irish accent. The room filled with indistinct chatter and applause. "Clap harder, losers!" Lizzy demanded, and everyone did, not wanting their break hours reduced. The crowd started chanting speech.

Professor Sumdac was ready to head out and look for his daughter but couldn't push the doors open. He saw a red glow and saw a red symbol appear. "What's happening?" He muttered to himself in worry.

Y/n watched as Vannessa walked forward on the stage, waving at the crowd as her chuckles turned to laughter, the Absolute Solver symbol appearing over the right side of her visor. She waited until Vannessa was on the X on the ground, the same symbol appearing in her hand.

Finally, she was getting her vengeance. She's finally going to pay after what she did to her creators that she saw as family, the only family she had known, the only family she had loved, only to be taken away from her that night. This is it. This is it! Justice shall be serv-

Her train of thought was interrupted when the Autobots barged in. "Unhand them, you fie-eeeeeend?" Sari started, only to see that nothing was wrong. "I'm confused." Bumblebee muttered.

You turned back around and continued on like there wasn't an interruption. A shockwave sent a row of people flying just before a long piece of rebar stabbed into Vanessa's forearms. Ringing filled her ears as pain pulsed through her veins. She looked to the left, watching Lizzy get yeeted off the stage; looking right she sees a worker drone's head get twisted before her body was crushed.

She looked back at the crowd, watching everyone run around like the rats in Ratatouille, meanwhile the worker drone that caused this uproar was just walking towards her, teleporting around like she was glitching. "Hello, Vannessa." You greeted with no emotion, making a worker drone explode in an oily pulp. You raised your hand, and she started feeling a pain in her head.

It was back to that night, where she killed Professor Yeva and her husband in a jealous rage, laughing at their misery as their screams filled the room, but it was in a third person point of view. She knew this when it showed past Y/n hiding in a closest, covering her mouth with fear and distraught, her right eye glitching into a weird symbol she never saw before.

She opened her eyes, filled with horror and shock as her irises shook. "Anyway, you get it." You stated with an angry expression. The symbol returned to the vengeful worker drone's right eye, and another piece of rebar stabbed her but in the stomach.

With a growl, Vanessa ripped her right arm from the rebar and spoke into her bracelet. "Fire at worker drone #002." She ordered, glaring at the drone, ready to finish what she started. Guns came out of the walls and started firing at Y/n, but it was futile for she used her Absolute Solver to make a forcefield around her, still approaching the woman.

Y/n summoned a butcher knife, raised it up and threw it, cutting off Vannessa's right arm that caused the weapons to cease fire. She used her Absolute Solver to force one of the fans blades off the ceiling, edited to make it larger and sharpens the blade to make them even deadlier.

"What in the Allspark is she doing?" Ratchet questioned in the background. "This is completely unexpected." Prowl commented. "...I guess we should, uh-" Optimus started, voice filled with unsure before interrupted by Bee groaning in annoyance; he just wants one week- hell, even a day where they don't have to fight and just relax for once.

You threw the spinning blade of death at the woman. It was about to hit Vannessa, until Prowl got in the way and kicked it away, causing it to get stuck in a wall. Your glare hardened as you looked around, seeing that you were surrounded by the Autobots.

(Skipping over the battle and summary because I can't figure out how to type that down, make it good, and end it with how I want it to end.)

-Instead of how the story originally going with you getting shot in the head and stuff, they managed to talk you out of it and asked you why you were doing this.

-After explaining everything and checking your memory banks to make sure you weren't lying, Vanessa was arrested for two second-degree murders and the corpse of Yeva, and her husband, were taken to a crematorium to get turned to ashes.

-You gotten your creator's ashes and had them put in two different objects. Metal heart necklaces that were sealed off so no stray ashes could escape, laying over your core, forever and always close to you, one for each person. And, in little dolls so then, if you had lost the necklaces, you'd still have something to hold close to you; almost reminds you when you used to get nightmares, the three of you would cuddle together, like you were their child, and they were your parents, by blood.

-After the whole fiasco, the human workers were debating whether or not you should be dismantled, destroyed, permanently shut off, etc.

-Fortunately, Optimus was there and didn't want that to happen. He had a feeling in his spark that, even though you tried to kill someone in the name of revenge, you could still be rehabilitated and live a peaceful life as much a worker drone can.

-So, you were registered under his name and were taken back to the factory. The atmosphere was a bit tense after you moved in, but it was getting lighter and lighter for each bot as time goes on - even if they are at different paces.

-In your eyes, he basically saved you even after all the terrible things you did and the trouble you caused, and with the baring guilt that has started swimming in your core, you were thankful.

-In order to understand the language that you spoke, they had a translation program downloaded into their systems.

The quickest one that already got used to you - minus Optimus - were Bumblebee and Sari because of your cool powers. The second was Bulkhead; he was a bit nervous around you, like he was walking on eggshells, but steadily got used to you around because you both shared in interest in art: Bulkhead with painting and sculpting, and you with poetry and sketching.

-Prowl and Ratchet were the hardest to accept you. Prowl started to get used to your presence; you weren't loud or energetic as the rest - Sari and Bumblebee; you were quiet unless spoken to- a taciturn basically. He once showed you the tree that grew in his room and explained his thoughts, what it represents as nature on this planet, and you were interested, it even gave you motivation to write a poem about it. It's nice to have someone listen to you about your interests for once.

-Ratchet was an old, stubborn, metal horse, thinking you as another being to babysit along with Sari. But there were a few nice times. When he couldn't find his favorite wrench, you announced your presence, wanting to help. He was about to go on this spiel about not needing help, but you interrupted him, saying that Bumblebee took it when he accidently broke a piece of equipment of his, also taking it so Ratchet wouldn't find out, and if he did, he wouldn't have a wrench to smack him in the head with. But, unknowingly to Bumblebee, you used your solver to apply it to your ethernet and presented Ratchet with a copy made with your ability; even making a few more so he could have backups. He thanks you that day- he might have a favorite now.
