Dear Diary,
Wait, I guess this is how I'm starting each chapter of my diary now...
Anyway, a lot has happened, so let's cut straight to the start...

It all started when I had just jumped off of the clock tower. I turned around but only to see a Psycho cut coming towards me.
And just as it was only milliseconds away from taking effect, my necklace glowed, and suddenly a green dome appeared around me...
I had covered my eyes previously, but then I had a look around. I immediately saw Sprigatito by my side, but then also the green, glowing dome surrounding us.
I then looked up to see some sort of pokémon I had never seen before. It was purple, had blue eyes, and most importantly, it had a shell on its back that looked just like my pendant!
Then, it disappeared, and my pendant started glowing to bright that it was almost blinding. The green dome around me started to disappear, all getting sucked back into my pendant.
Until it was all gone, and I realised we were now in mid-air. I quickly grabbed hold of it and Sprigatito as I began to fall.
But just as I thought I was going to crash into the group, a Charizard swooped past and saved us and flew up high.
I opened my eyes to see we were in Charizard's arms, and that riding it was that guy from before with the white hair!
"Hey you two, try not to be so reckless!" He exclaimed, goggled over his eyes.
I then realised that I had kind of thought of my Sprigatito as reckless, too, and felt bad for it.
"That being said, I gotta admit I like your courage!" He added as he took off the goggles and smiled.
I took hold tightly and then looked into Sprigatito's eyes. This whole experience was so scary, but it also meant I had gotten to spend more time with my new partner!
Then I heard the clock tower began to ring while I had been in deep thought, and then Charizard's trained turned to look at the three people below us.
He said something I couldn't quite remember, but then he told Charizard to fly off, and I remember me and Sprigatito screaming as we got higher up.
We began flying through the night sky, and the mysterious guy had told me to hold on tight. Sprigatito tapped me on the cheek and then looked away.
The two of us looked forward to see the big, glowing moon. It was now so close to us, and it made me think how brave I had been to even get to this point.
All because I had my partner by my side!
I reached out once more, and this time the moon was almost in reach then the first time I had tried, and it made me really happy...

We continued flying and I couldn't help but think, had this all been a dream? Like, what I had just been through isn't normally something that would happen to most people, right?
But then I had realised that I was just being carried off by this random person I don't even know. Just because he saved me, doesn't mean I should fully trust him, and that made me panic.
I asked if he could drop me off but he didn't quite hear and continued flying. I tried to repeat myself but then I looked forward to see an airship.
This must be the one Ann had been talking about.
He explained to me it was called The Brave Olivine and that he lived on it, which was hard to believe. He then said something on his Rotom Phone and suddenly whst had looked liked wings on the airship turned into a battlefield.
Charizard flew down and a blue light surrounded it as landed, as if it had been s protection dome. He hopped off of his ride pokémon's back and it left go of us.
Sprigatito hopped out of my arms and I thanked Charizard for flying us all the way here.
Then, two people walked up to us. One was big and muscular with black and grey hair while the other was shorter and skinnier with short, pink hair.
A Rockruff joined us too and began playing with my Sprigatito, which was cute to see.
The first person I had described walked up to the white haired guy and gave him a fist bump, which then turned into a weird handshake. The other than walked up to me and asked if I was Liko, so I said yes and asked how all of them know me.
The pink haired girl's eyes widened in shock and then facepalmed herself before mumbling somethingunder her breath, turning to the guy with white hair.
"Have you seriously not told this kid anything?!" She asked him in an annoyed tone.
"Uhhh... did I forget?" He asked me.
I nodded in reply because I still didn't understand if all of these people surrounding me were trustworthy yet.
"Wait, what did you do to get her here?!" The man asked.
"Friede!" The girl exclaimed.
I then put together in my mind that the white haired guy must be called Friede then.
After watching in confusion, I then looked down to see a Pawmi and Fuecoco running towards us, both looking very excited.
I bent down and watched them with a smile on my face, as pokémon made me feel so happy. I then looked up and asked what pokémon from Paldea were doing here if we were in Kanto.
The man explained that the two had joined the airship during their travels and then pointed over to the other pokémon aboard too. There was a Snorunt, Noctowl and even a Shuckle!
I stood up straight and realised that all the pokémon here looked happy, which must mean that this place is safe. And maybe, I can trust Friede and the others...
The pink haired girl then apologised and then introduced herself as Mollie. The man then introduced himself as Murdock and that he is the trainer of Rockruff.
I watched as Sprigatito tapped Rockruff's tail snd a glow green light appeared around it and then Pawmi and Fuecoco joined too, I was glad it had made some friends.
I gasped out of how cute it was but then knew I had to get answers so I pushed the thought aside.
I was about to ask a question but then Friede's Rotom Phone appeared at it was making a noise that didn't sound good. He then announced that there would be "guests" coming.
Mollie tried to ask who it was but Friede interrupted her question and told everyone to head to the bridge.
Friede told Noctowl to keep a look out so it flew to its post. Murdock tried to ask what was going on but the white-haired guy continued to ignore the question and told him to keep a look out while Mollie would have to take care of me.
Murdock agreed but then Mollie announced someone called Orla was freaking out about the storm coming. Friede said he would come and help so he walked off with Charizard following behind him.
I was really annoyed that he wouldn't answer any of my questions, and I knew I needed to get answers and learn more about the situation.

We watched as the lift was coming but then the power went out. I was still so confused and scared while Mollie mumbled angrily about it.
I then decided now would be a great time to ask some questions so I asked Mollie what I was doing here, but then we heard Noctowl squawk outside. We ran over and looked out of the window to see that they were coming.
I told her how I thought the people were suspicious and for whatever reason they wanted my pendant, but she was too busy looking out of a telescope to see how far away they were.
She said "The Explorers" were coming and then Murdock who had been listening on the Rotom Phone gasped in shock.

Friede was trying to fly the airship away from The Explorers but they were coming in close and Mollie was worrying. I was just sat in worry with the pokémon beside me as we watched this all play out, unsure of what to do.
She asked if Orla could make the airship go faster but she was struggling. But then it was announced we were heading straight into the thunderstorm!
Murdock began shouting about how that was a bad idea but he replied saying that would be the only way to get them away, and that this was "perfect" weather today. I couldn't tell if he was joking or being real.
Mollie sighed and said we all gad to depend on Orla, which made her joke about how there was no pressure at all, but agreed to help.
The airship suddenly began gaining speed as it headed towards the storm.
Mollie continued watching from the window and thought that once they were out of sight that they would just go home and I realised how there was now more rain and strikes of lightning.
I then noticed how they were trying to break through the blue light which must be a protection dome and informed the pink haired girl, who then announced it to Friede who sounded really suprised.
Mollie announced she would sort out the thing herself which confused me until I saw he pull open the doors. She then marched out of the room and I was just full of shock she was brave enough to do such a thing.

Then I saw the three break through the protection dome and my instant reaction to thus situation is that, I must be the main character of the story!
The three villains then began marching upstairs and I watched as all of the pokémon began hiding and quivering. I wanted to comfort them but I had no idea what to do until I realised... it's all my fault.
If it wasn't for me, they would gave been safe. If it wasn't for me, Friede and the others would have been safe. By being here, I brought danger, and so I had to fix the situation.
The three then arrived at the doorway with the mysterious one walking up to me. Sprigatito growled fiercely but couldn't really do anything help.
"Why did you run away?" Thwy asked in a sinister voice.
"I-i don't know, but-" I stuttered.
"But you do think you can trust the people on this airship?" They asked.
"I don't know," I mumbled.
"Your pendant, what was that light?" They asked.
"I don't know that either," I responded.
"You're full of things you don't know, aren't you?" They asked.
"I guess," I mumbled, "But I do know one thing..."
"Oh?" They said.
"I sure can't trust you, not in the slightest!" I said.
Sprigatito had gotten tired of standing by so then jumped to attack the three people, only to then caught on the back of the neck by the lady. I began panicking and told them to stop it...
And if it was the pendant they wanted, then they can have it as long as they don't hurt my pokémon.
The black and white haired person told there colleague to put down Sprigatito, and she immediately did so. The Grass Cat Pokémon immediately came running to me and I hugged it tightly, glad it was safe.
The leader then explained that at first their main target was just the pendant, but it seems the piece of jewellery had a secret and that it has something to do with me, which is strange. They then explained I would have to come with them.
I looked back at the pokémon who still seemed so scared and then realised saying yes would be the best option, and would then keep them safe.
I reluctantly decided to come with them, so I stood up and then turned around to reassure the pokémon that it would be fine now, although they continued to squirm and were now more worried for my safety.
So, we walked out of the room and down the stairs. The three were so close to me that it was really uncomfortable, but my thoughts were only of that I had done a good deed, and everything would be fine now.
But as we were walking across the battlefield, Mollie had poked her head over and saw me with them and then began shouting my name. Once she had gotten back onto the battlefield, she then looked up to see Friede riding on Charizard, they were hurtilng down to stop the situation.
They landed down and immediately he told Mollie to go back and protect the pokémon, which she agreed to and ran back.
The man and lady got there poké balls out ready but the leader told them to stop and that the would handle it, which lead me to scream out to Friede it was fine.
"You can relax!" He called, "I won't let anything happen to you and Sprigatito!"
It was then I realised that he was trying to save me again, but I still didn't fully understand why.
Friede then asked thr group if they were apart of The Explorers, which lead to the leader introducing themselves as Amethio.
Phew- finally they introduced their name! I don't have to keep on thinking of adjectives to describe them by now.
Anyway, Friede introduced himself and said that he was the leader of The Rising Voltacklers, which I'm assuming is the group on this airship.
The two began throwing insults back and forth and arguing until Amethio asked if they should continue the battle from earlier, which Friede agreed to, returning Charizard which is confusing because you would think he would use the same pokémon again.
He announced that he would be using the Pikachu that was wearing a captain's hat would battle instead, and that Amethio would be using Ceruledge again.
They also announced they wouldn't be doing any real attack, which was odd...
But anyway, Pikachu started off the battle with Thunder punch, but Ceruledge used its fiery blades to dodge the attack.
Friede then commanded that the next attack which was Double team, which caused Pikachu to multiply into fake clones and circle the Fire Blades Pokémon, and then all charge at once.
Amethio then finally decided to do something and told Ceruledge to use Psycho cut, which ended up wiping out ALL of the Pikachus.
It was then that the real Pikachu snuck up from behind and tried to use Thunder punch, but failed and Ceruledge then ended up using Bitter blade which cut through Pikachu, but I thought that was one real.
Friede stared at Amethio smugly and it was then revealed that Pikachu had been on top of the airship the whole time, but how?
Anyway, Pikachu then gathered up the electricity from the lighting, which caused a blinding yellow light. After I had shielded my eyes away, I then looked up in shock to see the Electric Mouse Pokémon glowing in electricity!
I must admit, this is the strongest Pikachu I've ever seen!
Friede then commanded it to use Volt tackle. So it jumped down from the top of the airship and down the stairs with the electricity surrounding it getting stronger even when it started hitting Ceruledge.
The opponent's pokémon trued to use its blades to block, but Pikachu continued hitting until it began pushing it towards the edge.
Amethio, who was as shocked as I was, then commanded for their pokémon to use Psycho cut. But the impact Ceruledge was receiving was too much and so ended up losing balance and the move fired in the wrong direction, hitting around the area Mollie was hiding in.
I gasped because I still seemed to continue causing chaos even though I was just a bystander of the battle, I knew I couldn't let this continue...
"Stop it!" I shouted and began walking towards the two, "Please stop!"
Both of the trainers and their pokémon stopped to hear what I had to say, which I was glad about since I really needed someone to listen to me for once.
"I just... I don't want to cause you any more problems!" I announced.
"Huh? What are you saying exactly?" Friede asked.
I then explained how I don't want anyone else getting hurt because of me, and as I did I watched Mollie walk out of the door with pokémon and lots of dust following behind her.
Amethio then told him how I didn't want his help, which isn't exactly what I was trying to get at.
I then added that I'm sure Sprigatito feels the same way as me, and I began stroking its head, but I soon found out it didn't and it jumped free from my arms, causing me to fall backwards.
Sprigatito then began meowing at me, but I didn't fully understand why at the time, until I looked deep into its eyes, and then fully understood, which lead to tears forming in my eyes.
Sprigatito then turned away and began meowing at Amethio and Ceruledge. So when they started walking towards my partner, I quickly got up and stood behind it.
"Use Leafage!" I shouted.
Sprigatito jumped up and then blasted a green beam of leafs from its tuft of fur. The big attack was approaching on Amethio but then Ceruledge slid in front and blocked it, the hundreds of leaves surrounding the protection dome.
"You did it Sprigatito!" I exclaimed as I watched Sprigatito jumped through the air, I was so proud of it.
The other two tried sending out their Skarmories to dodge the attack but it didn't work and soon after the leaves ended up breaking the protection dome and they blew away.
The windy weather was too much and I fell over and so did my partner, but because Sprigatito was so small, it began blowing away. I tried to catch it but my hand slipped and Friede was more focused on saving me.
I felt helpless as Sprigatito fell off the edge and when Amethio grabbed it while riding on their Corviknight and flew away with the others.
"Sprigatito!" I cried, tears beginning to spill down my cheeks, "SPRIGATITO!!!"

Fun fact: When Amethio's design was first revealed, he gave me very non binary vibes and I was hoping that he would be non binary. So when it was revealed he is male, I was sad but didn't let it destroy my headcanon
I don't think Liko would immediately assume someone's gender or pronouns anyway but throughout this story, I will be referring to Amethio with they/them pronouns
