Now that Archie knew about the lost boy, he had to put some time into finding him. He was trying to think of places kids would hang out. The first thing to come to Archie's mind was the park. He tried to get his owner to bring him there, but that wasn't working. So he left on his own.

It took a while to get there and lots of people stopped to pet him. When Archie got there, he didn't know where to start. He sniffed a few thing and dug a hole. Then he found something. It was a ripped piece of ripped dirty cloth. Archie had the sent. Now he had to follow it.

This was a little harder than he thought. Archie went in a few circles, ran into some dead ends, and even ended up almost walking into a pond. Through it all, Archie was still going to find that kid. Even though the families didn't know each other he felt like he had to find the boy.

Then he started to get some were. he followed the sent to a small shack in the wooded part of town. The door was open a crack, so Archie went in. There were animal heads on the walls, and a case full of guns in the corner. The sent of another dog was every were. Archie didn't think it was safe in the shack. 

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw something on the couch. It was the same cloth from the park. The boy had been in the shack. Archie heard something... this scared him. Archie ran and hid behind a small chair. A tall man with a beard came in. By his side was a big black dog. Archie bolted. He didn't look back, he didn't want to.
