Alcyone laid in bed and thought about what happened today. She was happy to be Chris's girlfriend. She loved him for a long time, and it was so exciting to her.

"Alcyone honey! Time for dinner!" her mother called from the kitchen. "OK mom! Im coming!" she called. Just then her phone buzzed. It was Chris.

C: hey babe

A: hey wats up?

C: nothin. missin u

A: awww i miss u too

C: 2day was crazy huh?

A: insane. tatiana can b a bitch

C: dont worry about her. Shes a crazy skank

A: lolz hey ill ttyl. mom wants me for dinner

C: cool. ill ttyl. see ya

A: bye bye :D

Alcyone smiled and put down her phone. "This is really happening" she thought. She was falling for him so hard, and this was only day 1.

She ran down the stairs and took a seat. Her brother Simeon was already seated. He was a sophmore in high school. "How was school Aly?" he asked. "It was fine SIms. I gotta tell you something later." she replied. "Cool." he said.

Their mom sat down with the mac and cheese." Alright. We are ready to feast!" she said heartily. Both the children laughed. They all dug in.

Betsy (the mom) put some food on the plate and started eating. "So how was school?" she asked them. "School was fine for me. Im finally the captain on the varsity team mom." Simeon said. "Oh honey! Im so proud of you!" she said. "Congrats bro!" Acyone said.

Betsy asked Alcyone how her school day was. She went on to tell her that she was dating the most popular boy in school, but wanted to wait and tell her brother first.

"School was great for me!" Alcyone said. Betsy raised her eyebrow and smiled. "Aly, I havent seen you this happy in days!" she said. "Well, I just let some things slide past me, now im happier than ever!" she said

"Im happy for my baby!" she said happily. Alcyone just simply smiled and ate. She ate slowly and her brother looked at his cheerful sister.

"Aly, you're really not eating. What's up?" her brother asked

"Nothin! Im fine!" she said smiling. She couldnt wait to tell her brother about her new relationship.

"Mom can I be excused? I have a heavy work load tonight." Alcyone said. "Alright honey. Dont work yourself too hard." her mother said

"I wont mom. See ya!" she said as she dashed from the table. "What was that all about?" Simeon asked.

 "I dont have a clue." her mother said puzzled.

*After dinner*

Simeon walked upstairs to Alcyones room. He knocked andshe let him in.

"What is going on with you?! Who lit a fire under your butt?" he asked.

THey both sat down on the rug and she smilied. "Christopher Vasquez." she said happily.

"What?! That asshole in your grade. I thought you said he was a jackass." he said

"He was....but today...i dont know, he confessed his love for me, and it seemed so genuine. I mean, we used to talk, but it wouldnt be about nothin. Then out of the blue, he says that he likes me in front of everyone. He practically sabatoshed his whole rep just to be with me." she said

"I dont know Aly. He better not hurt you. If he does...."

"He wont Sim! He promised." she said back

";Alright. But if he does something to you let me know. Hes old enough to get his ass beat." Simeon said warning her.

"Thanks Sim. You're the best brother I could ever have." she said hugging her brother. He smiled and got up.

"You know, this is the first time you've came home happy. I guess he is doing SOMETHING right." he said before walking out the door. Alcyone smiled and fell on the bed. Her phone buzzed again.

C: hey. miss u like crazy

A: miss u too

C: did u tell ur peeps?

A: yea. their glad to see me happy for the first time

C: i am too. u deserve it

A: *blush* thx

C: see u tomarow?

A: definately

C: sweet dreams beautiful

A: thx good night

Alcyone put her phone on the charger and went to bed. She couldnt wait for tommorow.
