7th Grade Advanced Math

My friends and i were sitting and waiting for the bell to ring, and they were looking at soem girls in the classroom.

"Hey man what about Alyssa" Mark asked

"No way man. Shes to tall. Shes boring too. Everytime I talk to her I hear crickets." Ryan said

"Whatever dude. Shes hot to me. Im asking her out today." Mark said

"What about you Chris" Mark asked

My eyes immediately went to Alcyone. She was smart, funny and had sexy curves. Everytime I talked to her my face lit up. She wasnt popular, but I didnt care. She was the only girl that caught my eye.

"Alcyone.....I want Alcyone." I whispered

My friends gave me a "What the fuck dude look."-"Man are you brain-dead?! That girl is a fuckin lame! She wears glasses and shes way too thick. Eww!" Mark said

"Come on Mark. Thats who he adores. The most popular guy in 7th grade wants to hook up with a freak." Ryan shot at me.

"She's not a freak! I like her and shes the girl that Ive always wanted. I like my girls to be funny, smart, and well-natured. Shes way different than these other girls. I know the difference between ugly and sexy and she is an angel." I smiled.

"Whatever dude. You're crazy. But if thats what you want, go and get her." Mark said

"Thanks man. Im gonna go now." I said nervously

I slowly got up and walked to where she was sitting. She was talking to her best friends Alyssa and Savanna.

When they saw me approching they quieted down

"Hey Chris." Savanna said

"Hey guys." i said back

"Whats up?" Alyssa asked

I looked down and blushed. " I actually came over here for Alcyone. I wanted to ask her something" I said

Alcyone looked down quickly and blushed

"Alcyone...."

"Yes Chris?"

"I was wondering.....if you...wanted to go out with me.

Alcyone looked at me and blinked. Her friends looked at her.

"You mean just as friends or....?" she asked anxiously

"No....I want you.....to be my girlfriend." I said

By then the whole class was staring at me. "Ive liked you for a long time Alcyone. I think you're smart, funny, kind, and beautiful. I love everything about you. I wouldnt want you to change anything for anyone, because i think youre special just the way you are. I want you to be mine Alcyone."

"I'm shocked Chris. What am I supposed to say? I never thought you felt that way." she said blushing

But she had a point. What was she suppoed to say? I was pouring my heart out to the least popular girl in the 7th grade in front of everyone. I want her to say yes.

"Please say yes." I begged

She looked at me with those beautiful hazel eyes. "Ye-ye-yes Chris. Ill be your girlfriend." she said embarassed.

We both looked down and smiled. The bell rand and it was time for English. I held out my hand.

"Walk to English together?" I said shyly

"Sure." she said smiling.

I helped her with her books and walked towards my friends

"You know your rep is shattered right?" Mark said

"Yea I know. And I dont care. I feel popular when Im with her. I really dont care. I just want to be with her ya know?" I said back.

"You're a brave dude Vasquez. A brave dude." Ryan said

"Thanks man" I said patting him on the back. I walked back to the girl of my dreams and grabbed her hand. 

"Ready to go?" I asked

"Yeah." she said smiling
