《Hinata》

"Naruto-kunn..." I called him with tears started to pour down on my cheeks. "You're alive..." I saw him smiled a bit along with a shrug. "Wait for me there, okay!"

He replied me only with a nod and like usual he obeyed me by waiting at the garden of my house like a statue.

I grabbed my hoodies from the couch opposite of my bed then swiftly ran towards downstairs to see the love of my life.

God, I am so happy that he's alive.

I really thought that our friends killed him back then.

I sneakily went outside of the house from the main door so anyone in my house wouldn't notice it, especially my father and Neji. They might be killed Naruto right away if the ever did see him.

There he was, Naruto Uzumaki who was standing right behind of the bird fountain in the house garden. I saw him was playing with the water inside and looked so focus with it.

Oh, and his orange hoodie was full with red liquid on his left side chest.

Wait, is that b-blood?

N-naruto-kun is b-bleeding??

My heart skipped beat as saw him smiling while playing the water in the fountain. Furthermore, his face was no that pale anymore, I could see it turned to be pinkish, especially at the both of his cheeks and lips too.

He's turning back to life!

I knew it, those zombies weren't dead, they were just....infected. They lived in their own world, just like us...humans. Except for that eerie creature we called, the skully.

"H-hin...." His sudden snapped me a bit. He was about to say my name which made my eyes went teary all of sudden. Naruto was staring at me, his blue eyes were different too, they looked lively to be exact.

"Oh Naruto-kun," without hesitation, I went towards him then hugged him tightly. "I love you so much...I'm so glad that you're actually alive," I said while sobbing in his hug.

"D-don't c-cry..."he hardly said it.

I released the hug, and put a small smile for him, "I'm sorry, it's just I'm so happy for you."

He shrugged, then curved a smile with his eyes never left mine.

I grabbed his hand when heard the patrol jeep's engine came near both of us. He might be dead for sure if someone see him, especially my cousin and my dad. "Come, Naruto-kun," I said to him, staring into his beautiful eyes. "Follow me, we need to hide you."

He didn't say anything and just obeyed me into the house. But we just forgot one small thing....

"O-oh MY GOD!!!" a loud girl's voice came from the upstairs as soon as we entered the front door. And the owner is of course, my bestie, Sakura Haruno. "Na-Naru-to...how come he is here? What if...."

"That's why I need your help to hide him," I cut her in. "Please, Sakura...I just can't lose him anymore." I begged for her to help me while holding Naruto's big hand.

Sakura sighed, "Fine....first thing first, we need to clean him up. He's stink, I can smell it from here."

I giggled, "Come Naruto-kun," I gently pulled his hand and guided him towards upstairs.

Sakura and I briefed him how to use the bidet, shower and even to take off his clothes. Luckily, he didn't....umm you know strip straight away when Sakura asked him to do so. His looked so in shocked when both of us were screaming when he was about to take off his dirty shirt and pants. The scared Naruto swiftly went behind of my wardrobe and hid himself behind of it while hugging himself.

He was totally like a kid.

"Hey, don't be scared," I crouched in front of him, trying to comfort him again so he would not be scared with both of us. "Come, let me help you. I promise, you will like it...." I offered him my hand so he could grab it.

He stared me with his beautiful lively eyes, then slowly accepted my offer by grabbing my hand. Naruto stood on his feet once again with my help then I guided him to the bathroom once again so he would take a shower. He obeyed me when I asked him to take off his clothes, of course I asked him to do so behind of the curtain.

"Take a shower first, okay? Get rid all of the dirt on your body. Here's the soap and shampoo." I said to him and gave him a briefing on how to use the soap and shampoo. "I'll come to get you again when you're done, okay?"

"O-K..." he replied behind of the curtain.

"Good boy,"

A few minutes later, I went into the bathroom again to check on him. Surprisingly, he already went out from the shower with the towel wrapped around his waist properly. That blond hair guy looked just like human and so clean. He looked so handsome just like the old days.

He smiled, "O-O-K?" he hardly said out a loud.

I noticed that there were some scars around his body, especially the bullet scar where Neji shot him that day. It looked like it was still bleeding.

I smiled back while offering my hand for him, "Let me get you treated first, okay?"

He shrugged, the thing that he always did whenever I asked him. Naruto took my hand and I brought him out from the bathroom where Sakura was waiting for us on my bed with the clothes she took from somewhere.

"Whoa..." Sakura seemed shocked when saw Naruto-kun. "How can it be?" She then turned to me, asking for some explanation which I didn't know the answers too.

"I have no idea too," I said to her, making the clueless blond to sit on my bed. I gently wiped his wet messy hair meanwhile for Sakura, she treated the bullet wound on his chest. Luckily, it was easier to get rid off the bullet since the bullet was not deep enough. Besides, I noticed his face was cringed a bit when Sakura pulled it out of his chest as if like he was in pain.

I quickly put the medicine on and bandaged it properly before asked him to put the olive color shirt on.

"Where did you get the clothes, anyway?" I asked Sakura.

She winked, "From Sasuke's closet of course."

I giggled, "Hopefully, he wouldn't notice that."

"Yea, I hope that so," she agreed. "Or I might get scold by him again."

"Thank you so much, Sakura...." I thanked her. "I didn't know what would happen without you help."

"No, problem..." she replied along with a smile. "He's my friend too, anyway. Right, Naruto?" she patted hard on Naruto's shoulder and as usual he just replied us with a shrug. "One more thing, should I tell about him to them?"

"Maybe..." I replied her.

"Hi-hin....skully," he tried to speak out.

I knitted my eyebrow a bit as trying to process what he wanted to say to me. "What is it, Naruto-kun?"

"S-skully..." he hardly said the eerie creature's name. "Kill...you."

I widened my eyes as heard the 'kill' word.

"Oh God, Hinata..." Sakura sounded surprised too. "What should we do?"

"Skully...c-coming..."

"They are coming here?" I asked him for the confirmation.

He nodded twice as the answer.

"We need to tell about it to your dad," Sakura suggested.

"B-but...what about him?" I asked.

"Hinata," Sakura patted my shoulder. "Just take a look at him...he looks so much like us right? I believe that you can convince your dad and change his opinion about zombie."

I turned to take a look at Naruto, he just sat on the bed with his eyes never left mine. "Fine, I'll see what I can do."

"F-friends...w-wait," he suddenly grabbed my arm.

"Friends?" I tried to understand what he was trying to say. "Do you mean, G? He is waiting for you?"

He nodded again, "A-a-all of f-friends...."

"Whoa...this is big, Hinata," Sakura interrupted. "Just go, convince your father. I'll tell Sasuke and them too."

"Okay," I agreed with them. "Meet you at the base...."

《Naruto》

Hinata gave me the clothes and as far as I remembered, that pink hair girl named Sakura stole it from a guy named, Sasuke. I did remember that name, they are my friends, my closest friends to be exact. Sakura suggested to Hinata to explain everything to her dad about me, changing into human again. And I promise to give my best to help her to do so.

I followed the beautiful girl from behind to somewhere called, the base. There were so many soldiers there and the security was so tight. There was a soldier who guarded in front of a room, and Hinata was trying her best to convince him in order to meet her dad. The soldier kept staring at me, but I just acted normal by smiling at him none stop.

That was what human did, right? Smiling...

"What's wrong with your friend, Hinata?" I heard him whispered that to Hinata and she seemed to be holding her laughter when turned to look at me. Maybe there was something on my face or something, but whatever. "Is he sick or something?" he asked again.

Hinata slid her hand down to my right hand so she could intertwined her hand with mine, "Nah...he's just love to smile. Come, Naruto..." she replied then walked towards the room with me following from behind.

"Daddy..." I heard her called for a guy with brown hair who was wearing a military cap as soon as we entered the room, full with guns and other weapons. I was dumbfounded when saw it all...especially the AK type one, the gun who they usually used to kill my kind.

"Hinata, what are you doing here?" the brown hair guy replied. He then approached both of us with the gun was hanging on the gun slot on his right waist, making me swallowed hard when saw it.

"I need to tell you something," she continued.

"Wait," he said, with his eyes stared at me in so damn scary the hell out of me. "How did he come into here..."he grabbed my shirt collar and hardly pushed me against the closest rack with his Desert Eagle pointed straight to my head.

"Daddy, no please...." Hinata tried to stop him by grabbing his arm. "Don't shoot him..." I could see she was actually crying while begging for her father to stop.

I think I should say something, maybe it will help me to convince him, "S-sir..." I still need to work out with my communication skill. "P-please...d-don't s-sh-shoot."

The brown hair man seemed surprised when heard my words. His eyes which has the same color as Hinata's were widened. "H-how can he talk?"

"He's different, daddy," Hinata sobbed. "We're all mistaken about their species..."

Hinata's father turned to his daughter then back to me. "No...he's one of them. Nothing can change it. Zombie is zombie...the brain eater creature. Just get away, Hinata. I need to shoot him before he hurt somebody else...."

"No!!!! Please!!!!" Hinata cried.

I closed my eyes tightly, waiting for him to pull the Dessert Eagle trigger. I will completely dead for sure if he shoot me straight in the head. It was the only way for us to die and never come back.

"I'm sorry, sir," a male voice suddenly interrupted us. "Don't shoot him...or you will be dead as well." I knew him, he's my friend, Sasuke. He was the last person I saw before I turned to be the living dead.

"Hinata, take him away," he added while still pointing the gun straight to her father's head. "Run...I'll take care of him."

"Thanks, Sasuke-kun..." Hinata thanked him. "Come Naruto..." she grabbed my arm so I would follow her.

"T-th-thanks t-te-me..." I hardly said to my friend and his eyes were glimmering as there were tears formed as if like he was about to cry.

"GO!!!" he shouted.

"Come Naruto-kun..." Hinata grabbed my arm then dragged me along with her away from the base where the emergency alarm filled the whole base, making all the soldiers ran around the base with the rifles on their hands.

"Code 556!!! Code 556!!!"

"Zombie ATTACK....GO GO GO....!"

"Oh no, we should be quick before they find us..." she said worriedly.

"Hinata..." for the first time I managed to call her with her full name. "Follow me...I-I know where to go. Friends...w-wait for us t-there..."

She looked me straight in the eyes, as if like she was startled with my sudden improvement. "Naruto-kun..."

I smiled to her, "Believe me, Hinata." I grabbed her hand then brought her to the secret entrance where I used before to enter into this human camp.

We ran as fast as we could, with my hand never let go off the grip of her hand. I have to make sure that she will always be safe and that skully will never touch her either.

We arrived at the basement parking lot under a huge old building of shopping mall and there were G with my other friends waiting for both of us. I was surprised too, all of my kind were here too joining us against skullies and to protect my love, Hinata.

"G..." I was so glad to meet him again. "T-thank you..."

G shrugged. "F-friends..."

I smiled, "Friends."

"G-go N..." G said. "W-we s-skully..."

I nodded, "M-meet...later."

"Go m-miss," G hardly said to Hinata who seemed so much in shocked.

She looked up to me with her teary eyes and I comforted her by holding her hand tightly. "I p-promise to keep y-you s-safe."

She smiled, "Thank you, Naruto-kun."

The skullies' voice filled the whole building, screaming as loud as they could, as the sign they were here. And their voice sounded like they were so close to us which made us to leave this place as soon as possible.

"Come, let's go...." I said to her.

We were at the highest level of the building and there was nowhere to run anymore. The ocean was just below as and I was not sure if we will survive from the falling. It was too high and very risk for her.

Skully were right behind us and I didn't want her to get injured too. But that is okay...she will be safe as long as she is with me even though I have to sacrifice myself.

"What should we do, Naruto-kun?" She asked me in scared.

I stared into her beautiful eyes, "Do you trust me?"

She nods, "Of course, I do."

I grabbed her waist then pulled her closer into my arms, "I love you, Hinata...." That were the last words I said before made my mind to jump off from the building into the sea down there with her. I made sure I would not let my grip off and even made my body as a pillow for her so she would not hurt when fell into the ocean if there was rock or something.

《Hinata》

He never let go of his grip as we were falling from the rooftop, not until both of us fell hard into the ocean when he received the big impact against the stone caused by the falling from the high rise. I swam to the surface as quick as possible to catch my breath before went back into the water to save him.

I saw him sinking down in the ocean with the water turned red as there was blood coming out from his head caused by the impact. I swam straight to him then grabbed his hand to pull him closer to me. He seemed unconscious when I cupped his face and he was not breathing too. I knew everyone said zombies did not breathe, but he was different. He was alive for sure. I pressed my lips against him, so I could gave him a quick CPR inside of the water before went back to the surface. It was just because he has been in here for too long, and might be drowning too.

Both of us managed went back to the surface as I swam back to the shore while dragging the unconscious Naruto with me. "Naruto-kun..." I patted both of his cheeks. "Wake up, please...." Then leaned down to him, by resting my head on his chest, trying to make sure his heart was beating. He once said there was something beating inside of his chest too before, so I wanted to make sure his heart was still beating or not.

"Come on....please, open your eyes," I said while giving him another CPR, so he could gain his conscious back.

*coughs*

His eyes finally opened and he was actually coughing like the ordinary human. Naruto sat back on the sand right in front of me with the cringes on his face.

"Oh my God," I said in relief. "I really thought you were dead," then hugged him again, tightly.

He hugged me back, "I already promise you right? To keep you safe..."

I released the hug, "Thank you, Na-..," but stopped when noticed his corneas changed to be like the normal eyes; they were no longer looked like a living dead eyes to be exact. "Your eyes..."

Naruto-kun suddenly pulled me closer to him, then slowly leaned his head until his warm lips pressed against mine. He kissed me so tenderly and it was not for long when heard footsteps suddenly approached both of us.

"Get...away...from him, Hinata," I turned to my backside and saw my dad with his men pointed their guns towards our direction. "Neji, take her..."

"No!!!" I shouted. "Don't Neji, please...." I couldn't do anything about it when Neji forcefully dragged me away from Naruto. "Daddy, just look at him. He's alive...please, just please take a look at him for awhile." I begged to my father.

"Ready...." But he just ignored me as usual.

"NOOO!!!" I shouted out aloud. "Naruto-kun!!!" I saw he was just standing there silently, with both of his eyes closed as if like he accepted his fate to die in my father's hand.

"NOO Hiashi, stopped!!!" A male voice suddenly interrupted. "Don't you dare shoot my son!" A man with blond hair approached my father and his army with a red hair woman was following him from behind. "That's my son for god sake."

"Oh Naruto....my baby is alive," the red hair woman ran towards Naruto's direction and hugged him tightly.

"Mom..." Naruto said to Aunty Kushina with teary eyes.

Neji released his grip from me, "She spoke the truth, uncle," he said to my father. "Naruto Uzumaki is actually alive..."

"Yo!!!" There was someone shouting from the old building while waving his hand at us. "Y-you okay, N?" He was none other than, Naruto-kun's friend, G. I guessed he managed to stop the skullies from attacking us. That was good though.

My father looked at Naruto then to Naruto's friends from the building, "I guess, you're right, my daughter. I'm sorry for not trusting you before,"

I smiled widely when heard my father's word, "Thank you, daddy," I gave him a quick hug. "Thank you so much for believing in me."

He cleared his throat, "Come, let's go home..."

Naruto and his parents walked closer to us, and without I couldn't do anything Aunty Kushina already pulled me into a hug, "Thank you for bringing back my son, Hinata. I owe you so much..."

"You're welcome, Aunty," I replied her. "No, you didn't owe me anything, Aunty. I was the one who owe to your son for saving my life, twice, right Naruto-kun?"

And as usual, he just replied me with a shrug then curved a smile on his lips.

"I'm sorry for letting Toneri shot you, Naruto," I heard Neji apologized to that blond guy.

He shrugged, once more, "T-thanks..."

"Wait, why are you thanking me?" Neji asked in confused.

He shrugged once more as a reply, making the three of us burst out of laughter.

At the base....

"I'm glad that you're back, dobe," Sasuke gave Naruto a quick hug after Sakura treated his wound on his head. Luckily it wasn't too serious or he might be dead again.

"Yeay, thanks for your help too, teme," he replied with a smile. "You too, Sakura...."

"You're welcome, Naruto..." Sakura replied with a smile. "Let me run one last test for you, okay, Naruto?"

He looked at me then back to Sakura, "Okay then..."

Sakura took a special device which its function to check whether someone was infected or not and how percent the infection was, and used it to Naruto by scanning his corneas.

"Amazing," she said. "The device showed you have zero percent infection. You're free from it, Naruto."

"That's very a good news," I said, grabbing his hand and planted a kiss on it. "What about Toneri, Sasuke? Did you find him?" I asked Sasuke about the grey hair man who seemed to be missing from the base. I never saw him again after he shot Naruto but that was good though. He might not be able to hurt Naruto and me again after this.

Days later,

I heard the news all the soldiers managed to kill skully who were trying to attack our camp area. Some of them might still alive and ran away from the area as far as they could since the humans and Naruto's friends were together to go against them. Besides, my father as the leader of the village decided to take down the wall which separated us from the forgotten city and our camp. It might be easier for the humans to contact with Naruto's other friends in order for us to treat them from the infection.

Naruto and I went to the tower which situated near to the wall. I never let go of his hand and so did him, enjoying the scenery of the forgotten city in front of us from the high rise tower.

"You know," he started the conversation.

"About what?" I asked him while resting my head on his shoulder.

"I was planning to confess to you that day," he continued. "But a zombie attacked me out of nowhere which made me lose the chance to do that. I have been crushing for you from the first day we met at the school, Hinata...you always made my heart skipped its beat whenever we met but I have no guts to tell you about my true feeling. So, I want to let you know now, that I love you so much, Hinata Hyuga...."

I looked at him with teary eyes, never expected that he finally confessed his feelings to me, "I love you too, Naruto-kun. I'm sorry for what you have been through after all this years. I'm so glad that you're finally back with us again."

He caressed my right cheek gently, with his beautiful ocean blue eyes were gazing into mine and slowly leaned closer until our lips pressed against with each other. Our kissed wasn't last long as the loud bang startled us as the bomb detonated to bring down the wall in front of us.

"Let's start a new life together, Hinata," he said while looking at me with his beautiful eyes along with a smile curved on his lips.

"Let's do that...together," I replied along with a smile then rest my head back on his shoulder while watching the wall detonated by my father's men.
