Chapter 9

《Naruto》

"S-skully...kill...you," G hardly told me as both of us were walking together in front with our other friends behind us to find Hinata.

I turned to look at him, "K-kill me?"

He nodded several times.

"W-why?" I asked him.

He shrugged. "T-that girl....S-skully want it."

"H-her..." I corrected him as a flash of memory about her played in my mind. "I...Love...Her."

G suddenly stopped his face as he heard my words. He then stared me with his dead eyes, with his head tilted a bit; maybe trying to figure out what I just said to him.

His dead eyes were both on me and we were practically staring at each other for several minutes.

"L-love?" He finally broke the silence.

I nodded along with the thing that Hinata called 'smile'.

"T-that?" G hardly asked me with confused. Our other friends joined him too and started to circle us around.

"S-smile...s-she said," hopefully G got me. It was really hard for me to explain to him, well...zombie supposed can't talk, right?

But all of us were different.

Totally different.

"You...see," I told him. "Help....find her, G"

G stared me with his dead eyes, "S-special..." I was surprised when heard that word came from his mouth.

I nodded with my right cheek felt lifted a little, "F-for me." Yea, I smiled again this time and G did the same thing as me.

It wasn't me who the only one changed, my friends too, actually. We finally felt alive again, and maybe one day we could live like the human; back to our origin life, I suppose to say.

I didn't remember for how long we walked towards the human's territory. The wound on my chest still hurt though but I managed to hold it.

I just missed this feel so much, the pain to be exact. I have too many of scars all over my body, but I never felt the pain when I got it. So this was the first time I felt since I turned to be a zombie.

The 'Dub dab' inside of my chest, it was beating so fast. I wasn't sure why but I felt so...weird.

I...I really want to see her again, but what if she didn't want to see me anymore? What if she already changed her mind? And that grey hair guy, what if he stopped me from meeting her again and maybe hurt her.

I don't care if I got hurt as long as she safe. I'll make sure to protect her from that guy and 'Skully.'

I swear.

The big wall could be seen in front of us as we finally arrived at the human territory. I know this was totally the bad idea ever. We could be killed if the human saw us just like this. We stood about 250 metres away from the wall, and there were a medium abandon garden on my right side.

The familiar one to be exact.

Was it...

Some of the memories kept flashed in my mind that made my head skinned so much. Hinata's beautiful face, my friends' face and even my p-parents.

I finally remembered.

I fall down on my knees with the warm liquids started to flow on my cheeks. G ane the rest of our friends just stood behind me and didn't react at all. The just stared me with their dead eyes, maybe wondered what just happened to me.

*Bang*

The huge rock beside me was cracked along with a loud noise coming from in front of us. From the top of the huge wall to be exact.

The loud bang sounded again, but this time, I heard some other noise too, something like the heavy thing fall on the ground.

I was in shocked as soon as I turned to my backside. It was G who was falling, with the bullet wound right on his right chest.

"G!" I crouched beside him and tried to move him away to closer car to hide ourselves from the sniper followed by my other friends.

"Y-you...okay?" I asked for G's condition with worried. There wasn't any red liquid came out from his wound but only the smeely dark liquif. He wasn't like me before but I was sure saw his face cringed a bit as he experienced that feeling.

The pain, I guessed.

"Y-yea. Me, okay." He tried to stand again. "N..." then patted my shoulder while looked at me with his dead eyes. "G-go..."

"N-no..." I protested. "M-me...not l-leave."

"H-her...wait." He stubbornly declined. "Go!"

I was hesitated at first, but I should find Hinata to tell her that she is danger. I stared at my friend for awhile; to make sure he is fine before sneakily went into a small building near to my right side.

I still remember the entrance to get behind the wall. The passage was really clear in my mind. My paces were quick then before and I even managed to walk as....well, more human now. It wasn't like before where I dragged my right leg with my head tilted a bit and also with the 'Grr...' sound that I always made before.

I was so glad;

That I became normal again.

The passage was once underground subway before. I clearly remember it where I used to hang out with my friends here. And this place was where I met Hinata for the first time too long ago.

The beautiful midnight blue hair girl with the familiar girl who has the pink color hair. The old memories kept struck in my head non stop as I passed several places that were familiar to me before I finally reached at the secret entrance into the human city.

The rusty huge door in front of me to be exact.

Hinata...

I'm coming.

The door fell off in instant as I kicked it hard. I still have my zombie power though, which I thought I already lose it since I was in the middle of changing.

"This is it!" I saw the human territory with my own eyes and it was so beautiful inside with the green field in front of me along with the goats and cows which I haven't seen it for ages. There were several people who were working around the field and they seemed so happy as they were doing their jobs.

I put on my hoodie so I could hide my scar-pale face so the human will not notice a zombie in their beautiful territory. Or I might be killed in instant before I could tell Hinata that she is in danger.

I took a deep breath before I walked out from the door and I could smell Hinata's scent even though it was weak.

"She's close..." I murmured to myself and quickly took the right way by following her scent.

Hinata

"Hinata, please eat a little..." Sakura begged for me.

"No thank you," I refused. "I'm not hungry..."

She sighs, "Please don't be like this, Hinata."

"You guys make me feel this way," I rudely replied her without even looking at her face.

"Oh my God, I just can't believe you just said that" Sakura said in disbelief. "So you want to blame to all of us about what happened that day, huh?"

Her words made me speechless. I then grabbed my blanket and covered all over my body as to avoid her eyes contact.

"Fine...just keep being childish, Hinata. I'm outta here!"

I heard the door slammed hard with her footsteps no longer to be hear. She must be really mad at me, but I don't care as she is one of them.

She just watched Naruto been shot.

Oh Naruto-kun...I'm so sorry.

I was so useless...I just couldn't protect you at all.

The wind blew some of my long hair as I was hanging out at the veranda of my two stories house. I felt so regretted that I couldn't save my crush at all and just let him died like that.

I j-just lost him...for the second time now.

"H-Hi-Hinata...." a familiar sounded suddenly called my name from the below of my house. A husky voice to be exact...I was sure that I recognized that voice so much.

"H-Hinata..." the voice sounded again and this time it sounded so clear than before.

I quickly peeked below of the veranda and saw a guy with the orange hoodie was looking at me. The guy's suddenly presence really surprised me much since he is Naruto.

He's alive!

To be continue...
