I had been about nineteen weeks pregnant, and Michael and I had decided to see the genders of the babies.

When we walked into the hospital, I suddenly got really excited because we'd be able to know the sex of the babies. I could tell Michael was excited too.

We waited in the waiting room for about five minutes before the doctor called us into a room. I grabbed Michael's hand and followed the doctor.

He had the equipment out and did the usual ritual when he would start an ultrasound. I lay down and got gel on my stomach, then the wand was placed on my stomach and moved around.

I could see the two babies. I grabbed Michael's hand tighter and smiled at him whenever I saw the babies.

"So you definitely want to know the sex of the babies?" He asked. Michael and I both nodded rapidly.

"You are having.. a boy and," he paused, moving the wand slightly on my stomach before continuing, "a girl!"

"One of each," Michael whispered in my ear with a large, wide smile. I began to form a similar shape on my face. I wondered which was Louis's and which was Michael's. I'd have to text Louis to talk to him.

We got copies of the ultrasound before leaving the hospital. I walked towards Michael's car while he followed me. I got into the passenger's seat while Michael got into the driver's seat.

"I can't believe we're having a boy and a girl.. This will be so amazing," he smiled in excitement.

"Yeah. We're going to make great parents," I began to think about Louis and his little girl or boy. It was so cute. I thought of the same things for Michael and I couldn't believe how cute of dads they would be. I was still scared how Michael would react when he finds out that one of his babies really isn't his; it's Louis's.

We both went to Michael's house, and his parents were really excited to hear about the genders.

"We're having.." I looked at Michael to see if he wanted to announce it. He smiled and finished my sentence for me, "a boy and a girl!"

"That's great!" Karen exclaimed, "Oh my god! We're going to have a granddaughter and a grandson!"

I didn't know what to say to that. In reality, they'd only have either a granddaughter or grandson. I decided just to get excited with them so Michael doesn't get suspicious. I really was excited about having the twins, but I wasn't ready for the explaining that I would have to do.

Michael and I walked up to his room and I got my phone out, texting Louis that the babies were a boy and a girl. He got excited and I thought it was so cute.

"So, Haven..." Michael bit his lip. I looked up at him and put my phone away into my pocket so I could focus on talking to Michael.

"What do you want to name Mr. and Miss Clifford?" He smiled. I thought for a minute. I knew we wouldn't be using one of the names that we came up with, and Louis and I would have to come in with a boy and a girl name. I had forgotten about that.

"I don't know. I've always liked the name Makenna," I grinned.

"That's cute! And for a middle name, maybe we could use your sister's name? Ruby?"

"I love it," I nodded, "Makenna Ruby Clifford."

"For a boy.." Michael began to think. I smiled as I thought of a name, "Dylan.."

"I like Ryder," Michael looked at me, "Dylan Ryder? Ryder Dylan?"

"Ryder Dylan Clifford... I like that one," I told him. He nodded, agreeing with me.

"So we have Ryder Dylan and Makenna Ruby Clifford," he seemed satisfied with the names. I didn't know how to tell him that we'd be using only one of those names, but I didn't know which one.

I got out my phone and pretended to have a text from my mum. I stuck my phone into my left back pocket and told Michael that I needed to go.

"Do you want me to come and we can announce to your parents together?"

"Do you want to?"

"Yeah," he nodded.

"Well, my mum said that she needs me for something, so maybe you could come, we can tell them, then I might have to leave or something like that," I told him.

He shrugged, "That's okay. I have to drive you home anyways. You didn't drive here."

"You're right," I laughed as we walked downstairs and outside to get into Michael's car.

He drove me home and we walked into the house. My mum and dad approached us and I heard six feet running down the stairs unsynchronized.

"So what are you guys having? Two boys? Two girls? One of each?" Daniel got excited. I loved how happy he was about becoming an uncle.

"Well.. We're having Makenna Ruby Clifford and Ryder Dylan Clifford," I announced. Everyone got really excited, and Ruby thanked us for using her name as Makenna's middle name.

"Babe, I should go. I had forgotten, but the boys wanted me over this afternoon. We'll tell them another time, okay? Or is it okay if I tell them now?"

"You can tell them now," I told him, pecking his lips, "I'll see you later.. I love you."

"I love you too," he smiled, kissed my forehead then my stomach and walked out of the house to his car.

I walked upstairs into my room and got my phone out to text Louis. I asked him what names he liked since we had to pick one of each.

"I like the name Kayden for a boy," he texted. I smiled, liking the name. Then I replied, "maybe we could use Daniel's name for the middle name? Kayden Daniel Tomlinson?"

"Sounds cute! What about for a girl?"

"I love the name Kiersten," I sent.

"I was just about to say that name! It's so adorable.. What about Lottie's name for the middle name? Kiersten Charlotte Tomlinson?"

"Kiersten Charlotte and Kayden Daniel. I think they're both amazing names."

"Me too.. I'm so excited to see if we have Kiersten or Kayden.. What did you and Michael come up with?"

"Makenna Ruby for a girl and Ryder Dylan for a boy."

"I. can't. wait."
