Normal POV
" You said you loved me" those words escaped Natsu mouth, a full on shocked hit Lucy.
She confessed to him without even knowing, and she didn't know how Natsu took it either.

"Hehe looks like the cats out of the bag aye?" She weakly laughed, "I'm sorry for that, just pretend it didn't happe-" she went to stand up but got pulled down.

"You didn't just say that. You did something" he confessed to her, Lucy was overwhelmed as she was thinking, trying to remember everything. " What did I do-" an interruption came again as Natsu sealed hers with a kiss, it left her speechless.

"That", only one word from that action was said.

Lucy's body froze with a pink tint shading her face, she continue sitting on top of him.

Natsu reached into his pocket and pulled out his present, Lucy was to out of it to notice. "Luce" he caught her attention, " did those words mean anything?" He asked as she went to refuse and lie, but she couldn't.

All she could do was shyly nod as Natsu smiled, he put the present in her hand. It was a black box, bigger enough to be held with two hands, it had a pink ribbon on it.

"Open it" he said, sitting up and putting Lucy on the grass next to him.

Her face was dumbstruck, but she snapped out of it. Opening the box she saw a chain and pendant, the pendant was in a shape of a star, it had her name engraved on one side. When she looked at the other it had more to it, "I'll be the light to lead your way" .

Her eyes started to overflow, uncontrollable tears fallen upon her gift, In that moment Natsu grabbed what was inside and clipped it around her neck.

"Read the note" he said even though her tears were never ending. She picked up the note attached to the box.

Wiping her tears to get a clear or at least visible vision she read it out loud. " Ask me if I love you" she muttered, looking up at him so innocently, staring waiting for an answer.

"Of course" the genuine smile reached his face as Lucy just sat there, "eh" confused of the situation she mumbled.

The warm large hands of Natsu rested on her cheek, "I love you idiot" he said again as he restarted her moment of tears, "gez" he complained happily kissing her eyes where the tears fell.

"I-I-lov-e you t-too" she sniffled, hugging him affectionately.

"Natsu" her voice croaked a little from crying. She leaned in and kiss his lips , a more passionate one as they had to separate in time to catch their breathe.

"Alright birthday girl, before you get a cold lets go to your apartment" he informed throwing her onto his back, "n-n-Natsu Not now" she panicked at the phrase ' let's go to your apartment'.

"What ya on about Lucy? Aren't you tired? You need to go home" the oblivious idiot said as Lucy blushed, she overreacted at something so...so, that!

"Your a real idiot you know" she tapped his head with her fist, "you know you love me!" The chuckled and grinned made her feel pleasant, she hugged her arms tighter and dig her head closer. " And I know you love me" Lucy closed her eyes in that moment.
