At Least No One Important Died

I wiped the dirt off of my arms and hands, smirking. The man beside me was wheezing and clutching his wounded arm. I turned to look at him and winked, which he returned with a glare. "What?" I asked, trying to act innocent.

"What did I say about starting fights, Damien?" He asked me, cocking an eyebrow.

   "To...do whatever the fu-"

"Damien!" He cut me off. "Language," he said.

"What, it's not like anyone died anyway?" I asked and got no response. "Wait..." I trailed off.

"Are you sure about tha-" there was a thunk as a body landed on the ground right in front of us. I let out a startled squeak, earning a questionable look from the other man.

"Okay so at least it wasn't someone important," I said with confidence.

   "Really?"

   "Yeah."

"Go and look to see who that person in front of us was."

"Okay..." I gave him a questioning look before going to do what he told me. I turned the body over to reveal the man's battered face, not recognizing him. "Okay, who is he," I asked the other.

He facepalmed. "Sir, do you seriously not recognize him?" He asked me, an annoyed expression shown on his face. I stared at his face for a few minutes, trying to identify him.

"Umm, is he...uh, I don't know." I told him, earning a groan from the other.

"Sir, he is the head of the company that you were just fighting in front of," he told me.

   "The company..."

"Look at the building in front of you!"

   "Oh, oops."

   "Oops?"

"Yeah, oops." I said, earning a groan from the other.

"Please tell me you're going to do something about this."

"Yeah, I'm going to bury the body." I said, grinning as the other man looked like he was going to start crying. "Come on, Al. Let's go bury the body."

   "It's Alexander."

   "Come on, Al. We're friends."

"Your father told me to look after you when he couldn't."

"Come ooon" I whined, grabbing the body and starting to drag it.

"Damien, that is not how we're going to handle this problem!" He screeched as I started to attempt to sprint while dragging the body behind me.

"Oh, but it is!" I yelled back at him, not listening to his protest.

I wiped the dirt off of me as I looked at the mound of dirt in front of me. I smirked and turned around to see Alexander glaring at me. "What?" I asked, trying to act innocent.

"You just..." He cut himself off by groaning. "This is going to get me in jail." He muttered, running a hand through his hair as he had a worried look on his face.

"Don't worry, Al. We're not going to get caught, it's not like someone is just going to walk through the woods and come across us now." I said, trying to cheer him up a little.

"It's Alexander and you probably just jinxed us."

"Oh, yeah?" I questioned him, right as a young woman stumbled across us. "Oh sh-" I got cut off as the girl looked at the mound of dirt near me, my dirt covered body, my shovel, then at Alexander who looked like he was on the verge of crying. Her eyes widened as multiple scenarios went through her head, most of them weren't positive.

"W-wha-" she was cut off by a shovel hitting her head.

"Damien," Alexander screamed. "What did you just do?" Tears were threatening to spill out of his eyes by now.

"Uh, I got rid of the witness." I said, checking to see if I had actually knocked her out. I raised the shovel again and slammed it down on the girl's skull again, this time earning a loud cracking noise when the shovel made impact with her skull. Alexander had whipped out his phone and dialed my parents' number in a rage, tears slipping down his face. I smirked when I brought the shovel down on her head again, making a loud cracking noise once again. I bent down to check if she was still breathing or had a pulse. She had a faint pulse, which was growing dimmer by the minute. I smirked with satisfaction and got back up, going to face Alexander. "See no more witness." I said.

He was sobbing from the scene he had seen while stuttering out nonsense to my parents. "Y-your parents are c-coming." He stuttered, staring at me with pure hatred I had never seen before him. My eyes widened at the knowledge of what would happen as I ran away from him, not knowing where I was going. All I knew was that I had to get away. I knew I couldn't be caught.
