"Two Hearts..." (Pt 2) TenRose One-shot

Thank you! Means so much to me that you're reading!

💙💙 (In case you can't see, those are two blue hearts)

Rose entered the TARDIS with The Doctor, smiling at the familiar spaceship.

The Doctor, however, was reluctant. He had no idea if it was Rose or not- so he quickly walked over to the monitor, scanning her.

She stood still as he did so, looking around and remembering good times.

The Doctor smiled mischievously, ready to prove she was a fake, when his hearts stopped.

The monitor showed that she did indeed have two hearts, and she had the memories of Rose Tyler.

He looked over the screen and stared at her. "Rose?" He asked, astonished.

She nodded. "Yeah."

The Doctor ran over to her, now sure it was Rose, and wouldn't take this chance for granted.

He attacked her with a huge hug, spinning her around. Rose laughed, sounding unfamiliar to the both of them.

After a few precious moments, The Doctor put her back down. "How... How did you end up like this?" He gestured sadly towards her many scars.

Rose's face seemed to drop; she wasn't really ready to tell him. But she gave in and told him everything.

They both sat down. Doctor listened to every word attentively, nodding, gasping and eyes widening at the right moments.

When Rose told him about what Torchwood had did, his eyes flashed with anger for a moment. Torchwood was horrible in Pete's World too.

After she finished telling him everything, a few minutes of silence followed. Neither were sure what to say.

Until The Doctor decided to speak up. "Rose, while you were gone... I had another companion." His eyes showed some regret, hoping she wouldn't be mad, but Rose didn't show any anger. She just listened as he had.

"Her name was Martha Jones, and she was a medical student. We travelled a bit, but then she left."

"How come?"

"I... I think it was because I missed you too much."

"Oh, Doctor, you don't need to miss me. You know I'm nothing important."

His face became serious again. "Of course you are Rose, you're the most important woman in all of the whole universes to me."

"Don't say that when you know it's not true."

"It is true!" He yelled.

Rose quietly shook her head, thick hair bouncing up and down.

"Rose... When I was on that beach with you..."

Rose looked up at him, squinting. "Yeah?"

"I love you, Rose."

A few precious seconds passed, and Rose stared up at him in disbelief. She never though he would love her.

"I... I love you too, Doctor." She had already said this before, but felt no shame it saying it again.

Both Doctor and Rose leaned in close, and they kissed.

Their first kiss- Rose didn't remember.
And their second kiss- It wasn't Rose. She was possessed by Cassandra.

But now, their third kiss, was real. They would both treasure this moment forever.

The Doctor smiled into the gentle kiss, but continued.

Rose made a cute, high-pitched noise, but then broke away.

She was blushing, and so was The Doctor.

Doctor stood up. "Let's go find your mother. I'm sure she'd love to give me a good slap." He said, smiling.

"Yeah, I'd be surprised if she never." Rose laughed, and went up to the console. "You ever going to teach me how to fly this thing?" She asked. "Because now I really can be with you forever." She said, blushing and gazing up at him.

"Forever." He repeated. "I like that word. Forever." He said again, and grabbed Rose's hands, showing them the many controls.

After a quick learning session, Rose was an amateur TARDIS flier. The Doctor was so proud of her quick learning, but the only reason she learned so fast is because the TARDIS told her (through her link with it) some tips!

They landed, and The Doctor grabbed Rose's hand as they got ready to go out.

"I'm ready to be slapped." He said, with a happy tune.

"I'm sure you are." Rose smiled happily as well.
