~~~
Rose and The Doctor had just left London, again, and were now in the Time Vortex, laughing at the jokes Doctor said about the large, disgusting alien they had faced earlier.
When literally, just out of nowhere, The Doctor just disappeared in front of Rose's eyes. He had slowly faded away, leaving nothing behind.
Rose looked around desperately. "Doctor? Doctor?!" She called out to him, peeking through a few odd rooms to try and find him, thinking it was some sort of prank before she heard a phone call from the phone outside the TARDIS.
Rose had a curious look on her face, but went over to the TARDIS monitor, where she could answer the phone.
She pushed a button that the monitor showed her, and she picked up the phone. "Hello?" She said to the monitor, praying it was the person she always travelled with-
And it was. "Rose? Rose are you there?" said the familiar of her Doctor.
"Yeah! I'm here..." She thought for a quick moment what to ask him, before saying "Where are you? What just 'appened?"
"I have no idea, but I think I'm on the planet Hefaborokas..." The sonic was then heard, he was scanning something. It sounded like he was turning the phone around with his head. "Listen, Rose... I'm sorry to have to ask this of you, but you have to fly the-"
He stopped talking as he grunted, further away fro the phone and a deep masculine yet alien voice cut him off. "You're coming with me." The TARDIS translated for her.
Rose yelled out: "Doctor?! Doctor are you okay?!"
The last thing she heard from him was a string of random numbers and decimals. Doctor seemed to be yelling those from far away, and his voice grew more distant before completely gone.
Rose put her head in her hands, taking in deep breaths.
He had just asked her to fly the TARDIS, which she had literally no idea how to do.
Rose tried to remember all the time he piloted it, but all she saw was him pushing so many random buttons so quickly that she couldn't keep track of it.
But she wouldn't give up; She was Rose Tyler, Defender of the Earth, the Bad Wolf, the Doctor's companion.
She HAD to save him.
Standing up straight again, she managed to get the TARDIS to replay the message. Rose put in the coordinates, then stood back.
"Now what..?" She said to herself, before walking around the console.
Rose thought of The Doctor again, how he saved so many people, how he saved her, his sexy hair...
No, stop it. She told her mind. Stay focused.
She just sighed and pushed a random button, hoping for the best when she quickly found out what she had pushed: The controls for the stabilizers.
The TARDIS console room just went out of balance: causing Rose to crash onto the walls!
Groaning and standing up, she went back to the console again, fixing the balance.
I'm gonna be stuck here forever... She thought before hearing a feminine voice in her head.
"That green button, push it, then pull on that lever, and spin it clockwise."
Rose turned around, looking for the voice that spoke to her, but she couldn't find the source.
"Yeah, it's me, do you want to save The Doctor or not?"
Rose looked up, then back at the console. "W-Who are you?"
"The TARDIS, obviously."
"How are you speaking to me?"
"Telepathically. Not so hard to do to a human."
Rose frowned, but continued. "How come you've never spoke to me before?"
"Because I'm always talking to The Doctor, or I'm just busy. I never talk to his companions- they're all stupid."
"Well, thanks, but how do I fly you..?"
"Like I said, green button, lever, clockwise."
Rose obeyed, piloting The TARDIS.
"That's it?"
"Of course not. Next, you-"
The TARDIS continue to mentally provide Rose with instructions, before she finally landed on the planet The Doctor provided the coordinates for.
"Here we are, Hefaborokas, one week after Doctor was... Captured. He's in the nearby prison."
Rose was fuming. "One week? Why one week?!"
"I can't help it." The voice seemed to giggle, before fading away. Great, Rose thought.
She went outside the TARDIS doors, not knowing what to expect, when almost immediately she was approached by two aliens- dressed in tight, black clothing. They were both about 8 feet tall, ha red skin, and four arms.
"You're under arrest for trespassing." One spoke up, same voice used on the phone not too long ago.
"Stop, you don't understand, I'm here for my friend!" She struggled withing their grasp, but couldn't escape. The aliens remained silent as they dragged her along a street, for a few more minutes before bringing her into a building that looked like it could be a prison.
They through her into a cell, her body crashing into the wall, cold and hard like stone. She felt like just sitting there and going to sleep (She was going to go to bed earlier, before The Doctor disappeared), when she heard the voice: the one that told her to run, the voice that had saved universes, the voice she loved. And it called her name.
"Rose?" came the Doctor's voise, miserable and weak.
"Doctor?" She responded, crawling towards him. "I'm here..."
"I knew I could count on you..." It was too dark to see, but easy to know that The Doctor was proud of her.
"You should thank Sexy, too." She rolled her eyes as she remembered that the TARDIS told her his nickname for her.
"Oh." Was all he responded.
"How are we gonna get out f here? You got the sonic?"
"Nope. They took it."
"I guess we're stuck here for ahwile then." Rose pretended she was dissapointed, but was really happy that she could spend time with her Doctor.
"Yeah." He still spoke kind of awkwardly.
Rose yawned. She wanted to stay up, to talk to him, but sleep was getting the better of her. "I'm going to take a nap, then." She said calmly, before closing her eyes and beginning to doze off.
"Goodnight, Rosie." He answered, stroking he hair for a moment.
Rose blushed and questioned the name, but disregarded it for now as she fell asleep.
~~~

Rose and The Doctor both awoke to a loud noise coming from not too far. Then thee were gunshots, yelling, and a man in a black trench coat burst through the prison door.

"Come on, let's get out of here!" Rose couldn't see who it was, the light was blinding her, but she knew by the voice that it was the on and only Captain Jack Harkness who had come for them. He had many gunshots through his arms, head, chest, everywhere, but Rose didn't care as he dragged her and The Doctor out of the building.

They stopped out on the street, where the public was fleeing and alarms blazing. The three panted from the running, and Jack's wounds quickly healed.

"How... How did you do that?" Rose asked him.

"I could ask you the same thing, you're the one that did it to me." Rose raised an eyebrow at this, and The Doctor glared at Jack, before whispering something to him and Jack's eyes widened.

"Sorry, forget about that." Jack said apologetically. The Doctor sighed.

"What are you two gettin' on with? How're you alive?"

The truth was, The Ninth Doctor removed Rose's memories of the Bad Wolf- if she remembered it could endanger her.

"I'm alive because... Because.." Jack tred to think of an excuse, but then looked to The Doctor for one.

"Let's just say you did something to me so I can't die- but if you remember what you did then you'll die." Jack said simply.

Rose didn't really know what to say, so The Doctor continued another conversation. "So... Lemme guess, you hacked your vortex manipulator, found The TARDIS and then found out we were taken prisoner so you came to rescue us?" The Doctor assumed.

Jack smirked. "Right on, Doc."

Rose just decided to forget about the whole dying thing for now, because there was a whole troop of large, red aliens heading for them.

"I think we should go, yeah?" Rose made her signature tongue-tooth smile.

The gang was back together again, and they laughed all the way as they ran to the TARDIS.

Jack quickly handed everything that The Doctor had on him when he was taken prisoner- sonic screwdriver, psychic paper, and a bunch of other random knickknacks.

The trio got into the TARDIS, ingnoring the pounding on the door, and The Doctor and Rose dropped Jack back off at Torchwood.

"Sorry, Jack, but got to disable it for real this time." Doctor soniced his vortex manipulator.

Jack sighed, bid his farewells, gave Rose a big hug and The Doctor a salute.

He was about to go back outside to his team, before facing them both. "Oh, and you two." He smirked, again. "Good luck with your 'secret romance'." Jack left the TARDIS then, laughing.

The Doctor and Rose both blushed, avoiding each other's gaze before he brought them into the vortex.

"Jack knows me too well." Rose blurted out, regretting what she said. She knew the Doctor would always reject her.

The Doctor stared at her. "As with me." He said quietly, but loud enough for her to hear.

Rose froze, and looked over at him. There was a look in The Doctor's eyes she hadn't seen before.

Maybe he can love me, she thought. It's worth the risk... She convinced herself.

"Doctor..." She approached him, and held his hand tightly. "I... I think I love you." Rose looked dwn out of sheer embarrasement.

The Doctor didn't know what to say. He had thought that Rose would never love him back- for the bad things he had done.

Maybe she can love me, he thought. I really love her too, so it's time she knew...

"I love you too." Doctor said back, lifting her chin up to look at her.

It's now or never, Rose and The Doctor both thought at the same time.

They both slowly leaned in, and shared their first, truly real kiss.

It wasn't anything pasionate, just gentle.

"You too are so cheesy." Said the confident and rude voice of the TARDIS, in both their heads.

Rose and The Doctor both blushed, and turned away from each other.

"But a pretty cool story, if I do say so myself." Said the voice again, in a mocking tone.

Their blushes became more intense, but The Doctor decided to speak up against her.

"That's enough, Sexy." He smirked, but rosy tint still on his cheeks. The Doctor gestured towards Rose. "Gorgeous here is trying to do a little something with me."

This made Rose's cheeks literally turn red, as she struggled not to laugh or swoon or turn away.

You could swear that the TARDIS was frowning.
