Prompt: Rose, Ten and Jack set the TARDIS to random... What will they do when they end up at a bar, and the only one sober is The Doctor? (no smut) Also, Jack found Rose and The (10th) Doctor earlier than when he did when Doctor was with Martha.

"So... Where are going, Doctor?" Jack asked as he leaned on the console.

The Doctor shooed him away from the console, hoping he wouldn't be stupid and do something wrong. "I don't know, where do you want to Rose?" He asked and turned around to face her.

As Rose tried to think, she saw Jack make a naughty hand gesture between her and The Doctor... To which she blushed. "Anywhere?" She asked, trying to stop Jack from doing that.

He nodded. "We'll set her to random, then."

But The Doctor didn't notice Jack change the co-ordinates to a public bar in Earth's near future.

Rose noticed. Only Jack put a finger to his lips and she remained silent.

After the TARDIS finished shaking and the three of them fell over, they laughed it off and got up to see where they had landed.

Jack and Rose smirked, and The Doctor frowned. "Oh no, Jack, you are not getting Rose drunk."

"Aww, c'mon Doctor, can't we have a little fun?" Rose pouted, and The Doctor couldn't resist and let her exit the TARDIS.

He shook his head. "I'll be watching, don't go crazy."

Jack nudged The Doctor on the way out, as Rose scurried off to get a drink. "She'll be fine." He reassured himself, and went to go do the same.

"It'll be a long night..." The Doctor muttered to himself and exited himself, following the duo to the bartender's station.

Later on, Jack and Rose were completely intoxicated. Doctor was trying to keep them from doing anything stupid, until Jack said something that made his breath hitch.

"You, know, Rose... I love 'ya." Even if he was drunk, it sounded... Genuine. And it broke his hearts that he couldn't be the first to tell her that.

Rose just burst into laughter, and Jack froze. She thought he was kidding- which brought The Doctor some relief.

"I'm serious." Jack said, almost sounding normal.

Rose then turned to look at him. "Well, sorry, but there's someone else..." She smirked and The Doctor was full of hope.

"This bloke." She nodded towards a random guy she had never met. "Just kidding, I love The Doctor." She blushed, and started laughing, not even noticing he was there.

He just blushed and gaped at her. How could someone as amazing as her love him?

He took this chance... Because after this he knew that he wouldn't be confident. He grabbed Rose's hand which caused her to flinch in surprise. And then he smiled. "I love you too..." He said quietly, but loud enough for someone drunk to hear him.

Jack stood up, seemingly not drunk. He held out a hand for The Doctor to shake. "My work is done... Congrats, Doctor."

He curiously shook his hand, he and Rose watching him as he took his vortex manipulator out and teleporting somewhere else.

"Is he-" Rose burped. "Is he even drunk?"

The Doctor shook his head and smiled, mentally thanking Jack. "Nah... Come on, let's get you back to the TARDIS."

Rose blushed again and tried to get up, but couldn't. she nearly fell over.

So despite the other people there, the Doctor picked Rose up bridal style and carried her to the TARDIS nearby.

The bad feeling from before lifted from
his hearts and he felt amazing. As if he could do anything.

Like snog the drunk Rose.
