You came to Kamar-Taj as your last hope to run as you used to do again. You had broken your right leg during an earthquake and you had fallen off your balcony. The fall shattered your leg in pieces and the doctors said you would never run again as you did before. It was as if your world had been torn apart because running was like breathing for you. If you couldn't run as fast as you can, it was as if someone had ripped your heart out of your chest. You met several of doctors who all came to the same conclusions that you will never regain the stability and strength you had before the accident. Until you heard about a place, a mystic place where miracles happened. Immediately you took a plane and landed at the place: Kamar-Taj. You came at the door, exhausted and knocked twice. A strange woman, wearing a yellow tunic welcomed you and let you in. She said she was the Ancient one and that she knew you, you were coming. She agreed to teach you the secrets of the mystic arts which will heal your leg. You were determined to feel the wind stroked your face again and the feeling of almost flying by running like there was no end.

It's the second day you had arrived you met him in the library, this dark tall man with a long red cloak and a blue tunic. His piercing blue eyes seemed to lock with yours and you stared at each other until Wong dropped the two big books you needed for study in front of you. Wong frowned at the sight he faced and cleared his throat.

"Y/N, here are your books. If you need anything else, come back here."

You quickly turned yourself to him and grabbed your books. There were heavier than you thought and groaned under their weight.

"Thank you, Wong. Have a nice day."

You turned again and faced the stranger with the sharp cheekbones. Hesitantly, he said:

" Would you like some help, Y/N?"

You raised your eyebrows.

" How do you know my name, sir?"

He just shrugged and said:

-"Well, Wong just said it. I'm Doctor Stephen Strange by the way."

He rose his hand for you to shake it.

" I would love to shake your hand but my hands are full. Nice to meet you, Doctor."

He waved his hand over you, the birth of a smile on his lips.

" Please, call me Stephen."

You smiled and nodded.

" I have to go. Have a nice day Stephen. You too Wong!"

And then, you walked to your room, an azure gaze stuck on your body. When you reached the door of your bedroom, you opened it and dropped the books on the table before taking a deep breath. You thought about your encounter with Stephen and a blush reached your cheeks. You weren't denying that you were not attracting to him. However, you had just met him so you had to calm down. You knew you couldn't work with your mind so ecstatic. So you decided to take a walk and maybe try to run a little. You changed into a black legging, a blue tank top and yellow sports shoes. You put your hair into a ponytail and got out of your room. You warned the Ancient one that you were going to take a walk to train yourself and she said.

" Just came back before dark."

You nodded and went to the exterior platform in which you stretched your legs for several minutes. What you didn't know was that you were watched by someone who leaned on the door, his arm crossed over his chest.

"Hello again, Y/N."

You raised your head up to see Stephen Strange looking at you, his crimson cloak slowly floating behind him. You felt your cheeks redden at his sight but you tried to stay stoical. You stared at him, and as he kept on looking at you, you asked:

" Why are you staring at me like that? Do I have something on my face?"

He chuckled and shook his head.

" No, I'm just trying to understand why you are here."

You frowned.

" And you think that staring at me will help?"

"Well, I'm a doctor so I'm good to observe unfixed things."

" Then tell, me what do you see, Doctor Strange?"

His face changed into a determined air on it. You stayed motionless while he watched your body from up to down. Then he said:

" You were a famous runner until you broke your leg during the earthquake which shook your town. You even beat the speed record of 300 meters. Congrats by the way. And now you're here to find again the velocity you lost."

" Hum, did you check on the Internet, Sherlock?"

"Okay, you're right, I googled it. However, you won't reach the speed you used to."

You smirked.

"Never give up, Stephen. I will gain my speed back and even go further. Now watch and see."

You jumped on your feet and skipped the distance between him and you. Your faces were separated by inches apart, your eyes were locked like magnets and your heart sped up. You winked at him whispering in his ear: " I like your cloak" and ran out of his reach by climbing onto the roof. You disappeared from his sight and started to run for pleasure.

You jumped from roof to roof until you touched the ground again and reached the forest near Kamar-Taj. You started by a slow jog, finding your own rhythm and according to your breath to your speed. You kept on like that for a while until the sun slowly broke down. You fell once but didn't bother to stop. You decided to go faster, ignoring the pulsing pain shooting through your ex-injured leg. You jumped up a root, a step and got faster and faster. Then the forest vanished to let place to a straight road which led to the house you stayed in. You stopped and watched the twilight let his place to the darkness of the night. You took a deep breath and focus. You didn't hear the steps coming from behind you and the sudden flash of orange light. You bent your leg and stretched the other, ready to go.

" One, two, thr...."

" Don't do it."

You quickly jumped and rotated to be faced by a grinning Stephen. You sighed.

" You scared me!"

" Sorry about that. I didn't mean to."

You sent him a death glare.

"Fine, maybe a little."

You groaned at him and turned back into your position. You were going to run, rather he wanted or not. You faced the path you were going to touch and the feeling of energy invaded your veins. Even if the pain through your leg was barely bearable, you were going to get what you wanted. Suddenly, you felt a hand tapped your shoulder. You turned your head to face him, unhappy.

" What?"

" As I said before, don't do it."

You rolled your eyes.

" And why not, Doctor?"

" Because first, you are not ready. You came here a week ago, it's too soon for you to do that. You have to be patient. Secondly, your right leg is trembling, probably from pain, I assume."

You bit your lower lip, divided between fury and sadness in your mind. You wanted so bad to run like you use to be but deep down you knew that there was an infinite chance to do it again. You sighed and stand up. You started to walk towards the mansion when Stephen grabbed my arm.

"What are you doing?"

" I'm going back to the mansion, walking."

He sighed and pressed his fingers on his forehead.

" I know another way, much quicker to get back."

I looked at him, curious. He smiled and said, using your previous words:

"Watch and see."

He rose his arms and put two fingers together. Then he made a circle with his other hand and gradually, a circle of fire appeared, opening a portal to the inside of the house. You watched in awe what he was doing, amazed.

"Ladies first."

You stepped forward and entered the blazing circle. He followed you and you found yourself back to the mansion. You were voiceless and Stephen softly shook your shoulder.

" Are you okay Y/N?"

You turned to him, a muffled cry escaping your lips. Your leg was pulsing in pain and you had to lay down, quick. Immediately, he noticed.

"It's your leg, isn't it?"

You bit your lower bit harder and nodded. The copper taste of blood invaded your mouth. He grabbed you bridal style and you squealed of surprise. However, you gripped his cloak harder. He brought you to his room and you watched him, confused.

" What are you doing? Why didn't you bring me to my room?"

He put you delicately down to his bed and said:

" I'm a doctor and I am going to watch your leg."

" You're a neurosurgeon, I heard you said it to Wong two days ago. I'll be fine. I just need some rest."

He took your hand in his and squeezed it.

" No, your leg has doubled of size, you need ice and rest. But first I need to see if everything else is okay. Now, remove your pants."

You blushed and after few seconds of thinking, you obliged. You were wearing a red panty and you push on your shirt to try to hide it. Immediately, he put his hands covered by his glove on your knee and gently stroke your skin. Your breathing hitched and you clenched your teeth. Delicately, he brushed his finger upon your soft skin, pressing harder on painful spots. You looked at his face and found him intensely focused on his work. His eyebrows frowned and he was biting his lip. You felt his finger trembling which sent you shivers down your spine. You realised he probably had something with his hands and you stopped him. He raised his head to you, silently asking you what you were doing.

" Your hands are trembling, are you okay, Doctor?"

A hint of pink covered his cheeks and he muttered something under his breath.

" I'm fine. Now, stay still. I'm going to use a spell to relax your muscles."

You released his hand and nodded. He put his hands at each extremity of your leg and started to mutter something in another language. Suddenly a golden brazing disk appeared above your leg and a bright aura dazzled you while you felt the constant pain fade away. Your breathing slowed down and you felt yourself fall into the darkness of your mind.

When you woke up, you didn't recognise the place where you were laying until the events of last night came back to your mind. Immediately, you raised up on the leg and looked around. There was no sign of Stephen. You sighed and put a hand in your hair, frustrating. Then you notice the soft white sheet upon your body and you raised it up to look at your leg. You discovered only your underwear covered your body. Then you removed the sheet and observed the bandage around your ex-injured leg. You slowly touched the gauze and you realised your leg is not hurting you anymore. You decided then to get up and went to the mirror where you could see yourself. The reflection you faced is you in your red underwear; your hair falling on your shoulder in a mess and the bleach gauze enrooted on your leg. You were lost thoughts when the door burst open and revealed a blushing doctor. You turned to face him and watched him look everywhere except you. " What a gentleman, " you thought smirking. However, you quickly grabbed the sheets and covered yourself with it.

"Huh. Hell, Stephen."

He looked at you again and you could see the dark bags under his eyes. He said:

" Hi, Y/N. How do you feel?"

" Pretty good, actually. It's amazing, I don't feel any pain anymore! How is it possible? What did you do exactly, Stephen?"

He smirked at your enthusiasm.

" I brought you some clothes. I let you change and then we will discuss it around a cup of tea."

He put your clothes on the bed and left the room. You let go of the sheet and grabbed you clothes you quickly put them on. You took a quick glance at yourself in the mirror and smiled. Then you left and joined Stephen who was sitting on the floor, a mini-table on the floor with two full cups of tea. A smile appeared on his face when he saw you and he invited you to sit down in face of him. You did as he wanted and took a sip of your tea. The warm liquid warmed your mouth and you hummed in delight. Stephen chuckled at your sight and you raised an eyebrow at him.

" Let's go to the main topic. I used the mystic arts to temporarily heal your leg. It will wear off tomorrow so don't be too excited, Y/N."

Your mouth fell open and you gulped at him. Thousands of thoughts were floating in your mind and you didn't know where to begin until you finally came to one question.

" Why did you do what you did Stephen? The Ancient one could have probably done that but she didn't. What am I suppose to do now to be healed not temporarily? To run one last race?"

Stephen stood up and you did the same, he came closer to you and you stepped back until you touched the wall. Two dark blue pools were looking straight through your soul and your breathing stopped. Your faces were inches apart and you fought the sudden urge to kiss him when he whispered in your ear " Don't fight me".

You felt the wall of reason fell and passion overwhelmed your body. You jumped on him, wrapping your legs around his waist and your arms around his neck. Your lips connected his and Stephen didn't react at your action for a few seconds. Then he roughly kissed you back, pushing you harder against the wall. You let your fingers flew on the back of his head while his hand found your waist and gently stroked your skin while the other hold you up. You moaned when his tongue asked for entrance which you gladly granted and a battle of dominance began. He was going to win when Wong stepped in the room and stopped. A devil smirk reached his lips. Next thing you heard was the Asian man yelling: " You owe me fifty bucks Mordo!"

A/N : So What did you think??
