Dove in the captivating universe of your book, you didn't hear the muffled bump on the floor. However, you noticed the light flickered around you and you raised your head up. All around you was standing pillars of books and right in front of you was remaining the Eye of Agamotto ( Stephen had put it back to its seal), which was slowly glowing in the dark. The silence was filling the room like a dark curse slowly falling on its preys.
You were studying the mystic arts for months and Mordo had been your teacher until Stephen Strange arrived. Immediately, you felt drawn to him but you kept your distances, slightly afraid of your new feelings. You had found your item two days ago at the Sanctum of London: a blue cloak called the Cloak of Invincibility. It was very similar to the Cloak of Levitation that Stephen owned.
You closed your book and put it back to its place when you saw Kaecilius walked in the library. You looked around in order to find Wong. He was the protector of this place and you doubted you would be able to hold him back without the help of the Asian magician. You took a quick glance at the enemy and noticed that his eyes were encompassed by a dark smoke and he seems lost in thoughts. He came closer to your corridors and your heart sped up. " What should I do? " I thought, looking frantically around me to get an idea. The wise words of the Ancient One she once told you echoed in your mind " You are the mistress of the elements you want to tame, don't let them control you. Once you know that, nothing can stop you." and the words of Wong " Break them before they break you". You took a deep breath and rose your eyes up to be met with those of Kaecilius. You felt a shiver rolled down your spine.
" Mmh, you are not supposed to be here, Miss."
You just shrugged your shoulder, deciding to play the dumb girl to deceive him.
"Well, I need to study and except you didn't notice, it's a library. Who are you?"
His eyes widened.
"Don't you know who am I?"
" No, nice makeup, by the way."
And with that last sentence, you created a blazing spear with your magic and attacked him. He quickly dodged the attack and groaned at you, clearly pissed off. He rose his hand, and you were sent flying against the table. Your cloak cushioned your fall and you dodged his next attack. He made appear a transparent sword and threw it at you. Your Cloak of Invincibility wrapped itself around you in an attempt to protect you but you still felt the punch which made you fall on the ground. Kaecilius approached you ready to strike his last attack. You quickly punched him in the legs and he dropped his weapon and fell on the ground. You jumped on your feet and tried to grab your flaming weapon. At the moment you grabbed it, you felt the burning sting of a blade piercing your body. Then you saw Kaecilius flew above your head, screaming ( like a girl?) and being knocked on the shelves by a furious Doctor Strange. It was quite a view, and a smile appeared on your lips despite the growing pain. You heard him yell your name:
"Y/N! Oh, God! Are you okay? What happened?"
You put a hand on your waist, trying to stop the bleeding. You made disappear your spear of flames and limped towards him.
" Just a scratch and for the " what happened" I think it's quite obvious Stephen."
" Now is not the time for jokes Y/N. You're hurt."
You looked at him, diving in his mesmerising blue eyes. He helped you walking back to the infirmary while the Ancient One took care of Wong and dealt with Kaecilius. You felt your cheeks redden when you felt Stephen's hands held your waist. You've never been so close before and it made you at the same time full of glee and anxious. You didn't know if he felt the same. he was so stoical and reserved that it was difficult to understand him. He led you to the bed of the infirmary on which you lied down. Immediately, his face covered of concern changed into the professional doctor grave air you heard about so much. You could see his sharp cheekbones glistened at the aura of the lamp. His eyes were analysing your wound intensely and your breath quickened. His voice resonated in the room:
"It didn't touch any vital organs but I need to stitch your wound. I don't have any painkillers so you will have to be brave. I'll do as quick as I can, I promise. Ready?"
You nodded, blushing. He reached the hem of your shirt and removed it a little to not let him in the way. He took a thread and a needle. He watched for you, then your wound and took a deep breath. You touched his arm, asking him:
" Are you okay?"
He sighed heavily, stressed.
" I've never made any operation since the accident. I don't know if I can do this."
You put your hand on his and intertwined your fingers with his tremulous ones.
" Well, you may need to remove your gloves first. And I trust you."
You emphasise this sentence by pressing his fingers in a comforting gesture. He gazed at you for a while, pondering at your words. You felt yourself blushing harder under his gaze and you bit your lower lip, embarassed. He slowly nodded and removed his dark gloves, revealing the white scars on his whole hands.
" Grip your cloak and take a deep breath."
You "happily" obliged and gripped your cloak. Its ending floated and covered your hands in a recomforting presence. You clenched your teeth and watched the doctor do his work. The first stings were the worst and the pain got low and down. He pierced the wounded skin with patience and your grip increased on the cloak. Your breathing was frantic and drops of sweat were falling on your forehead. You closed your eyes and forced you to stay still. The stitches felt like hours and when the last needle left your skin you sighed of relief while Stephen finished sewing your skin. Then you heard the medical objects fell in the metallic cup and you turned your head to see him, breathing heavily. You grabbed his naked wrist.
" Hey, you did great. Thank you, Stephen."
Your eyes locked again and you saw a new glimmer shines in his blue eyes.
" I think I should thank you, Y/N."
You frowned, confused.
" What?"
He came closer and sat on the bed next to you.
" I flinched only two times when I stitched you. Have you any idea how long I've waited to gain back the infamous stability of my hands? Years, Y./N, years. Even this morning, my hands were trembling, and yet with you, I'm stable. How is it possible?"
You gasped at his words, astonished by what he possibly meant.
" I ... I don't know Stephen."
He smirked and said:
" You should rest, now. Close your eyes and sleep, I'll come back in the morning."
Next, he leant on and pecked your lips softly. You smiled into the kiss and he stepped back, looking at your eyes, fearing a rejection. He was met with a very happy Y/N who grabbed his shoulders and kissed him back with passion. They kissed for a while, andd you felt Stephen 's hand run through your arms which sent you shivers of delight. You gasped when he pinched you and he took the chance to meet your tongue with his. A battle of dominance born and you fought bravely but you had to say, you were defeated under his talented tongue. He stepped back again and looked at you with lust but he bit his lips, holding himself to go further. He pecked one last time your lips and whispered in your ears " Good night, Y/N".
You noticed your cloaks not intertwined anymore when he made a step back and you realized even your cloaks were attracted to each other. A sincere smile was drawn on your face and looked at the magician left the room, his red cloak floating unhappily behind him. Stephen walked out of the room, closing the door behind him and jumped when a voice erupted out of nowhere:
" You took your time Stephen to tell her, didn't you?"
He was so surprised by the presence of the Ancient One standing in the darkness of the house he swore under his breath:
" Oh my f***g God, How did you know? Nevermind, you probably know everything", he said sarcasticly and added, "but what the hell did you do that?"
She raised up her invisible eyebrow.
" Do what?"
He sighed and left without answering her question and thinking of the kiss he shared with Y/N. Then Wong came vrey silently next to the Ancient One and said in her ear " That". The Asian magician expected to made his master flinch but she jsut said: " Seriously, Wong , I heard you long before you try to scare me. " And she left, leaving a confused Wong wondering why he didn't scare the Ancient One, finally concluding that she was the Ancient One and that nothing scare him. " Let's try that on Mordo," he thought. Minutes later, everyone heard a girly scream echoed in the house.

A/N: So what did you think? Would you like another one? I am opened to request, so feel free to send an MP.
PS: I actually invented the idea of the Cloak of Invincibility which as you probably noticed was inspired by the Cloak of Levitation of Doctor Strange.
