It had been days since you had pranked Stephen and you could still feel his burning gaze on your back each time you were with him. However, you were cautious because you knew his wrath was going to be explosive.

You stepped into the dining room and stopped dead in your tracks when a waterfall of freezing water splashed your face. You let out a high pitched scream, the icy liquid wetting your whole body and growled loudly.

« Stephen! »

You swept away the cold water out of your eyes to freeze when you saw Stephen and... Loki both smirking at you.You gulped, fear kicking in your veins.

« I'm in bad trouble. » you thought and tried to rush out but the door suddenly slammed closed right in front of your face.

« Revenge isn't so sweet, is it, Y/N? » Stephen said evilly, a smirk playing on his lips and breaking the heavy silence.

Loki grinned and shook his head, his arms crossed over his chest.

You slowly spun around and faced the revenge of your dear sorcerer.

« What are you up to, Stephen? Ice Bucket is a classic trick. »

Stephen locked eyes with yours, his mesmerising eyes sending shivers down your spine at the silent whisper by the new spark of mischief glowing in his dilated pupils.

« That is why I asked the God of Mischief himself to help me trick you, dear. »

You took a step back, concern covering your face.

Loki chuckled at your behaviour.

« Now, no need to run sweetheart. Stephen has been very specific on what I could do and what I could not. Now, I have to confess that your prank was remarkable. »

You hesitantly said :

« Thank you, I guess. »

Stephen rolled his eyes.

« No need to flatter her, Loki. I got a difficult time to remove this dye » he grumbled.

« Luckily I took pictures of him » you muttered, a goofy smile appearing on your lips. Loki smirked at you as if he had heard your words and you shrugged at him.

Stephen came closer to you and your whole body tensed, expecting him to trick you in some way. He closed the gap between you too and his lips brushed yours in a sweet kiss while he whispered in your ear :

« Let the game begins »

Next thing you knew, your environment changed. You stepped away from Stephen who grinned madly at you and then activated a spell. He muttered indistinct words while a bright fiery light blinded your eyes. You groaned and rubbed your eyes, sweeping away the weird feeling.

« What have you done, Stephen? »

Two deep blue pools locked with yours and a blush reddened your cheeks. Without noticing, you said shyly :

« Stop looking at me like that, you 're turning me on » you blurted out.

Immediately you put a hand on your mouth, startled by what you had just said. Stephen raised an eyebrow at you and said to Loki who was standing next to him.

« Compelling her, to tell the truth, was indeed a good idea Loki. I think I'm going to enjoy it fully. »

You frowned and turned to Loki.

« You, handsome god, was it your idea?!Why did you agree to help my dear sorcerer ? » you asked, growling at the end of the sentence.

An evil grin spread on the god's lips.

« I never refuse to prank someone, darling. Your man asked me so nicely I could not deny his plea. Now, I shall take my leave. Enjoy the show, Strange »

Then Loki vanished in the air, leaving a trail of green smoke behind. Your heart was pounding heavily in your chest, and you pondered which words would leave your lips and reveal the true meaning of your heart.

Stephen gently grabbed your hand.

« Are you mad at me, Y/N? I had warned you, I would get my revenge. »

Your senses seemed enhanced as a tingling feeling at the touch of Stephen made your knees turned into jelly.

« You did. The question is, how long is the damn spell going to last? »

You looked at his features, his elfin cheekbones slightly glistening at the sunrays, his sharp jaw you liked to cup in your hands, his ebony hair perfectly settled on his head and the tempting white strands you liked to grab to tease him. Finally, your gaze focused on his eyes, his mesmerising blue eyes which always took your breath away and which conveyed such emotions in one look. The seducing tone piercing through his deep voice sent shivers down your spine as he sais :

« As long as I wish »

You were definitely in bad trouble.

He nibbled your ear and your breath got caught in your throat.

« Your teasing revenge is torture. But why do I like it so much ? » you whined, wrapping your arms around his shoulders, keeping him close to you.

The man of your damnation was also the one you could not escape and the one you wanted the most. Such a vicious circle, he had you wrapped around his finger and he knew it.

He hummed in agreement and hugged you close, his face nuzzling into your neck.

« You are completely under my spell, love and I'm going to make you never forget that no one can trick me so easily without payback. »

You boldly counted :

« I won't stop trying »

He laughed.

« Why do you think I'm so pleased? You triggered my inspiration, dear. »

He put his hand on your waist and looked at you, a wide grin lightening his face. Oh, how much you wanted to kiss right now to erase this grin on his face. However, your thoughts escape your lips.

« Kiss me. »

And he gladly did.

Then Wong stepped in and rolled his eyes when he was the two of you kissing. However, the moment you saw Wong, the spell forced you, to tell the truth, breaking your promise to never tell Wong was part of the trick.

« Wong helped to trick you, Stephen. »

Stephen tensed, as well as Wong who stopped dead in his track. He narrowed his hazel eyes at you and you looked at your feet.

« Please don't kill me, Wong, I'm under the spell of Stephen. »

Wong sighed.

« I already knew that ! »

You shook your head.

« No, I mean, he cast a spell which forced me to tell the truth. Loki helped and now I 'm paying for the prank we did to him »

You added.

« What do you mean, you already knew? »

Wong simply stated.

« You are glowing when Stephen is near you. It's obvious you are under his spell as well as he is under yours. »

You blinked and Stephen broke the silence.

« You were part of the prank too, huh? It seems I'm gonna need Loki again, Wong. »

Wong looked at him, as stoical as usual but you could all hear Stephen said as he walked away.

« The game is on. »
