'Cause if you liked it, then you should have put a ring on it
If you liked it, then you should have put a ring on it
Don't be mad once you see that he want it
If you liked it, then you should have put a ring on it
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh'

Both you and Stephen snickered, both of you laying your eyes on Wong as he danced along to Beyoncé, Single Ladies. It was rather an amusing sight to them, and they couldn't help but stop for a moment their plan as you laughed your heads off. Stephen was trying to keep a poker face on, but as he turned to look at you; he couldn't help but laugh with you.

Wong seemed to notice something wasn't right in the library, turning sudenly towards his back to see everything in place and no one around since the library had closed hours ago. He narrowed his eyes, his gaze darting around every single dusty corner of the place. He stayed still for a moment, shrugging as he unpaused his music and continued dancing along the song as he read his book.

Back to Stephen's room, which is where you currently were elaborating in your oh so evil plans to steal some books, you both were still laughing nonstop.

You both had to lean on the wall for support, eventually falling on your knees as you both clutched your stomachs and tried to stop laughing. It had gotten to the point were laughing hurt and you had your mouths open as you then just laughed silently at the lack of air in your lungs.

"I-I can't do this Stephen. This is a really serious and dangerous situation we've got in hand." You managed to say, wiping off the tears of laughter that had managed to blurr your sight.

He was now laying limply on his back, clearly tired from lauhing way too hard. He had an arm draped over his stomach, letting out a shaky laugh as he closed his eyes for a moment.

"There is no other way to obtain those needed books Agent Buttercup. We have to remain strong and try with all our might to keep from laughing in front of the enemy." Stephen exclaimed dramatically, talking in a hushed tone as if the both of you were hiding from something or someone.

You pretended to reload an invisible gun, turning towards him as you tipped an invisible hat in recognition. "I am well aware of that Agent Cucumber, I'll try to stay strong. This books need salvation from the oh so horrible place called library. They are vital for our operation 'Studying'. We have to act quick!"

You jumped to stand, still pretending to hold the invisible gun as you offered a hand to Stephen to help him up which he gladly took as he dusted his clothes off. He took a deep breath, setting both of his hands on your shoulders and staring directly at you with a stern expression.

"If one of us doesn't come out alive of this... They shall elaborate a prank to their boss... Ancient One the Wig Master." He stated, looking down dramatically as he then clapped his hands and smiled widely. "Let's go on with our plan shall we? We have duct tape at our disposal if needed."

You nodded vigorously, waiting for him to open up the portal as you grabbed the bag laying in Stephen's bed to store in the books. Stephen then proceeded to open up a small portal leading inside the library, just to make sure Wong had gone back to what he was doing and not just going around and checking the library for any intruders.

He nodded at you confidently, making the portal bigger and reaching his whole arm in to fetch one of the nearest books he saw that was actually related to the topic you both had to study. He threw it at you once he had it and went ahead for another one.

You kept catching all the books in the bag, which was somewhat unnecessary since you were standing right besides Stephen. But you thought you could have some fun before having to stay up late to study about the mirror dimension and all the wonders behind it.

Your attention went over to a specific book that caught your attention for some reason. You tapped Stephen's shoulder and pointed over it, watching as he smiled and gave you a thumbs up as it was just the book you both were looking for that would be the factor for you to pass your dreaded upcoming test.

"I'll go fetch it, you know what to do if Wong realizes what we are doing." He told you with a nod, goign through a new portal and disappearing off as it closed. A new portal opened up across the room and in a place where it would be easy for Wong to notice if someone was there.

Thankfully he was too engrossed in dancing to Beyoncé that he didn't notice.

Stephen made sure that his movements were not harsh or sudden, slowly approaching the book as he reached out with his hands to retrieve it. You watched closely, your eyes darting towards Wong to see him look at his now empty glass of water, picking up his phone to pause his loudly blaring music.

You immediately panicked, motioning Stephen to hurry up as you exclaimed a quick 'Hurry!' to alert him that your mission was in danger. His eyes widened, noticing with panic how Wong was about to look up. He motioned you to close the portals for a moment, which you did reluctantly.

The portals immediately disappeared, leaving you alone in Stephen's room together with all the books you stole. You set the bag down on his bed, pacing around the room for a while, deciding to open a small portal so you could get a glimpse of what was going on.

The portal appeared on a shelf, which was fortunately facing towards where Stephen had been just moments ago. You looked all around the room, noticing both Wong and Stephen gone. You feared for the worst. Maybe he had been discovered and taken over to Ancient One for his punishment. It could have been that or Stephen had saved his àss by hiding somewhere, which lead you to look around once again to see if you noticed where he was.

You sighed in relief you noticed a red glimpse in between two shelves. He was hiding behind his cloak which perfectly served as a hiding object as it blended altogether with the rest of the library. You closed the portal, keeping in mind where he was hiding to open a portal next to him.

You closed your eyes, openign them as you were sure and opened up another small portal, this time appearing right next to him. He didn't notice you though, which almost gave out your cover as he almost screamed when he looked to his side to see you through the small portal.

"Don't scare me like that again!" He whisper-shouted, shifting a bit in his hiding spot as he handed you the book, which you took in your hands and threw it back, watching as it landed on his bed before turning back to him. "It's not my fault you don't pay attention to your surroundings geez. Why didn't you make a portal and go through though?" You questioned him accusingly.

He rolled his eyes as he sighed. "Wong has been going around the library. You and I both are well aware that he has sharp hearing when it comes to portals." He answered in a hushed tone as he looked around the shelf in case Wong was coming. "We are only missing another book, but I know where is it. There is no problem with that."

You nodded in understanding, opening the portal more as you stepped out of it and closed it so you were sitting besides him. He seemed a bit angered by this. "Why did you do that! Don't you know it is highly dangerous to be here? You were perfectly safe in the room." He retorted lowly, watching as you rolled your eyes. "You are not going to be alone in this mission Agent Cucumber. Besides. Don't you love the adrenaline you feel at moments like this?"

He didn't say anything to that, which answered your question with a definite yes. You have known him for a while now to know that he loved moments like this.

You thought for a moment, moving into a crouching position as you tapped his shoulder to catch his attention. "Alright... We'll go in separate ways and retrieve the book as fast as we can. We need to be careful. Wong is close" You whispered in his ear, looking around and moving away as you slowly sneaked your way closer to the book that was laying on Wong's desk.

You watched as Stephen moved the opposite way, giving you an assuring thumbs up as he stealthily moved towards the desk at the same pace as you. You smiled to yourself, definitely having way too much fun for your own good.

You hid behind a shelf for a moment, approaching the book as you took it in your hands with a victorious smile, doing a small happy dance in celebration. You immediateky froze, hearing quick footsteps approaching where you were.

Definitely not good news.

You thought in your mind, ready to be busted by Wing only to see your partner in crime and studying, Stephen. He flailed his arms at you as he didn't hesitate to scream. "Run Agent Buttercup!! Run!"

Your eyes widened, knowing Wong had discovered the both of you. You quickly placed the book inside the bag and took off, Stephen trailing behind you and soon catching up in pace with you. You could hear Wong's protests and footsteps approaching you from behind at a dangerous pace, urging you to run faster. Adrenaline pumped through your veins, giving you a surprising amount of energy as you started making a portal in the distance.

"Stop right there you sneaky little book thieves!" Wong warned the both of you, a smile grazing both of your lips as you were quickly approaching the portal without any problems, which made you worry a bit since Wong never let you go that easily.

Without any warning at all Stephen and you fell face planted to the floor in a sharp movement, the book falling out of your bag and skidding across the floor and halting to a stop right in front of Wong's feet. He had his arms crossed, shaking his head in disappointment at the both of you.

Yeah it was definitely too easy.

You both groaned simultaneously, lifting your heads up as you rubbed your face to try and relieve some of the pain. There was definitely going to be a bruise there later on. A very nasty and purple bruise.

"Agent Cucumber." You groaned, moving slowly into a sitting position as you tried to blink the blurriness away. "We have been caught. It was nice to be your partner I will be glad to take all the fault in this." Stephen sighed in frustration as he sat up, shaking his head as he took your hand in his in an assuring action.

"Impossible Agent Buttercup. If someone is going down, it will be us. But it will be together Agent." He whispered, his eyes closed as he tried too to blink away the blurriness and the pain. You both were forced to stand by Wong, grabbing you firmly by the back of your shirts as he dragged you towards the exit of the library. "Shut it you both. This is no spy game don't you understand?"

You both didn't answer, too dazed to make a proper answer.

"Of course the both of you ar guilty of this even though one of you takes the fault in this. So any words against are of no use. Agent Right will take you to Ancient One for your punishment." Wong said seriously, though a smile was grazing his lips as he too played for a bit in the spy game you both were playing.

Both Stephen and you snickered as you replied at the same.

"Up in the club, just broke up
I'm doing my own little thing
You decided to dip and now you wanna trip
'Cause another brother noticed me
I'm up on him, he up on me
Don't pay him any atte-"

"Shut it you both! It is no crime to love Beyoncé!" Wong embarrassingly said, dragging the both of you out the library and across the training grounds.

Stephen stopped laughing as he then said. "Of course Wong. But all of this is your fault still for listening and dancing to Beyoncé when you are well aware that we are sneaky little sorcerers who want to pass a test."

Ancient One was already standing there with her arms crossed as she saw you both being dragged by Wong. She rubbed her temples and sighed in disappointment. "Do you really have to do this? You could well go and nicely ask Wong for permission to take some of the books."

You both knew Wong would never let you do that even though it was allowed since the both had an upcoming big test. Wong let go of the both of you, both sorcerers watching as you and Stephen landed on your backs with a thud and a groan. Ancient One leaned down with an accusing smile.

"Alright kids, which of you both came up with this?" She asked calmly, watching as you both scrambled into a sitting position. You and Stephen shared a glance and a nod as you crossed your arms and said at the same time as Wong.

"You know they both did it! You and I both know they always do this and they get in problems!
"Stephen's cloak did it! Don't you know it has a mind of it's own and is capable of being a master criminal mind?!"
"I have no argument whatsoever in this. My mind is blank of ideas so don't look at me like that!"

Ancient One watched the both of you for a moment before making you stand up and pushing you in the mirror dimension, throwing in the books you had in Stephen's room a moment ago which indicated she had been there and knew very well you were the ones responsible.

You both landed with several 'oofs' and 'ouch!' coming from the both of you. Ancient One smirked as she turned around. "There. You both can study for your test. Now let poor Wong listen to Beyoncé"

The portal closed and you both looked at each other. "Yeah she will totally forget about us and we're missing that exam." Stephen spoke in behalf of you, wide smirks appearing on your face.

"I am Agent Buttercup!" You exclaimed, standing up as you fisted the air in victory and held your invisible gun. "And I am Agent Cucumber!" Stephen exclaimed as he did the same, the both of you standing side to side as you exclaimed together.

"And we are the Magical Partners in crime!" You both laughed together, Stephen's eyebrows furrowing in confusion. "Wait... Why is my name Cucumber?"
