"Finally, some time for myself" You spoke enthusiastically, sitting back on the couch woth a bowl of popcorn settled on your lap. You grabbed the remote control, pointing it at the TV and turning it on, immediately opening up Netflix. As you browsed through the series you smirked, looking around to make sure no one was near to see. Even though no one could be on your house in that moment. When you were completely sure no one was, you immediately selected one of your favorite series of all times.
Sherlock
You thought it was simply extraordinary. You loved every single episode from the series. How Sherlock seemed to know the story of everyone with just one look. How he risked his life to always prove he was right. But the thing that made you curious was how identical he looked like Stephen.
Of course, Stephen had a beard and he always used his regular blue outfit, but he was really really similar to Sherlock. Just shave Stephen, curl his hair and match the color and Boom! They were the same. You wondered if it was possible that they were the same person. But you thought maybe Benedict just looked really alike to both.
You clapped your hands together, watching as another episode began. This time it was A Study in Pink, which you didn't mind since you were just binge watching it again. It was quite intriguing to say the least.
As you watched with amazement the Tv, you didn't see at all the shadowed figure peeking in the room. They stared at your figure for a moment, their gray eyes traveling up to the TV. They widened at the sight of Sherlock, making them step out of the shadows.
"Holy crap is that me?!" He spoke loudly, making you yelp in surprise, the bowl of popcorn flying off and to the floor. The popcorn layed all around the couch, making you groan as you turned to look at Stephen with furrowed eyebrows, your hands being quick to turn off the TV. Though you were sure he pretty much noticed the similar looking man on the Tv.
"Uh... no?" You answered his question, watching as he approached the couch and tried to take the remote from you. You clutched it in your hands, not planning to let go some time soon. "You liar, give me the remote. I want to see who that man is." He replied stubbornly, doing another attempt to snatch the remote back.
"First of all. No. Second... How did you get in my house? I thought every door and window were closed." You said, scooting away to let him sit down, seeing how he would be there for a while. "You are proper weird Stephen" You added, watching as he faked hurt, setting his hand on his chest. "Wha... Proper weird? I consider myself a decent man." He spoke with pride.
You rolled your eyes, leaning down to pick up the popcorn and setting them back in the bowl you had. "Says the man who gets in a girl's house in the middle of the night." You answered, setting the bowl on the table and turning your gaze to Stephen, seeing him with a victorious smile as he had the control in his hands. You mentally cursed, trying to get it back and preventing him from turning it on. But it was a failure as he achieved what he wanted, pressing play and watching with curiousness as Sherlock appeared on screen. You both sat side to side in silence, you laughing every now and then by some funny parts.
"Stephen, I didn't know you were an actor" A voice spoke up, making the both of you scream in surprise, the freshly made popcorn flying off and around once again. You both looked at the doorframe, seeing Ancient One standing there with her arms crossed. "What the hell! How did you get in my home?!" You asked her, watching as she shrugged, walking towards the both of you and sitting on the couch next to yours.
"The door was open. I supposed you were in danger, but now I see it was just Stephen who left it open." You glared at him, watching as he smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck. "Oops?" He said hesitantly, scooting away a bit from you in case you were intending to hurt him.
"Alright then. What are you both watching?" Ancient One asked curiously, looking at the screen, seeing how Sherlock looked over to the dead body of a woman dressed in pink. The three of you kept silence as you watched the scene with interest. Sherlock suddenly spoke up. "Shut up" He spoke up, interrupting the silence as he looked over at Lestrade.
"I didn't say anything" The Inspector spoke in confusion. "You were thinking, it's annoying" He answered as he looked back at the body. Stephen raised a brow at that as he looked towards you. "How did he know that he was thinking?" He asked you, Ancient One seeming to have the same question.
You merely shrugged as you paused the show. "I am not sure. That is how Sherlock is... Isn't that program amazing?" You said with enthusiasm. Stephen rolled his eyes as he layed his head on his hand. "You find that man handsome don't you (Y/N)?" He said with a hint of jealousy. You furrowed your eyebrows in response. "That isn't the only reason why I like him. He can know someone's background by just one look. He has solved the most bizarre and confusing cases there is." You said, picking up the popcorn. "It is hard to explain, it would be so much better if you knew him in person."
Ancient One smiled slightly at the last statement, looking at the both of you. "Perhaps there is a way to do that." She said, watching as your eyes widened and you jumped on your feet. "There is a way to meet Sherlock Holmes?! The Sherlock Holmes?!" You asked with excitement, smiling widely as you watched her nod.
"Indeed. There are many existent parallel universes believe it or not. Every time a fictional character is created, a new dimension is also created where this events are carried out. There are thousands of parallel universes currently in existence. We don't know, we might even be part of a fictional parallel universe." She said, looking past you and to the hidden camera on your kitchen, winking at the author and the readers. That woman definitely knew something the rest didn't.
Stephen crossed his arms, shaking his head vigorously as he stood up. He started pacing around as he spoke with anger. "No No No a million times NO. We aren't going to a parallel universe to meet a fictional character (Y/N) likes. That is a definite no." You rolled your eyes, standing up as you stopped him and stared at him with a smirk. "Oh Stephen... Are you jealous of that man because he looks a lot like you? Don't be. I will just hug him tightly and spread in his face that he indeed became a superhero in a parallel universe."
He glared at you with anger as he sat back down. Ancient One smiled as he took your hand and started guiding you outside. "Well, (Y/N) does want to come so I'll take her. You can stay here Stephen. Don't worry" She said in amusement, letting go of you as she started to create a portal. Stephen sighed, rubbing his temples as he followed the both of you outside, closing the door and going to stand next to you.
Ancient One took a moment, her hand moving around as she continued creating the portal. Soon enough the image cleared, and you couldn't help but immediately run in at the sight of the familiar looking door. You laughed in happiness as you knew where you were.
221B Baker Street
Stephen stepped right behind you, Ancient One coming last and closing the portal as she looked around. As you looked around, Stephen tapped your shoulder, pointing towards the door to see none other than John Watson staring at you with his mouth agape. You waved at him, snapping him out to reality as he took his keys out and tried to unlock the door, his eyes fixed on Stephen all the time.
The door slammed open from inside, Sherlock bumping right into an almost fainting John Watson. "John! I have been looking for you! There was another murder! The victim's chest was sliced open and their heart replaced with a rose. Another woman! This is amazing John! Almost like Christmas!" He spoke in excitement, putting on his coat as he walked past John's shocked figure and to the sidewalk, stopping at the odd sight of you.
He stared at the three of you for a moment, looking past you and to Stephen with a curious expression. "John" He said, looking back at poor John who was mumbling things to himself. "You didn't tell me this people were here. Are they your guests?" He asked with fake curiousness, knowing too well you were everything but guests right there.
John shook his head, closing the door as he walked to stand next to Sherlock. "No Sherlock they aren't. They came out of nowhere. Literally. They came out of nowhere!" He exclaimed to him, staring back at Stephen. "Sherlock... that man... he looks li-"
"I know John. I am aware of that man." He said, walking to you and standing right in front of Stephen, both men looking at each other intensely. Sherlock tilted his head slightly, his gaze travelling towards you as he narrowed his eyes, doing the same with Ancient One. "This is nonesense." He said after a moment of tense silence. "That can't be the case no no." He said as he looked back at John and to the three of you.
"Uh... hi?" You spoke hesitantly, watching as he turned his head sharply at you. Stephen decided to break the silence as he offered Sherlock a hand. "Hi. Uh... I am-"
"Stephen Strange, yeah I know." Sherlock interrupted him, hesitantly shaking his hand. Stephen furrowed his eyebrows. "How did you know my na-"
"That isn't important for you to know." He interrupted him once again, John looking at Stephen apologetically. "He is like that" He confirmed Stephen's question. He retreated to stand behind you. Sherlock watched unamusedly as Stephen whispered in your ear. "How did he do that?" He asked you. You merely shrugged as you answered him in a lowered voice. "That is how Sherlock is. Isn't it extraordinary what he can do?" You toled him with a smile, watching as Sherlock raised a brow, pride showing on his face as he fixed his scarf.
You soon remembered why you were there in the first place, surprising the consultant detective as you tackled him in a hug, making him stumbled back in surprise. He stood there awkwardly, watching you pull away as you shook his hand. "Pleased to meet you Sherlock. I am (Y/N) and I have to tell you I am a huge fan of your work. I don't think you are a freak at all. Look at you! You solve cases a way no one has ever imagined it is possible to do! Oh and before I continue, told ya! You do become a superhero I think... Cause you look exactly the same as Stephen! How's your brother? Can I see your house? Do you still have your friend skull or have you replaced it completely by John? What case are you investigating now? What shampoo do you use cause dear lord those curls are fantastic and so soft! Am I weirding you out? If so I apologize profusely but I just can't help but to say you are amazing!" You exclaimed quickly, Sherlock's eyes as wide as platters at the knowledge you had of him. He didn't seem to mind nonetheless as he took your hand and started guiding you inside. "John, you need to learn from her. She knows things from me and I haven't even met her yet. She might as well be reading my blog, which I am proud to say it is excellent. How did you find my blog? Are you interested in the science of deduction? How good are you in investigstions? Would you like some tea? Any biscuits or any other snack you would like? We need to discuss the science of deduction asap!" He said quickly, closing the door behind you and leaving a smiling Ancient One, a dumbfounded John Watson and an angry and jealous sorcerer with his arms crossed on his chest.
"Well... what now?" John asked, seeing you both wouldn't be coming out of the house soon now that you would be talking. Ancient One shrugged as she looked over at John. "Perhaps you can come with us. There is a universe I want to show Stephen. Where a certain hobbit lives."
