The day you thought would never come in your life had come around so sudden. You weren't at all ready when Stephen proposed you, it had been a huge shock for everyone how HE, the man with a huge ego decided to propose to you in such a romantic way.

He had prepared you dinner, having you received you with a loving kiss when you were back from your training session. You were curious as to why he was so welcoming all of the sudden, but you honestly didn't mind since you enjoyed spending time with him no matter what.

Surprises hadn't ended there. He had the room dimly lit, a vase with your favorite flowers at the center and several candles lit here and there around the room, giving the room small lighting, but not leaving it complete darkness. You enjoyed the dinner he prepared, finding it funny how he kept glancing at you every now and then, as if seeing hid reaction and making sure you liked everything that was there.

Of course you loved everything about what he had prepared, and you made sure to make him know by smiling genuinely at him, your eyes showing affection towards him. He seemed to relax a bit once he saw that, but he was still rather nervous.

Stephen NEVER got nervous.

Everything went smoothly, and you were happy to say it was one of the best nights you have spent together with him. You thought maybe he just wanted to show how he loved you, yet you still knew that Stephen was too proud to do that for no reason. So there had to be something going on in his mind.

Nearing the end of the evening, he had been somewhat quiet, staring at you for a moment as he stood up, offering you a hand with a side smile. "Would you dance this piece with me (Y/N)?" He told you after a moment, his side smile becoming a complete one as you stood up with a nod.

"Of course I would love to dance with you, but there is no mu-" You stopped midsentence as you heard music coming from somewhere. You looked around in confusion, trying to figure out where it was coming from. A strong yet gentle hand moved your head so you were staring at him. "It's a secret" He answered your unstated question, though he didn't really answer it at all.

You merely nodded, wrapping your arms around his neck and letting him set his hands on your waist, the both of you immediately starting to dance to the slow rythm. You both stayed quiet, no words felt to be needed in that moment as you both stared into each other's eyes.

As the music slowly regained a quick rythm, he smiled as he brought you closer to him, twirling you around so you were facing away from him. You felt him move away from you back, no word said as this happened. Your face regained a confused expression, turning around as your eyes widened at the unbelieveable sight in front of you.

Stephen had kneeled down in one knee, his hands holding a small dark blue box. You watched as he opened the small box, revealing a beautiful ring at the center, the lighting from the candles giving it a special shine. You stared at it, your eyes darting back towards him as you watched him clear his throat, seeming more nervous than he was already before.

"(Y/N)" He started off after a moment, looking at you all the time as he seemed to be thinking of what to say. "This past years... have been the best ones of my life. You had been there for me when I first came here, you helped me overcome what I had lost in that accident. You helped me stand back up on my feet when I would sink down in sorrow. You have been my reason to wake up everyday and having perseverance in my life. You... You have been the only one that has been able to cope with someone like me everyday" He said, saying the end with a slight laugh as he watched your joyous expression, taking the ring out of the box as he looked at you. "Will you marry me
(Y/N)?"

You smiled widely, tears brimming at the corners of your eyes as you nodded at his question, letting him put the ring on you. He stood up, quickly taken back in surprise and happiness as you tackled him in a hug, looking up at him as you wiped away the joyous tears you had cried. "Of course I'll marry you Stephen".

He leaned down close to you and cupped your face, connecting his lips with yours in the most loving kiss he has yet given you.

That memory still remained in your mind, and your life started changing for the good after that. Ancient One somehow had knowledge about it as she kept looking at you both with a knowing look, a smile on her face as you both continued with your lives.

You took your time to prepare the wedding. You didn't want anything big since you were happy with anything, if it meant you would marry Stephen at the end. The temple became a frenzy of smiles and whispering in between everyone, some having congratulated the both of you and others even offering to help you preparing the wedding.

Word had spread like fire and soon, everyone had knowledge of it. Many weeks were spent in the planning, but the outcome was truly beautiful at the end. You both had been separated a day before it since it was considered bad luck for the groom to see the bride a day before.

Things suddenly went fast for you, and you soon found yourself already ready for the ceremony, wearing a somewhat simple off the shoulder ball gown dress. You didn't want the dress to have much volume. Intricate white patterns were printed on it, barely visible but notorious if you got closer to it.

As soon as you were ready, you were taken through a portal to Jiuzhaigou Valley. You had never been there until Ancient One suggested maybe you would both like to hold the ceremony in there. As soon as you and Stephen has checked it out, you were sure that was the perfect place for you.

"Are you ready (Y/N)?" Ancient One asked with a smile, fixing small details in your dress as you both waited for your turn to walk in. You took a moment, taking a deep breath as you nodded, a smile gracing your lips as you readied yourself. "I was born ready Ancien One." You soon replied, your attention turning towards the soft sound that started emanating from behind the doors.

You could hear the beautiful music reach your ears, and soon enough, the doors were opened and you were motioned to walk in. You took a last look at her as you stepped in, hearing small gasps and aweing from several of the guests.

You soon started walking down the aisle, your attention fixed in the too fmailiar tall figure standing right at the front. His eyes never left yours as he waited for you to reach him, taking your hand in his as you both stood facing each other.

He looked stunning. He was wearing a black suit with tails: black dressing pants, white shirt, gray vest and black suit jacket with a bow tie. He had shaved for that occasion, and you were shocked at how the suit accentuated his features perfectly.

The ceremony started as soon as the music had ended. Everyone was silent, but no words were needed in that special moment. You were suprised at how fast it went by, and soon enough you were pronounced husband and wife. As you both shared a gaze, he pulled you close to him, officially ending the wedding with yet the best, and somewhat long kiss he has ever given you.

Everyone had a blast that night. Everyone was happy, having smiled on their faces as they enjoyed the celebration that followed the ceremony. The both of you were seated in a table together side by side, holding hands theoughout most of the night.

Ancient One suddenly stood up, calling everyone's attention as she held a glass of wine on her hand, looking throughout the guests as her eyes landed on the both of you. She smield as she started speaking as soon as she had their attention. "A wedding is a door to happiness" She stated, pausing for a moment. "It is the time when two decide to share their lives as one. Your marriage is an adventure bright and new Stephen, (Y/N)." She continued soon after, lifting her glass up as she finished. "We wish for you a lifetime full of love. And may you always keep that magical attraction in between both of you."

Everyone cheered, clapping filling the room as she sat back down, Stephen nodding at her gratefully as he returned to the chatting you both were having. Life surely had brought to you many surprises and the door to a world only a few knew existed. You never thought that He, the man with a huge ego and pride would want to spend the rest of his life with you.

But you were grateful he did.
