Depressed

Becky: *sighing sadly, thinking about something*

Snuffle: What's wrong with you? You're usually picking a fight with your brother or something. What's wrong?

Becky: Well, today I don't feel like it.

Snuffle: What's wrong? What happened?

Becky: Well, I've gotten into so many fights with Tess and then last night she called me worthless and said not to talk to her anymore and that her ex was right about me.

Snuffle: I see. Go on.

Becky: You really want to listen to me?

Snuffle: Yes, because I want to help you.

Becky: Okay, well anyway, she said that I'm too busy with my family and my boyfriend and that I don't enjoy talking to her or role-playing with her.

Snuffle: Uh-huh. Continue.

Becky: But I have always tried to make time for her. I can't help it if I'm busy with work or busy at home. Am I a bad friend for not making enough time for her?

Snuffle: No. You're not. Sounds to me like she's the bad friend. And you're not worthless. In fact you're the best friend anyone could ever ask for. You always try to make time in your busy schedule for your friends. I think she's just jealous that you have a lot of friends.

Becky: Yeah, that's what I'm beginning to think. She said we don't have to stop following each other, but what's the point in that if we're not going to talk each other?

Snuffle: True.

Becky: And I can't even bring myself to read her stories anymore. Or did I already say that?

Snuffle: No. But I think she needs to take the time and think about her actions. Think about what she's done to you and everyone else. Basically to look in the mirror. Because the way I see it, she should be grateful to have someone as sweet as you for a friend.

Becky: You mean that? You're not just saying that, right?

Snuffle: I really mean it. And frankly, I'm quite disappointed in her. And so is everyone she's hurt in the past.

Becky: Someone told me she used to torture her old friends in her stories just to get them to stay. But if she wanted them to stay, she should've treated them better. Instead of pushing them away.

Snuffle: That's a bunch of crap right there. Even you don't do that.

Becky: Because I know better. That's why.

Snuffle: Yes, and it seems to me that she does too but just doesn't care.

Becky: Yeah. What I want to know is why she treats people like that.

Snuffle: Probably because they too have busy schedules and can't be there 24/7 for her.

Becky: Maybe. Or maybe she just acts like she wants to be friends then shows her true colors. Happened to me once.

Snuffle: Well I say don't let it get to you anymore than it has. Just go on with your life the way you normally do and just be happy. Okay?

Becky: I'll try. Thanks.

Snuffle: You're welcome. Now go on, put a smile on your pretty face and do what makes you happy. Even if it's torturing your little brother.

Becky: Okay. Thanks.
