"Oh, baby Stay here, I'll come back; I need to speak with your baba," Yusuf nods.

In Yusuf's room, Alif and Farhan exited. Alif moved closer to Farhan and said, "Let's clean your wound."

"All right, let's go to that room," Farhan stated as he began walking, alif trailing behind him. When they came inside, Farhan rested on a nearby sofa, while Alif began gathering items to clean his wound.

Alif approached him. "All right, close your eyes and stay still." Farhan smiled and nodded.
She approached him, sat by him and began applying ointment to his wound. She touch his brow and cheek.

Farhan's heart was racing, and he could feel her palms on his cheek. Farhan wanted to hug her because she smelled so nice. When she said, "Open your eyes," he came out of his thoughts and did so.

She takes a step back.
"Okay, you're good to go... I'm on my way back to Yusuf "she explained. Farhan rose to his feet.

"Well. Thank you favorite doctor" Farhan said with smirk.

"All right..." she responded as she turned around. Farhan intended to take her hand in his, but he knew she wouldn't like it. He wants her to feel safe and comfortable around him. As a result, he refers to her as "Alif."

She turned to face him. Farhan moved closer to her. "What do you want to do with Saif," Farhan stated seriously as he came to a halt One foot away.

She gives him a serious stare. "I don't want him near you, I don't want him to hurt you," alif said, looking down. "I'm not going to talk to him, I'm very upset with him, and I thought he'd understand -"

"I'll get him out of here if you want me to" Looking her in the eyes, Farhan said.
She takes a step forward. She swiftly said, "No, don't do it." Farhan nodded.
"I need to cheek on Yusuf, then I will be heading home" alif said walking away

Yusuf closed his eyes as Alif sat next to him, caressing his hair. "Kiss me, favorite Doctor," Yusuf said as Alif smiled and kissed his forehead.

(Farhan was behind Yusuf door lisenting to their conversations)

"You know, I thought I'd never be happy again after my mother died...but then you came along and changed my life... " Yusuf admitted that when he stood up, tears welled up in his eyes.

"Today, Yusuf baby, cry... cry... let out whatever's inside you that's hurting you. Im  here to help you..." Looking into his eyes, Alif said.

Yusuf began weeping uncontrollably. He was hugged by Alif. His back was patted.
Along with him, she began to cry.

"Yusuf dear, I miss my mom too, but we can't keep staying in the same place our whole life. Look she will be always in your heart.... moms have a special place trust me" She said kissing him. She wiped his tears away.

(Farhan behind, had some tears in his eyes)

"Now smile," alif remarked, "I have wonderful news for you." Yusuf takes a glance at her.

"Starting next week, I'll be working here taking care of you," alif replied. Yusuf yelled loudly and hugged her... he began kissing her.

She laughed "alright...alright stop" Yusuf smile and step back.

"All right, I'll go now; I've got some work to do"

Just then Farhan enter "Baba....favorite doctor will be here with me next week," Yusuf remarked, smiling.

Farhan nodded and came near him kiss him.

"What's with up with you? Always kissing your favorite doctor? No kisses for me?" Farhan said pouting.

Alif smile looking at them. Farhan sigh and got up.

"One more thing, if I don't show up or don't contact you, please be a nice boy and don't bother your baba okay...," Alif added as she gathered her belongings.

Yusuf nods and said "but don't be gone long time ok"

Alif nodded. "One more kiss" Yusuf said leaning close to her. Alif smile she kissed his forehead
"Okay bye.... go to sleep...." alif said walking out Farhan following her behind.

They got inside Farhan started driving
"I love the meaning of your name " Farhan said breaking the wired silence.

She makes a pleasant expression. "Thank you... my parents chose it for me, they wanted to be special since I was their only child "

"So you don't have any other relatives?"

"No, because my father was Arab and my mother was Turkish, they ran away and married. They never received a response from their families. However, I lost them three years ago "alif said in a melancholy tone.

There was this silence no one said anything else.

"How about you?" She turn to him

"I lost my wife two years ago, in a car accident and I don't have any relatives, so it's just me and my son" alif nods.

"Don't you get worried or have that feeling while you're living alone for so long?" Looking at her, Farhan said.

"I lived with my best friend for a year and a half. I moved out for the next two years, my best friend went to Dubai for her studies and they wanted me to marry Saif because I didn't have any other options. They would tell me I'd be alone, and that's not good for a girl, bluh bluh... I began studying, obtaining scholarships, and moving from place to place... jobs... but Alhamdulillah, I now have everything I need. I believed Saif was the one, but" looking out the window she stated.

Farhan just look at her, he thought about her, 'she's a strong women, she Been through a lot'

soon they arrived. Alif got off she turn toward him
"Thank you" and then she left.

Farhan call his bodyguards to keep on her, keep her safe.

School ended, it's Monday she has to go to shah house. Her new job begins

Alif exited her house, locked it, turned around to face Saif, and instantly stepped aside.

"Love... look I am sorry" Saif said coming close to her. "Don't touch me" alif ordered walking away
"Fine listen to me... please please forgive me," Saif got down and begged her. Alif look at him. "Get up" she ordered, Saif got up with tears in his eyes.

"I am so sorry.." Saif said.

"You know you hurt me" alif said looking at him.

Just then Farhan arrived to pick her up.

Farhan got out of the car and right then Saif grabbed her hand once again.

"Please give us another chance we can be married if you want... we'll make it halal." Saif told Alif who she was crying and tears were flowing down her cheeks.

Farhan arrived at that precise moment. "Stay away from her," Farhan urged as he approached.

"She's going to be my wife.... I love her.. soo you stay away," Saif said as he returned to Alif.

"If you want, we can get married right now," Saif murmured, holding her hand.

Suddenly Farhan pushed Saif away.
"DONT YOU DARE TOUCH HER" Farhan shouted

"Please don't start another fight, I can't," Alif begged, her voice broken.

"She's mine, so I can do whatever I want with her... go away with your son... she'll be married today or tomorrow, and she'll have to leave you and your son behind," Saif said smirking.

Farhan became enraged and punched him. He collapsed on the ground. Farhan approached him again, intending to punch him. When Alif takes his hand in her. "Please go away and leave him alone," alif said. Farhan stood there, enraged, staring at her.

Saif rose from his position. Which he was standing behind her hiding like coward "Mark my words she'll be mine," Saif replied still smirking.

When Farhan heard his comments, he walked close to him again, intending to murder him this time. Alif took a position in front of him. Taking a direct look at him. "I told you to leave," Alif stated solemnly.

She turn to Saif and said "you too get out of here" Saif who look at Farhan and got terrified So he ran away. Alif turn around and ran back to apartment she quickly unlocked her door before she could twist open the door. Farhan block her which cause her to step back.

"I'm sorry," Farhan said, tenderly looking at her.

"Alright, look, listen to me"Alif moved away from him, quickly unlocking her apartment and entering. She was about to close her door when Farhan pushed it open, allowing him to enter and close it.
"I told you to leave me alone and get out now," alif said.

"Why are you mad at me" Farhan said getting close to her.

"Out now" she said stepping back slowly.

"But your working for me today" Farhan said
Alif look up " Not anymore.. I quit"

"Look, don't go there come with me..." Farhan said holding her hand.
"Don't touch me I said" she pull her hand back causing Farhan to turn to her.

"Marry me" Farhan said getting closer to her. Alif gasp

"You will be my wife" Farhan said getting hold of her hand tight.
