25⚡️Rescue
Not all those who wander are lost...
The weather turned cool after a heavy downpour, and the bridge was painted crimson. Dead bodies lay rotting amidst the silence of the night, one streetlight flickering ominously above. Tire marks marred the mud that had collected around the area, a testament to the chaos that had unfolded.
The scene had been a battleground where the most feared mafia in the underworld had nearly been annihilated by the cunning Song Jongki. Confident in his victory, Jongki believed he had Sri firmly in his grasp, but fate had other plans.

"We got her. Now she is ours." Jongki stood tall, commanding his men to pull Sri up to her feet. He reveled in the sight of her weakened state, blood loss and multiple wounds leaving her vulnerable. Her screams were music to his ears, a sweet reminder of his power over her.
But in a sudden burst of adrenaline, Sri pushed aside one of his men and sprinted toward the railing. Jongki moved to follow, but was met with a punch that sent him reeling—a blow far stronger than those Sri had delivered. Bewildered, he turned to find the blazing eyes of Jk, the Titans' leader, staring back at him.
Having dropped Taehyung at the hospital, Jungkook had raced to the scene, knowing Sri needed him now more than ever. Jimin was clever enough to notify him beforehand. He ordered his men to drive as fast as possible, fully aware that her daughter's safety hung in the balance.
However, the misled half of the Titans had arrived too late. Jungkook's heart sank as he took in the horrific sight: his sister kneeling in a pool of her own blood, while Taesoo was nowhere to be found, and Jongki was tormenting her.
Fueled by rage, Jungkook felt the primal urge to kill Jongki rising within him. All rational thoughts evaporated, leaving only fury. With a nod to his men, the Titans sprang into action, descending upon the half-dead Eclipse forces. They had just witnessed the kind of merciless gangster S could be, and her current state enraged them further. They would avenge her.
Jungkook wasted no time, landing a punch squarely on Jongki's jaw, feeling satisfaction as he broke at least a tooth or two. "Tonight, you're the prey, and I'm the predator," he rasped, his voice icy. A thunderclap echoed above them, the winds picking up with the intensity of the moment.
But nothing could deter Jongki now; he had accomplished what he set out to do. He either wanted S as an ally or to break her beyond recovery, and it seemed he had succeeded in the latter. Massaging his throbbing jaw, he spat out the bloodied teeth, the taste of victory mixing with bitterness. "Fool."
Jungkook knew he had planned something sinister. His eyes scanned the chaos until they landed on Sri, who was desperately trying to jump off the bridge. He didn't want to know the reason behind her despair, but his heart broke at the sight. "Get her!" he shouted, urgency lacing his voice.
Sherly dispatched her opponent with a swift and brutal move, blood spraying in arcs before she sprinted towards Sri. Just as Sri was about to leap into the abyss, Sherly reached her and yanked her back with all her strength. The moment they collided, Sri's blood soaked Sherly's clothes, turning them a deep crimson. It was a harrowing sight—Sri was a bloody mess, wounds oozing, and her strength waning as the life drained from her.
"You can't bring the dead back now, can you?" The sinister laughter of the Eclipse boss, Jongki, echoed ominously across the bridge, a cruel taunt that hung in the air like the oppressive rain.
For a moment, silence enveloped the scene. The fighting ceased as everyone turned to face Jongki. Another thunder rumbled in the night sky, and a flash of lightning illuminated the fearsome faces of the gangsters, their eyes glinting with malice. A flickering streetlight struggled to pierce the darkness, its dim glow reflecting the violence surrounding them.
Jungkook felt his eyes sting with fury. He clenched his fists so tightly that he feared his bones might crack under the pressure. He loathed Song Jongki from the core of his being; even the thought of his death would not satiate the wrath boiling within him. He wanted to torture Jongki for years—an eternity seemed fitting for the pain he had inflicted on his sister. The drizzle transformed into a torrential downpour, the rain mingling with the blood that painted the bridge.
"Boss! You should take her to the hospital!" Sherly cried, panic flaring in her voice as she struggled to keep Sri upright.
Jungkook slowly unfurled his fists, forcing himself to take a deep breath to quell the rage bubbling inside him. "If you go back to the base without Jongki, I'll bury you alive," he seethed, each word dripping with venom. "Each and every one of you." As soon as he finished speaking, his men surged forward, a tidal wave of fury aimed at the Eclipse boss.
Ignoring the chaos erupting around him, Jungkook approached Sherly. The sounds of combat faded into a muffled backdrop, eclipsed by the hammering of raindrops. His heart clenched at the sight of his sister, her body marred with deep, glistening wounds, each one a testament to the brutality she had endured. The relentless rain failed to wash away the blood, only mixing with it, creating a grotesque blend on the pavement.
With a swift motion, he scooped her up in a bridal carry, the warm wetness of her blood seeping through his clothes. "Where is Jimin?" Sherly voiced her concern, her voice strained with urgency.
The realization hit Jungkook like a physical blow. He had completely forgotten about him. He wasn't accustomed to seeing him in action; Jimin typically shied away from fights, preferring to strategize from the sidelines. It was reckless of him to lose track of Jimin, especially when he had played a crucial role in the plan.
"I'll search for him," Sherly declared, determination igniting her features. Without another word, she bolted back into the fray, her resolve as fierce as the storm overhead.
Dr. Yoongi completed his surgery and stepped out of the operating theater, fatigue settling heavily on his shoulders. He flexed his neck, feeling the strain of the long hours. His family had arranged a blind date for that night, convinced that a man near about fourty should be married and have children. He sulked as he walked to his cabin, the thought of sitting across from a stranger for dinner gnawing at him. He would rather adopt a puppy than marry someone. At least Holly would get a friend.
He flopped into his armchair, the plush fabric welcoming him as he sank into it. Switching on his cell phone, he was greeted by the sight of thirteen missed calls from his family—two from his elder brother, five from his father, and six from his mother. He was supposed to meet the woman at 7 PM, but it was now 8 PM. He set the phone back on the table and closed his eyes, savoring the solitude that he had successfully managed to cling to. But his blissful moment of peace was short-lived; the phone rang again.
"Can't a man have his sleep in peace?!" he gritted his teeth, annoyance bubbling within him as he answered the call.
"What the fuck do you want?" He didn't care who was on the other end; he was too exhausted to be polite.
"Dr. Min?" a voice he didn't recognize asked.
"No, it's an octopus speaking,"
"Is Dr. Taehyung there?" The man on the other side sounded unfazed by his tone.
Yoongi paused, realizing it wasn't the time for his usual sass. He cleared his throat and adopted a more formal tone. "Was he supposed to be here? And who are you?"
There was a commotion on the other side, and once it settled, the man replied, "He was supposed to be here. I've been trying to contact him, but his phone is switched off."
As far as Yoongi knew, Taehyung was with the Titans. Who was this unknown person trying to reach him? He took a moment to process the situation before carefully choosing his words. "Dr. Kim is probably in surgery. Am I speaking with a Titan?"
The line fell silent for a few seconds before a snicker broke through. "The boss."
Yoongi felt his throat go dry. He might want to kill every human in this world, but he knew the Titans would kill you even if you were an animal. "How may I help you?" he managed, keeping his voice steady despite the unease creeping into his chest.
"Sri has been wounded. She's bleeding. We'll be at the hospital in a few minutes. How do I stop the bleeding??"
His heart plummeted at Jungkook's words. Everything had just gone horribly wrong. He didn't want to think about what had happened to injure such a skilled woman. "Did you bandage the wound?" he asked, urgency flooding his tone.
"I changed it thrice in fifteen minutes."
"Is she conscious?"
"No."
"Better. Try pressing on the wound. I'll set up everything here. Oh, her blood type?"
"B positive."
"The best," Yoongi murmured, hanging up the call. A heavy weight settled on his chest as he bolted out of his cabin, adrenaline coursing through him. He raced down the sterile hospital corridors, each step echoing with the gravity of the situation. Lives hung in the balance, and he had to be ready for whatever awaited him.
Sri will never let this slide...
Park Jimin never fails to amaze. This was one of the most powerful Jimin solos
