11⚡️New Titan
Let go of the past but keep the lessons it taught you.
"Why you," the man growled, swinging his knife in a desperate attempt. Taehyung swiftly snatched it and plunged it deep into the man's shoulder. A scream tore through the cave as Taehyung followed up with punches until his assailant was paralyzed with pain.
"You came to kill us?" Taehyung's voice was deadly calm. "Now you're going to lead me to my daughter." His eyes were fierce, a fiery glare hidden beneath his tousled bangs. Just then, the clock struck seven, and Sri entered the cave, her clothes smeared with dirt, as if she'd just fought her way through a crowd.
"You're punctual," Taehyung remarked, his eyes narrowing at her disheveled appearance.
Sri glanced around the cave, noting the mess, then dismissed his comment. "What happened here?"
Taehyung stepped aside to reveal the half-conscious man sprawled on the ground.
"You did that to him?" An amused grin was plastered on her lips.
"He came to kill us. I just gave him a taste of his own medicine," he said, shrugging. "He knows about Taesoo."
Sri's amused grin shifted to a hardened stare. Together, they secured the man to a chair. She splashed cold water on his face, jolting him back to awareness. He groaned, his shoulder bloody and aching.
"I'll stitch you up if you cooperate," Taehyung said, crossing his arms, but the man only looked up at him with a blank, defeated stare.
"Where is my daughter?" Taehyung's voice was steady, yet laced with steel.
The man clenched his jaw, refusing to speak. In an instant, Sri pulled out her gun and fired at his foot. Taehyung flinched, caught off guard by the sudden noise.
"Where is my daughter?" she demanded again, her voice deadly calm as the man whimpered, biting his lip to keep from screaming.
When he remained silent, Sri sighed and took the knife from Taehyung. "If you want to wait outside, feel free," she offered, her voice smooth.
But Taehyung held his ground, voice firm. "I'm staying."
With a nod, Sri circled the man, her eyes glinting with venom. "Let's make a game of it. I'll keep hurting you, and you can't make a sound—unless you have something useful to say." Her tone was coldly amused as she held his gaze.
"Your boss seriously sent just one man to kill the queen of mafias?" Sri scoffed, her tone filled with disdain. "I've been training Taehyung for only a week or so... yet he still defeated you. And me? I've trained for years."
Her voice dropped, her gaze turning steely. "Now, for the last time... where is my daughter?" The man remained silent, defiant. Sri's expression darkened, her lips curling into a sinister smile. "Very well. Welcome to the world of S."
The man's face twisted in agony as she grabbed his pinkie, slicing into it in a slow, excruciating manner. He screamed, only to be cut off when she abruptly drove the knife into his thigh.
"I told you not to scream." Blood began to pool at his feet as he choked back his cries, his eyes wide with terror.
"SHE'S WITH THE ECLIPSE GANG!" he finally sobbed, surrendering under her merciless gaze. Sri paused, her eyes narrowing. The name was unfamiliar—this was a new threat.
"Who's the leader?" she pressed, while continuing with the torture.
Unable to endure more, Taehyung slipped outside. As he paced, he heard muffled screams from within the cave, each one making him wince. His heart was torn between the desperation to find Taesoo and the uneasy reality of Sri's harsh methods. He wanted to stop her yet that man was the only source to his daughter's whereabouts. He hated to see his wife doing those hideous jobs again.
He glanced up, distracted by the tranquil beauty of the night: a crescent moon cast its glow over the trees, stars blinked against the deep blue sky, and the distant hum of cars drifted from the main road.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Sri emerged, wiping the blood from her hands. "I'm sorry," she whispered, her expression softened by a hint of regret.
"Did he say anything?" Taehyung asked, pushing himself off the tree trunk to walk toward her.
"I got enough. According to him, the Eclipse gang has her. The boss is a man named Song Jongki. He's trying to... 'tame' me." She rolled her eyes, clearly annoyed. "Don't ask me why."
"Maybe there's some history," Taehyung replied, nonchalantly shrugging.
"Maybe, none that I can remember atleast." she echoed with a sigh. "He's passed out. Think you can patch him up?"
Taehyung hummed in response, and as he turned to go, she called his name. "Are you... angry with me?"
He paused, giving her a small, weary smile. "I'm not angry. You did what had to be done. These things, though... they'll always be a lot for me to handle. I don't think I'll ever get used to them." He took a deep breath, exhaling heavily. "But I can endure it. For you and Taesoo."
With that, he made his way down to tend to the prisoner, his determination to find their daughter strengthened as he stepped back into the shadows of the cave.
"FUCK!" Jungkook screamed, sweeping everything off his desk in a fit of rage. Jimin sat quietly in the corner, observing the storm of anger before him; an enraged Jk was terrifying. "She was my niece, and I didn't even have a clue!"
"It's not your fault, Jungkook. None of us could have known," Jimin tried to console him, though he himself was barely holding it together. Sri's child mattered to him as well.
Jungkook clenched his fists, his voice thick with frustration. "It's not about who's to blame. The reality is she's being tortured, and I failed to protect her. If only I hadn't been distracted!" He slammed his fist onto the desk, making Jimin flinch slightly. "And who knows if Noona's all right! I can't imagine how she must be feeling right now!"
Jimin took a deep breath and attempted to calm him. "She can handle herself, Jungkook. She might be worried sick, but she'll be all right." He emphasized the word 'all right' with quiet confidence.
Jungkook closed his eyes, taking deep breaths to regain his composure. "I need to clear my head... and fast. I'll come up with a plan. Jimin, take Namjoon and the others. Track down Jongki. We don't have time to waste."
Jimin nodded, standing immediately and leaving without another word. Just as he disappeared down the corridor, a tall woman entered the room, heels clicking purposefully against the polished floor.
"You called, Boss?" she asked, her voice laced with authority. Dressed in a sleek black one-piece dress and towering three-inch stilettos, she almost matched Jungkook's height.
"Sherly." Jungkook turned to acknowledge her, his expression softening just a bit. "Thank you for what you did today. You saved me."
"It was my pleasure, Boss," Sherly replied, bowing with respect.
Name: Lee Sherly
Age: 8 years younger than JK
Profession: Drug dealer of Titans. Also skilled in combat and weaponary. Surprisingly, she knew how to use every type of weapon.
Likes: Swag and savagery. Smart and bold.
Dislikes: Looked down upon. Weak mentality people.
"I have another job for you," Jungkook said, pulling his armchair closer to the desk and propping his legs up on the tabletop. The room remained a chaotic mess, papers strewn about and items knocked over in his earlier fit of rage. Sherly noticed the disarray but chose not to comment; her boss was already under enough stress. His usually cocky demeanor had vanished, replaced by an intensity that filled the air.
"You need to prepare a special group of men—an alpha team. Train them in every kind of weaponry and make them the best in combat," he instructed, his tone firm.
"Yes, Sir." She hesitated for a moment before asking, "Are you preparing for something?"
Jungkook's piercing gaze bore into her, sending chills down her spine. Despite her boldness, Sherly maintained a neutral expression. He clicked his tongue, pausing before answering, "Hell is going to get unleashed. Dismissed."
Sherly exited the room swiftly, the weight of his words hanging in the air. As she made her way out, she crossed paths with Jimin and Namjoon. Namjoon, wearing a white lab coat stained with patches of blood, must have been experimenting with one of the corpses. He offered a slight smile before continuing on his way.
Jimin, however, couldn't resist teasing. "Sherly girly? Did the boss scold you?" he said, mockingly blinking his eyes at her.
Sherly rolled her eyes, teeth gritted. "Shut it, midget."
"Ha! First take off those three-inch heels of yours," Jimin fired back. Their banter was an ongoing saga since they first met. For some inexplicable reason, they were always either mocking or bickering with each other. Once, during a mission, their childish antics had led to disaster, almost costing them their lives. Jungkook had been just a hair's breadth away from shooting them both for their incompetence. They hadn't worked as partners since.
"Whatever, a midget will always be a midget," she shot back, raising an eyebrow and intentionally provoking him.
Jimin swore he would have thrown hands if she were a guy. But alas, he could do nothing but respond with a sassy comeback, "I'm older than you. You should call me oppa."
She scoffed, "Never in a million years." With that, she strutted away, leaving Jimin standing there, fists clenched as he punched the wall beside him in frustration.
Sherly had grown up in a harsh environment. With no mother and a gangster father, life was anything but easy. Though her father provided for her, their existence was fraught with difficulties. By middle school, she found herself involved in minor illegal activities, like alley fights and drug deliveries. She even worked for a small group of thugs in high school, where she learned to fight and handle weapons. A sharp and quick learner, she became braver than most men in the gang.
But everything changed four years ago when her father was killed, and the police finally caught her gang. She managed to escape, and in her search for safety and belonging, she found herself at the doorstep of the Titans.
Sherly gathered her courage and pushed open the massive iron gate. Almost immediately, the guards pointed their guns at her, but she wasn't scared. "I WANT TO JOIN THE GANG!" she declared, her voice steady.
"Do you even know who we are, girl?!" one of the men responded rudely, eyes narrowed in disbelief.
"Who doesn't know about the Titans?" She smirked, her confidence unwavering.
"Well, then you must know how dangerous we are. This isn't an amusement park. Go back to where you came from," the same guard replied dismissively.
"Don't judge me by my looks. I can defeat all four of you at once," she challenged, a fire igniting in her spirit. Provoked, the guards tossed aside their weapons and charged at her.
Sherly dodged the first punch and swiftly slapped the attacker away. Grabbing another guard's fist, she struck his neck, rendering him unconscious almost instantly. She arched her back to evade a flying kick, supporting herself on her hands before vaulting back onto her feet. Flipping the loose strands of hair away from her face, she landed a powerful kick to the assailant's face, sending him to the ground, groaning.
As she swung her elbow, someone blocked the hit from behind. Before she could react, he landed a punch to her stomach, and she staggered back from the impact. Her heart raced when she saw a well-built, handsome man before her, adorned with piercings and tattoos covering his right arm. His presence was darker than the black cat that roamed their alley.
Yet, Sherly wasn't ready to surrender. She needed to prove herself to join the gang; it was her only chance to avoid jail. Pouncing at him, she launched another attack, but he effortlessly blocked it once again. His intimidating eyes seemed to freeze her in place. With a swift motion, he twisted her arm behind her back, and she groaned in pain. He then struck her with his elbow, knocking her to the ground. The metallic taste of blood filled her mouth.
Glaring at him fiercely, she noticed something unsettling—he looked eerily empty. His expression resembled that of an emotionless doll; there was no anger, no hatred, no curiosity—just a blank stare. The other guards maintained their distance, and she involuntarily gulped, feeling a knot form in her throat.
The man walked closer and extended his hand toward her, catching her off guard. "JK. Welcome to the world of Titans," he said, a hint of amusement in his voice.
Staring back and forth between his hand and face, Sherly's mind went blank. She hadn't expected this act of kindness—most of all, she hadn't realized she had just attacked the boss of the Titans.
As if jolted by electricity, she dropped to her knees and bowed. "I'm sorry, Sir! I didn't mean to attack you! I just wanted to prove my worth—that's it. Please forgive this act of carelessness. I truly apologize for my behavior." She kept bowing, her heart racing.
Jungkook was amused by her bravery. This girl was something special. Her fighting style was that of a well-trained warrior, hitting all the right targets with precision. Despite her injuries, her spirit remained unbroken.
"Jimin, check what she's capable of. Assign her a position based on that," he commanded, walking away and leaving her still kneeling in shock. Call her a maniac, but Sherly found him undeniably cool.
The boss was soon replaced by a man with pink hair. He introduced himself as Park Jimin and led her to an interrogation room to ask her some questions.
As expected, things didn't go smoothly, and they ended up bickering with each other. Nevertheless, she was accepted into the gang. Over the next four years, she trained hard, proving her worth time and again. By the end of that period, she had established herself as a vital member of the world's most infamous gang, the Titans.
