Where Can a Piece of Paper Lead You To?
Dobb looked up to where the paper might've come from, but there were too many books to find the paper's book. Then instead of looking for the book he started to read the paper.
Apparently it was the 27th page of it's book and had a swirly letter-type.
"Blood-red, dark purple and black roses are what they call the true monster's flowers. No one but the little girl's doll Mar-" Huh? The name of the doll is covered with ink. Maybe it is written somewhere over here too...
"could prevent the other doll to hunt her, but she disappeared for no reason. And was replaced by D-" D what? Why are the names covered with ink?! Is it because someone doesn't want people to know about this? Tch!
Suddenly, Dobb's strings on his fingertips went loose again and covered the letters of the names, making them a lot easier to read.
Maria?! and... Dobb?! The mayor... the mayor! He must know something about this!
Dobb stood up and ran towards where the mayor was. "Mayor, mayor!" Dobb shouted as he panted, "Mayor... doh... do you know anything about this thing?!" The mayor looked at Dobb then the paper, "It does sound familiar but I don't remember where the original dia- I mean the book is."
Dobb started glaring at the mayor, "Mayor, no, Hebrew there is something or more than something that you are not telling me! Spit it out right now!" Dobb shouted in a frightening way. He was pissed, so pissed that he could use his strings to rip off mayor's head.
The mayor lived in a town, filled with creatures and monsters far more scarier than Dobb, but the pressure that Dobb was putting on him made him far more frightened. "I told you to spit it out, or do you want me to give you special treatment for it?" Dobb said in a threatening, low voice.
"I-I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I don't know much, b-but I'll tell you everything I know. So please don't hurt me. Please." the mayor wobbled.
"Good... now spit it out!" Dobb said.
