The mayor was trembling in fear, but he couldn't run away because my strings were surrounding him, not physical contact, but could squeeze or cut him into pieces if he tried to run away or even shout.

"Well then, Mr. Mayor. What the doll is going on?" Dobb said, with sarcastic smile and voice.

"W-well as I just said earlier, there is a diary i-in this library. And I came here with the excuse of cleaning the library to look for the diary. A-and I looked everywhere that I could think of when you went running towards the bookshelves, but I couldn't find it." the mayor said.

"Hmmm, that is not enough information... Oh by the way, to whom does that diary belong to? It surely doesn't belong to YOU, does it?" Dobb said, scaring the mayor even more causing him to not even DARE to lie.

"N-no it doesn't belong to me. I don't know it's owner 'personally' or have got detailed information about her. The only thing that I know is that her name was something like Ally, Allic, or maybe Ali-" Dobb cut him off just before he said the name and continued himself, "Alice?! Was her name Alice?!"

"Yeees it was!" the mayor wobbled. Dobb's button eyes widened with excitement and curiosity, "Help me..." Dobb said in a low voice. "E-excuse me?", "Help me find the diary!" Dobb said turning to the mayor. "Y-yes, I'll help you!" the mayor said, "But... will you let me go if I help you find it?" the mayor continued while shaking.

"Of course!" Dobb replied, as he walked towards the depths of the library with the mayor infront of him. "But just as I told you, I don't know where the diary is exactly. I can only help you find and solve the clues." the mayor said. "Oh, it's okay. Besides I think I know where we can start looking." Dobb said.

They went to where Dobb found the piece of paper. It was the bookshelf with the legend books. "Here, I found this page here." Dobb said. "Here? But why...? out of all the places... why did he choose here?" the mayor mumbled.

"'He'? Who is he mayor?" Dobb asked. "I'm afraid, I don't know either..."
