Chapter 15
July 15th, 1960
7:34 p.m.
"Darling, c'mere!" Paul beckoned, patting the spot on the blanket next to him.
"Yes, sir..." I joked, sitting down next to him, he wrapped an arm around my shoulders pulling me closer to him.
Paul and I had decided to just get food from someplace and have a picnic of sorts on a hill overlooking the city.
I sighed leaning into him as we looked up at the stars together. "Beautiful aren't they?"
"Absolutely..."
"So, is um George sneaking over to yer house later tonight?"
I blushed looking down at our entwined hands, I nodded avoiding eye contact with him.
"Do you like 'im?"
"What do you mean?" I asked nervously, cocking an eyebrow at him.
"Y'know, do you ever think of 'im as more than just a friend?"
"I-I well, no, I don't know why?" I mumbled nervously, butterflies beginning to flap around in my stomach at the thought of George being a potential suitor.
"Just curious, you spend a lot of time together and I just hope I've made a good enough impression on you that you maybe 've changed yer mind." He smirked, as I blushed and looked up into his big doe eyes.
"Mm, I think you've made an impression that'll last a lifetime..."
He grinned down at me as I leaned up and placed a kiss on his perfectly shaped eyebrow.
"Mm..." he hummed, pulling me into his lap, wrapping his arms around me.
"Paul!" I squealed when I felt his perfectly plump lips brush the tender skin underneath my ear.
"Shh, baby relax..."
I nodded, my breath catching in my throat and my heart racing, as he continued to plant kisses from my ear down to my neck.
"Do you like that?" He smirked, nipping the skin on my collarbone.
"Yes, Paulie..." I moaned squirming around in his lap, he smirked against my now sensitive skin, pushing me off his lap and laying me back onto the blanket covered ground.
"Jacqueline, you look bloody marvelous laying there with yer hair all sprawled out like that..." he mumbled, settling himself down between my legs.
"Paul..." I whined, pulling his head closer as he smashed his lips back down onto mine with great fervor.
I smiled into the kiss, as I felt his hand begin to roam up and down my side agonizingly slow.
I moaned softly against his perfect lips as he gently bit down on my bottom lip.
"Paulie..." I shuddered allowing him entrance into my mouth. He smiled, humming against my lips as he explored my mouth, his other hand that wasn't roaming up and down my side now slid up to gently caress my cheek.
"If we don't stop now, I don't think I'll ever be able to..." He panted, resting his forehead against mine.
"Maybe I don't want to stop..." I whispered, lips brushing against his as he gripped my leg that was rubbing against his waist.
"Naughty little girl..." he growled, lowering his lips back down onto my neck causing me to moan, I played with the hair covering the nape of his neck.
"Jacqueline..." He panted, moving his lips back up from my collarbone to meet mine own lips.
"Yes, Paulie..." I whispered looking at him in awe, as he laid beside me; lips swollen and eyes heavy lidded.
"I really like you..."
"I like you too Paul..." I murmured, as he wrapped an arm around me pressing a tender kiss to my temple, before helping me up and driving me home.

12:30 p.m.
"C'mon Love, only a few more. I want something to take with me to Hamburg, so I can look at yer gorgeous face everyday I'm not 'ere with you." He explained, holding the camera back up to snap another picture of me.
"Georgie, you've taken about twenty how many more do you need?" I laughed sitting down on the bench, only to have the camera in his hands flash directly into my face.
"This'll be so cute, you looked shocked." He grinned, sliding onto the bench next to me.
"Let's see, I've got about twenty one pictures right now...forty eight days in Hamburg I'll need about twenty seven more. Then I can 'ave a new picture of you everyday."
"You're a dork..."
"But I like to think 'm yer dork..." he chuckled, pulling me over towards him. I tittered resting my head on his chest as he traced patterns onto my back with his fingers.
We sat in silence for a bit just huddled up on the bench together. "Y'know if you'd come with me I wouldn't need the rest of those pictures..."
I laughed, moving so my chin so it rested on his chest allowing me to look at him.
"Georgie, I told you already my parents wouldn't allow it, I don't even have the money-"
"Money's no object, I've got enough to pay fer you to go." He interjected quickly, smiling down at me.
"George, I can't just take your money like that it's not right to be a mooch."
"I want you to come with me, lovey! Whose going to keep me warm at night when yer not there?"
"George...you're gonna get over there and see so many girls you'll forget about this conversation, ok?"
He shrugged, his eyes sadly downcast at the ground as he pulled me tighter against him.
"George, c'mon don't pout, it's not cute."
"'M not pouting..."
"You are too!" I joked, glancing up at him and taking in his sharp jaw.
"Will it make you feel better if I say I'll think about it?"
He nodded, smiling slightly as he placed a tender kiss on my cheek. Sighing I reached up and ran a hand through his quiffed up hair.
"Mmm..." he hummed, grabbing the hand I had resting on his head and bringing it down to his lips.
"Georgie?" I asked, my voice trembling from the contact of his mouth on my hand.
"Mhm?" He hummed, looking directly into my eyes.
"Are you hungry?"
"What kind of question is that? You know 'm always up fer food. Where'd you want to go?" He jumped up, pulling me with him as we began walking across the park.
"I don't care...I'll go wherever you'd like to go." I glanced up at him exchanging smiles with him.
"What about the diner on 52nd?"
"Fine by me..." I agreed, as we walked along hand in hand.
"Can I um, ask you something?" His voice quivered nervously, he reached up to scratch the back of his neck with his free hand.
"Sure..." I blinked nervously, anticipating what his question would be.
"Jackie, will you go to with me to this wedding me and the lads are playing on the twenty seventh of this month?" He blushed furiously, as he struggled to get the question out.
My stomach erupted with butterflies, as I looked down at our entwined hands. "L-like a d-date?" I asked, voice shaking as he grinned at me shyly.
"Yes-Well no, I mean it could be if you wanted it to be. But it's not if you don't want it to be, I mean we'd just be going as friends y'know and-" he rambled nervously, as he blushed and avoided all eye contact.
"O-of course I'll go with you..." I smiled, avoiding eye contact with him.
"Really? You'll go with me?" He beamed, pausing our walking and engulfing me in a hug.
"Why wouldn't I? Silly boy..." I giggled, smiling as he tenderly placed a kiss on my nose.
"'M glad you'll go with me! Yer going to look absolutely gorgeous I can hardly wait to see you."
"I've gotta go dress shopping soon if it's on the twenty seventh."
"Want me to go with you?" He asked pulling open the diner's door for me.
"If you want." I smiled, feeling giddy inside as he dragged me over to a table and sat down across from me.
"Yer going to look so beautiful..." he whispered, reaching out to hold my hand across the table, his eyes scanning the menu.
I smiled bashfully, stealing glances at him every once in a while at his brows knit together in concentration as he throughly studied every item on the menu, sometimes smiling as he read the description of the meal.
"What are you looking at?" He grinned, smirking at me over the top of his menu.
"Nothing..." I laughed, casting my eyes down to avoid his mesmerizing stare.
"Yer blushing..." he chuckled folding his menu up and setting it down on the side of the table.
"Am not..."
"It's ok if you are...I think it's cute." He winked smirking, giving my hand a slight squeeze before the waitress came back over to take our order.

6:07 p.m.
"He asked you to be his date again? But this time to a wedding?" My Mother squealed, practically bouncing up and down in her spot on the sofa.
"Who did?" My father asked, walking into the living room with a cocked eyebrow.
"Never you mind dear, just go get ready for dinner." My mom spoke, he nodded and dismissed the issue before heading up the stairs.
"We are going as friends again just like today, and yesterday." I huffed, partly annoyed at her for trying to blow everything out of proportion.
"I'm taking tomorrow off work and we'll go dress shopping!"
"But, George is going with me tomorrow to find a dress." I whined, as she smirked shaking her head at me.
"No, he needs to be surprised when you walk your cute little self down those stairs on the twenty seventh..." she paused motioning to the stairs grinning wildly.
"He'll be wrapped around your finger even more than he already is. Go call him and tell him that there's been a change of plans and he won't be going shopping with you." She ordered, smiling as she sipped her nightly glass of red wine.
"But-" I started only to have her hold her hand up to silence me.
"Go on! Go!" She motioned as I rolled my eyes, "oh and Jackie?"
"Yes, mom?"
"You're father and I are leaving the day after tomorrow to go to Scotland on a business trip."
I nodded, huffing as I stood up and headed for the kitchen phone, dialing the number and listening to the phone ring hoping maybe nobody was home.
"'Ello?"
"Hi Georgie, look I just told my mom about the wedding and all and she has decided to just take me shopping, because she wants it to be a surprise when you see me."
He chuckled into the phone, "That's ok, love...do you still need a cuddle buddy?"
"I always need a cuddle buddy..." I giggled, blushing as I twisted the phone cord around my finger and leaned against the wall.
"Alright, I'll see you around nine thirty then?"
"Of course..." I tittered, before placing the phone back down onto the receiver.
