Eren smiled down at Levi and how cute he was acting. Then, he did something unexpected, but he would never say he regretted doing it. Making sure that Levi was fully asleep first, Eren placed his lips gently on Levi's forehead, kissing the pale skin softly. Hopefully Levi would never know about what happened, and if he did, that he wouldn't over react and hate Eren.

Levi made a small noise and actually seemed to smile, though it was small and almost unnoticable unless you knew what to look for. His dreams where seeming to be centered around Eren, which he didn't mind since he had developed a small crush on the boy. It had been a short amount of time to develope the feelings but he couldn't help it, this was the first time he'd ever felt loved; it was amazing.

Eren made a small chuckling type sound at Levi's adorable, tiny noises that he made. At first he thought Levi was waking up, but his eyes weren't opening and he didn't seem to be fully responsive. Eren had to admit; in the short time span he had known Levi, he would say he had grown to like him...a lot. It sounded ridiculous, but it was true.

Levi slept soundly until the next morning. He woke up slowly and stretched but stopped, wincing as the new wounds on his back started to open again. The pain caused him to let out a small whimper.

Eren had somehow fallen asleep, once again, in the midde of the night. He awoke to the sounds of Levi whimpering and the sight of him flinching from the recent wounds. "Don't hurt yourself Levi." Eren warned softly, concern lacing his voice.

Levi looked at Eren apologetically. "S-Sorry, did I wake you?" His back started stinging a bit, but he ignored it so that he wouldn't worry Eren more than he already had. He cuddled into the boy's chest once more, still feeling grateful toward him for saving him from the terrible situation he'd been in for so long. He loved the feeling of Eren's warmth and closeness.

"You didn't wake me Levi." Eren told Levi reassuringly. He didn't want Levi to feel bad over something as an insignificant as a few hours of sleep. Eren tightened his arms around Levi when he snugled closer. He loved hugging Levi like this. It gave him so much...fulfilment in life. Like he would never need another human being in the world as long as he had Levi.
'Could this be love...?'
