And the one week passed in a blink of an eye, Siddarth and Priya seems to be getting on well with each other. They have began to understand each other more and have begun to spend quality time with each other and of course within a short span of time Shree has became more closer to Siddarth. When Priya told this news to Ananya she was shocked obviously but she was very happy for both of them and at the same time and was very glad that finally Priya is going to move on in life.

When Priya informed her parents that she's in a relationship with Siddarth her family was obviously very happy for her and glad that they don't need to see their daughter still stuck in the past anymore. But just like typical parents they started to pressure her to get married to Siddarth which Priya doesn't want now because she wants to understand Siddarth more and make sure he is the right one for her and Shree.

Tomorrow evening Ananya was leaving plus tomorrow's her birthday, Ananya hasn't spoken to him over the past week neither did Nikhil bother to speak to her. But the truth was that both of their ego's weren't allowing them to.

Why can't I sleep ?

Nikhil moaned as he was tossing and turning in the bed, Nikhil was trying to sleep for the past few hours but he wasn't able to, he wasn't able to get any sleep today. Whenever Nikhil closed his eyes her innocent face was coming and disturbing his sleep and her tearful eyes.

What's stopping me from accepting my love to her ?

If I let go of her tomorrow then I might never get the opportunity to regain her ...

Who am I doing this for ? At the end of the end day I'm hurting myself and Ananya from this

Why I am ruining the chances of our beautiful future together ?

Various questions like this crossed through Nikhil mind ....

Meanwhile Ananya was going through the same situation in her room, she wasn't able to get sleep. Tomorrow she's leaving and after tomorrow she may never get the chance to see Nikhil and it is highly likely for Nikhil to hand over those divorce papers to her tomorrow. Again tears started streaming down her face and she started sobbing and cursed her fate for everything happened to her in her life after she returned from Manchester few years ago !

"I wish I never met Nikkhil" Ananya thought in her mind . After tossing and turning for a long time Ananya dozed of to sleep clutching onto her covers.

* * * * *

Sun rose the next day with new rays and hopes, Nikhil is no longer clue less today, he has finally made a decision ...

Ananya woke up when Shree came running Into her room and jumped on top of her. "Happy Birthday Annuuu Ma " she screamed with her tiny voice. Suddenly Ananya remembered it was her birthday today. "Thank you baby" Ananya replied and planted a kiss on her cheeks !!

"Happy 25th birthday darling " Priya said as she was walking into the room handing over Ananya a bouquet of flowers and a little present. "Thank you Pri !!! Love you" Ananya replied and hugged Priya.

Ananya then had a cold shower and dressed herself into a saree today and slowly went downstairs with a racing heart as she had to face Nikhil today. Nikhil noticed Ananya coming down the stairs and very well knew that it was her birthday but he choose to not wish her for now.

"Happy Birthday Annnnuuu" Parvathy and Ravinath together wished Ananya. "Thank you so much !! Appa and Amma" Ananya said and thanked them. Hearing them Daddu too came and wished Ananya and gifted her a a red kanchipuram saree which was Nikhil's grandmothers wedding saree. " I don't know if you'll like it Anu, this saree was locked up in my cupboard after Nikhil's and Priya's grandmother died, a lot of memories are attached to this saree and it's a symbol of our love. You might leave all of us today Anu but still I believe you deserve to keep this saree " Daddu said emotionally

"Daddy I absolutely love this saree, of course I will treasure it !!" Ananya said and hugged him with her eyes watering. Infact everyones eyes moistened including Nikhil's seeing the beautiful bond between Dadu and Ananya.

Everyone in the family urged Ananya to celebrate her birthday but Ananya refused it and convinced them that she's happy to not celebrate it. Later they had breakfast and throughout breakfast Nikhil kept on glancing at Ananya's direction, he thought she looked very beautiful today.

After breakfast Ananya wanted to go to the temple so Revathy asked Nikhil to drop Ananya and Priya at the temple as Priya also wanted to accompany Ananya. Hesitantly Nikhil agreed, the car journey was silent as neither Priya, Ananya or Nikhil spoke much. All three of them went into the temple and prayed various things, Priya then informed Ananya and Nikhil that she's going to make some offering. After Priya had left it was just Ananya and Nikhil praying in front of the God's statue.

"Happy Birthday" Nikhil said quietly, Ananya opened her eyes and turned her head around to look at Nikhil, she was indeed surprised "Thank you" she replied quietly.  Nikhil wanted to express his feelings at this point but he felt as if the courage he had gained yesterday night was no longer present in him. Nikhil wanted to hug her, tell her that he loves her, as Nikhil opened his mouth to express it Priya returned and the scene just changed. Nikhil then just decided to ahead with his original plan. They then returned home and Ananya started packing her clothes. 

"Do you really have to go Anu ?" Priya asked Ananya as she was packing. "I have to Priya, I have to return to work". Ananya replied 

"You can always stay here Anu, Amma and Appa sees you as their own daughter also you are still Nikhil's legally wedded wife, you have the rights ...." But Ananya stopped Priya by saying "Lets not talk about all of that now Priya, Nikhil clearly doesn't want me and after I leave this place I will try my best to forget Nikhil from my life" 

"But Nikhil is your legally wedded husband" Priya said 

"I thought he will give me the divorce papers before I leave but he hasn't done it far. I'll tell him to post it to me or give it to me before I leave, I guess that will be unlikely as I'm leaving within few hours so posting it to me will be the better option". Ananya replied 

Soon time passed  in a blink of an eye and Nikhil was asked to drop Ananya at the airport by Ravinath just as Nikhil expected. Ananya was wearing a red saree today and let her hair loose, with a heart full of pain the Varma family said bye to Ananya and requested her to visit them whenever time permits. Ananya hugged Sree tightly and gifted her a little toy doll before leaving and not but the least Priya and Ananya hugged Ananya and cried their hearts out and promised each other to keep in touch. 

Nikhil watched everything as he placed Ananya's suitcase in his car. Soon after finally saying bye to everyone Ananya tearfully sat in the car and they set of to the airport ! The journey was filled with akward silence ... 

Ananya's heart wished that Nikhil wouldn't let her go .. .. ... 

Nikhil's heart wished that she'd say something about not leaving .... 

But what Ananya said was totally different to what Nikhil had expected, "Nikhil what's happening with our divorce ?" 

"I'll let you know about the procedure soon" Nikhil replied 

"Please speed up the process so finally you'll be free from the knot called marriage !!" 

I don't want to be free from this knot ... Nikhil thought in his mind ...

Finally they reached the airport 

Ananya's heart ached 

Nikhil's heart beat started increasing as this is his last opportunity to actually express his his feelings, Nikhil parked the car and opened the boot of the car to get the suitcase out. 

The situation was very tense ... 

Ananya slowly got out wiping away her tears and thinking of how much she'll miss Nikhil !! 

"There you go" Nikhil said as he handed the suitcase over to her 

"Bye" Ananya said controlling her tears

"Bye" said he said coldly and gave her a side hug. Suddenly it started heavily raining and Nikhil therefore, urged Ananya to go in quickly. Nikhil noticed Ananya's phone that she was holding. Slowly Ananya turned around and walked around to the airport with a very heavy heart. 

"He could have called me back !!"  Ananya thought clutching onto the ends of her saree .... 

 Ananya was waiting in the queue to enter the airport when her phone beeped. Ananya was not in the mood to check her phone, but her phone lit up with the notification and Ananya saw it was from Nikhil. Immediately she opened it and read the long paragraph, because the queue was massive Ananya definitely had plenty of time. 

Dear Ananya or Anu as I would like  call you (Ananya smiled reading it) 

First of all I want to wish you a many many happy returns of the day !! You may have wondered today why I didn't wish you on your 25th birthday, well that is because I wanted to wish you it this way ... 

So lets start from the beginning ! The last previous years of our lives was a lot like a roller coaster for both of , we went through a wide range of feelings and emotions in during that period !! We have hurted each other a lot and have given us each painful scars, when we were actually experiencing it then I had no clue why God was making us through so much but now I understand that everything happened for a reason, I believe everything happened in my life has made come more closer to you :) 

I am not sure when I started falling for you but when you left me that day I understood that I was going through a heart break ... 

I tried convincing myself that we'll never make it good together but I realise that it was just a foolish thought of mine !! After going through a emotional turmoil in the last few days I concluded that I LOVE YOU !! AND I ACTUALLY CANNOT AFFORD TO LOOSE YOU AGAIN ANU !!

I am really sorry darling for my foolish behaviour and how I horribly I rejected you .. 

Anu again I apologise for opening up you this late and that through a text message ! I don't know if you still have feelings for me or not but I want you Ananya !! 

I didn't ever think I could love someone this much !! Thank you for bringing colour my dull life which I thought was the brightest at that time. How stupid Na ?
