Nikhil and Ananya were leaving today to Manchester for Ananya's graduation. Shekar had booked their tickets for  5 days.

"For goodness sake Ananya are you not ready ?" Nikhil asked sitting in the lounge.

"I am ready" Ananya replied to Nikhil in the same high pitched voice. Ananya was wearing a simple jeans and top and had tied her waist length hair into a pony tail.

Why can't she leave her hair loose Nikhil thought.

Soon the driver picked both of their luggage and placed it at the back of the car. Ananya sat at the back of the car and Nikhil sat at the front next to driver. After a long drive and the procedures in the airport Nikhil and Ananya were now waiting for the flight, they still had some more time for the flight. Nikhil went to call his girlfriend who was in Hyderabad now.

When returned he sat next to Ananya and said
"How lucky are you Ananya ? To travel in a plane for free. My pride wouldn't allow me to travel in someone else's money". Nikhil said to mock Ananya and make her feel bad.

"I'm not travelling using a random person's money. I'm travelling in my father in laws and husbands money." Ananya said with her arms crossed

"I'm not your husband neither your my wife. Shreya is more like my wife even tho were not married,  not you" Nikhil said

"But Nikhil we got married, you can't deny the fact I'm wearing the manglasutra you tied" Ananya said

"Well that was an accident, I will soon make his relationship invalid and remove that s*** from your neck, wait for it ". Nikhil said

"But until you make this marriage invalid I'm your responsibility as much as your mine and in a way I have more right on you than you stupid girlfriend. Also, because you said that Shreya's more like your wife I want to give you a warning. Basically your trusting her too much, I have a feeling that she'll leave you and you will be beyond broken because of it". Ananya said confidently.

"Ananya shut it. If you utter one more word about my Shreya you will pay a huge price for it". As soon as Nikhil said that Ananya's phone started ringing.

It was Siddarth

Ananya smiled seeing his name and picked up the call. However, she stood up and moved away from Nikhil to talk to him. Nikhil observed Ananya's expressions whilst talking to Siddarth.
She looked much happier and cheerful compared to when she was with Nikhil.
When Ananya returned back from her call, approximately after around 30 mins Nikhil shot a death glare at Ananya.

"What ?" Ananya said

"Why is he calling you like this, he called at least twice when we were In the car and now again. What does he have so much to tell you." Nikhil said angrily.

"Chill Nikhil, why you getting so angry ? Just like the freedom you have to decided the people you want in your life I have the freedom too to decided who I have in my life. So just like I said yesterday stop poking your nose into other people's matters. Also, because you don't see me as your wife you have no right to control me" Ananya said angrily.

Ananya then placed her headphone in her ears and started listening to music. Nikhil just tightened his fist hearing Ananya's reply. From what Nikhil said Ananya understood that there was a slight progression in Nikhil's attitude because why would he be bothered in what Ananya's doing if Nikhil doesn't have anything for her. But she knew as long as Shreya's in Nikhil's life she won't allow Nikhil to change even if Nikhil wants to.

Soon they entered their flight. When Nikhil looked closely at their tickets he saw his dad had booked them an economy seat. "S*** why did he book economy tickets" Nikhil said. Ananya just ignored his ridiculous attitude.

Their first flight had gone quickly next it was their connection flight from Abu Dhabi to london . Ananya sat near the window , and Nikhil sat next to her.

Soon the flight took of and both Ananya and Nikhil didn't realize when they fell asleep. Ananya woke up feeling the flight bouncing on the tarmac on the ground and she found herself sleeping on Nikhil's arms, Ananya had her hands wrapped around Nikhil's arms protectively.

Quickly Ananya let go of Nikhil's arms as fast as Ananya could, Nikhil woke up just when Ananya let go of Nikhil's arms. It didn't look as if Nikhil realised what had happened.

Finally, the flight came to a stop, everyone stood up to leave but Nikhil remained sitting. "We can get up you know" Ananya said unbuckling her seat belt.

"Wait" Nikhil said and finally got up when most of the passengers had left.
After the hectic immigration process Nikhil and Ananya got outside the airport and booked a taxi. Surprisingly Nikhil helped Ananya place her luggage onto the car.

Eventually Ananya and Nikhil reached Doubletree by Hilton. It was the hotel they were staying in for the next few days. Unfortunately, Nikhil's father had only booked one room for Nikhil and Ananya. It was a very big and spacious room with an ensuite bathroom connected.

"I'll go and see if there's an spare room". Nikhil said to Ananya, but Nikhil returned with a negative news. "Unfortunately the rooms have all been pre booked, there's apparently an event happening here, my bad luck Ananya we have to share this room".

Luckily the bed was a king size bed, Nikhil decided to take one end of the bed and told Ananya to take the other end. It was already night time in Manchester, both Ananya and Nikhil fell asleep due to their jet lag. However, they didn't forget to build a big pillow wall before going to sleep. And when they got up the next day both of them had body pain from sleeping in the same position all night.

Graduation Day !

Today it was Ananya's graduation day, Nikhil tried his best to back out from going to her graduation but Nikhil kept on getting warnings from Shekar to go with Ananya. The last 2 days passed in a blink of a eye, nothing much happened other than some silly fights between them.

After a taking a hot shower early in the morning Ananya came out of the bathroom in her bathrobe. Nikhil glanced at Ananya, he began getting unknown feelings but quickly looked away to refrain from the unknown temptations. Just for Ananya to hear and hide his temptations Nikhil said "for goodness sake" and slammed the bathroom door. "What's wrong him ?" Ananya thought

Ananya just frowned. She quickly took out her saree which she was going to wear today and decide to fully drape it before Nikhil comes out. However, she couldn't finish before Nikhil came out. Nikhil came out of the bathroom seeing Ananya half dressed in her saree, Ananya's stomach and blouse area was visible to him.

Ananaya hadn't realised when Nikhil came out. When Ananya noticed Nikhil she quickly covered herself with the end of her saree. "Don't you have any manners to watch a lady getting dressed Nikhil ?" Ananya said screaming at Nikhil.

"How am I supposed to know your getting changed for goodness sake !!! I know you did this purposely to seduce me, and just to let you know I didn't feel anything seeing your ugly body". Nikhil said and went outside the room .

" Get lost" Ananya muttered as he left the room. After a while Ananya had finally managed to properly drape the saree. Then she circled her hair and applied makeup.

Nikhil then returned after eating his breakfast. "Can you get ready quickly Nikhil, we have to be there in 2 hours". Ananya said

"Well then get out, I dont want you watching when I changing." Nikhil said picking up his suit.

"You can always change in the bathroom" Ananya said

"Ananya I don't like to say the same thing again and again, please get out like I did so I can change." Nikhil said

"Uhh fine, I'll have breakfast then while you change". Ananya said and left holding her purse.

Shortly both left to Ananya's university. When they reached the university Ananya's friends Megan and Shannon came running up her and hugged her. After some general conversation Megan asked who the person standing next to her was.

Ananya then introduced Nikhil "this is my husband Nikhil, we got married recently".

"What the hell Anu !!! You only left here a month ago and your already married. We didn't know you had a boyfriend". Shannon said shockingly.

"Long story short it was an arranged marriage. I will let explain It all to you later one". Ananya said, however, Megan and Shannon was still shocked and found the news hard to digest.

Nikhil was just frustrated and annoyed hearing their conversation but he liked it when Ananya said "my husband", when Ananya said it felt different.

"By the way your husbands well hot, no wonder why you fell for him" Shannon teased her friend, Ananya just smacked her gently and smiled lightly.

Later they proceeded for the graduation ceremony. Nikhil watched Ananya collecting her degree, a first class honour is really something to be proud of Nikhil thought but he didn't even bother to congratulate her when she told him it. Once the ceremony was finished, they went and stood to click pictures.

Nikhil was the photographer, everyone gave their phones and cameras to Nikhil. He did get annoyed for a second but when he started clicking the pictures he began to enjoy it. Finally after clicking everyone's pictures Megan asked Nikhil to go and stand with Ananya. Nikhil hesitated and made excuses but after persuading he finally went.

"Stop standing their like two robots,at least smile" megan said

"Nikhil do one thing, put your arms around Ananya" shannon said

Nikhil didn't protest, he did as Shannon said making Ananya suprised. She felt a sense of protection but quickly Shreya's face came into Ananya's mind. This is one reason Ananya prevents herself from liking Nikhil, she knows that Nikhil will never love her back and if she ever falls for him she will be hurt massively and for Ananya it's not easy to forget how much he's hurt her.

"You look a bit daft today in the saree" Nikhil lied

"Well I dont care, I'm an indian I felt like representing my culture." Ananya said boldly.

"Also by the way I'm going out with friends tonight will return a bit late" Ananya said as Shannon was dragging Ananya to click more pictures.

"Noo ..." Nikhil said but Ananya didnt stay to listen".
