Waking Up to a Full House
When the alarm sounded in the morning Eren felt the urge to throw it out the window. "Levi, hun, please shut that thing off," Eren groaned shoving a pillow over his ears.
"Still have a headache?" he asked turning off his phone.
"It seems so," Eren mumbled. "I thought it went away last night," Eren sighed.
"Here, drink some water and go back to sleep for a little while, I'll wake you when breakfast is ready," Levi said handing him a water bottle.
"Thanks," Eren said taking a drink before laying back down.
Levi shook his head and gave Eren a kiss on the cheek before heading out of the room. He headed down the stairs and found that Hanji and Erwin were still sleeping. Ash was already up and sitting at the table talking quietly on her phone. It sounded like she was talking to Thomas before she hung up.
She looked up and saw Levi walking into the room. "Morning," she whispered greeting him with a nice smile.
"Good morning," Levi said returning the smiley greeting before walking past her into the kitchen. "So what should I make for breakfast?" Levi asked her.
"Up to you," she shrugged. "Need any help?" She asked standing up when she saw Levi start to pull out stuff to cook.
"Nah, I think I got it," Levi said, "was that Thomas you were talking to earlier?" He asked.
"Yeah, he said they're all doing fine. They just wanted to know what the plan is, I told him I'd fill him in when I knew."
"Oh, right we forgot to tell the kids what's going on, I'm assuming Peter wasn't up yet cause he would be able to tell them," Levi laugh.
"Yeah, he was still sleeping," Ash said.
"Well, Peter is going to bring them and they will get ready over there," Levi shrugged.
"That's what I thought would happen," Ash nodded, I'll text him back and confirm it for sure," she said pulling out her phone.
Levi started on breakfast while Ash texted Thomas they looked up when they heard footsteps down the stairs to see who was up. Jean turned the corner and gave them a little nod of his head, "sup," he mumbled. He looked as if he was still half asleep as he yawned and rubbed at his eyes.
"Coffee will be ready in a minute," Levi laughed putting a pot on.
"Thank God," Jean mumbled plopping down in a chair.
"You really aren't a morning person," Levi laughed.
Jean watched him practically whistling as he worked and rolled his eyes, "you clearly are," Jean said before putting his head down on the table.
"Nothing wrong with a bit of positivity in the morning, especially today," Levi said practically radiating with joy.
Jean's mind was taking a while to process things and it hadn't quite dawned on him why today was different than any other day. Levi put the coffee down in front of Jean and he picked his head up and took a sip. He opened his eyes and looking up at Levi with wide eyes, "today's your wedding day," He said before bringing a hand up to his head covering his face embarrassed that he forgot about his best friends' wedding.
"Man, I knew you were slow, but damn," Levi shook his head laughing as he pulled out a pan from one of the cupboards.
"Again I say thank god for coffee," Jean laughed taking another sip.
"Amen to that," Ash said taking a sip of her coffee.
"Did I hear coffee?" Hanji asked walking into the room and was standing next to Ash who was sitting at the table. She stretched out her back from laying on the couch bed and the shirt she was wearing came up slightly going from the middle of her thighs to the top of them. Ash watched Hanji's shirt come up and pulled it down slightly.
Levi turned his head around to stare at Hanji for a moment. His chipper attitude had vanished. "Hanji," he said causing her to look at him.
"What's up?" Hanji asked before seeing the dark aura that came over him. "What did I do now?" She asked looking around at everyone knowing Levi only looked at her like that when she fucked up.
"I warned you," he hissed.
"About what?" She asked.
"Eren has a mild hangover, if it doesn't clear up before the wedding you're dead," Levi glared.
"He'll be fine," Hanji smiled nervously, "I think," she whispered to himself.
"He better," Levi growled before turning back around to continue cooking breakfast.
Marco had come down the stairs with a bright smile greeting everyone before joining Ash, Jean, and Hanji at the table. He sat down next to Jean and slid his hand into his.
"There's coffee if you want some," Levi told him.
"No thanks, I don't like coffee," Marco shrugged, "do you happen to have any tea?" Marco asked.
"I was just about to start making some," Levi smiled looking between Jean and Marco. Marco was all smiles despite just waking up, while Jean was still staring into his cup of coffee like it was his only lifeline. "You guys are like polar opposites," Levi laughed.
"Well, ya know what they say," Marco smiled, "opposites attract," he shrugged.
"Well it helps when your boyfriend is really attractive," Jean said after finishing the last bit of coffee. He gave Marco's hand a light squeeze before giving him a smile.
"Looks like someone finally woke up all the way," Marco said laughing at Jean's sudden mood change.
"What smells good?" Erwin asked poking his head in the kitchen.
"Breakfast," Levi said, "it's almost ready," he informed everyone.
"Cool," Erwin said before sitting down at the table next to Hanji.
Levi had to hold back his laughter seeing as those two didn't have pants on, and Jean was still shirtless. He looked around at the table full of his and Eren's friends they were only missing a few, but he saw smiles all around and couldn't help but smile. "Alright," Levi cleared his throat, "who wants to go revive the dead?" he asked. When the gave him a puzzled look he clarified, "whose waking Armin?" he asked.
"I can do it," Marco said and Jean offered to go with him.
"Okay, while you revive Armin I'm going to go wake Eren," Levi said before shooting a glare over at Hanji as a warning.
Hanji had her fingers crossed that Eren's headache was gone when he woke up, if not she'd be the one with a headache.
