"Let's go to bed," Eren suggested almost desperately after they finished putting away the groceries. To which Levi nodded and followed him up the stairs.

Eren quickly stripped down getting in his pajama pants and walking over to the bed. Levi joined him, but he could tell something was still bugging him. Eren was facing the wall with his back to Levi. He had his knees close to his chest and his arms covering his face. His hands gripping his hair tightly.

"Eren?" Levi asked placing a cautious and tentative hand on the boy's back. When Eren flinched slightly Levi knew something was up. He pulled his hand back at first before getting out of the bed. He carefully but quickly walked over to Eren's side and kneeled down by the side of the bed.

"Eren, what's wrong?" Levi asked softly putting his hand over his lovers shaky one.

Eren took a minute before he calmed himself enough to speak. He wiped his eyes and looked into Levi's worry filled ones. "Levi, please tell me the truth, do you still love me, that all I need to know," Eren said with quivering lips and a shaky voice. He looked into Levi's eyes desperately waiting for him to answer.

"Of course I do Eren, that's not even a question," Levi said putting his hands up to Eren's cheeks and wiping away the messy tears. He brushed his long hair behind his ears lightly in order to see his face properly. "I've always loved you, and I always will," Levi reassured him bringing his lips up to his lover's forehead placing a light kiss on it. He left one hand on Eren's cheek while the other one rested on the bed next to Eren's.

Eren had so much he wanted to say, but it seemed impossible to get the words past his shaky lips. Anything he tried to say was cut off in his throat. 'No, I told myself that I would leave it be,' Eren thought to himself trying to calm himself down. He looked at where Levi's hand rested next to his on the bed. He placed his hand over it and calmed his breathing back down. "I'm sorry," Eren whispered to Levi.

"You don't have to apologize, it's okay Eren," Levi said wrapping his arms around him. He didn't realize how much Eren had been suffering until now. 'I should have realized something's been off,' Levi thought as he held onto him trying to ease the suffering that his lover was facing. 'I don't know what's bothering him so much, and he won't tell me. Could it just be his depression, or is it more than that,' Levi thought running his fingers through Eren's long brown hair to help him calm down.

Eren finally managed to calm down. "I love you, Levi," he said burying his face into Levi's warm bare chest.

"I love you too," Levi said before going back to his side of the bed and scooting up next to Eren. He watched as Eren turned around to face him and buried his face in his chest. Levi wrapped his arms around him as he felt Eren let out a yawn. He waited until he thought Eren was asleep before closing his eyes. He held Eren close as his mind drifted off while sleep overtook him.

Eren waited for Levi's breathing to slow so that he knew he was asleep before opening his eyes. He leaned back looking at Levi's face trying not to move too much to avoid waking Levi. He brought his hand up to Levi's cheek, the one that previously had the faint lipstick stain. He caressed it lightly as a silent tear fell. He placed a light kiss on his lover's lips and tucked his face back into the crook of Levi's neck. 'There has to be an explanation behind it,' Eren thought closing his eyes. The last thought that crossed his mind before sleep overtook him was, 'Levi, I still trust you.'

The morning came quickly and when the alarm went off Eren swore that he had only shut his eyes a minute ago.

"You look like hell," Levi teased ruffling Eren's messy hair.

"I feel like it," Eren said with a yawn as he rubbed at his sleepy eyes.

Levi had woken up before Eren so he was already dressed. He headed downstairs to start cooking dinner as Eren got up and started to get ready.

When he walked downstairs he smelt something good. "Pancakes?" He questioned taking another whiff, "And bacon?" He said before arriving at the dining room. As he walked in Levi was setting two plates down.

"Ça sent délicieusement bon," Eren said taking a seat at the table across from Levi.

"Bien sûr," Levi said with a smirk. "I made it, so of course it would smell good, are you questioning my cooking skills?" Levi asked raising an eyebrow.

"Bien sûr que non!" Eren said quickly.

"Relax," Levi laughed, "I was just kidding," he smiled. "Your french is not bad," Levi noted before taking a bite of his pancakes.

Eren smiled at the compliment before looking at his plate. 'Pancakes bacon, eggs, and even orange juice.' Eren noted looking at the food in front of him. "What's the special occasion?" Eren asked noticing that Levi went all out with cooking breakfast for the day.

"No special occasion just felt like cooking," Levi smiled before taking another bite. 'Shit, he's onto me.' Levi thought hiding the guilty look behind another bite of pancakes.

'Usually, Levi goes all out in cooking when he has bad news, or something bad happened.' Eren thought, 'well there are some exceptions,' he noted, 'but what's the chance it's one of those times?'

"You sure there is no reason for you cooking all this food?" Eren said looking at Levi with a raised eyebrow.

"Nope, none at all, why should there be?" Levi asked keeping up the lie.

"Liar, you're hiding something," Eren said calling Levi on the fake expression.

Levi let out a sigh. "Fine you got me," he said, "it's just, you've been so depressed lately and I wanted to try and cheer you up a bit, I know it's not much, but I thought it would help a little," Levi said looking down avoiding Eren's gaze. 'All I wanted to do was make him happy,' he thought.

"Levi," Eren said trying to get him to look up at him. "Thank you, it means a lot to me," He said showing Levi a genuine smile. "What would I do without you?" He asked with a playful laugh at first, before his brain actually started to think about the question he asked. 'What would I do without him?'

"Well let's hope we never have to figure that out, I wanna stay with you until the end of time," Levi said cutting Eren away from the damaging thoughts.   

  "Agreed," Eren said with a silent sigh of relief.
