Mon Éternité

Author's note~ Extra long chapter enjoy ^.^ ~ Lawliet TJ

Hanji had gone back to her room to start setting up for the long day ahead. She slipped out of the room several minutes ago and no one noticed until the silence happened and then they realized she had left. After a few minutes of the room being in total silence, Levi and Eren began discussing some work and plans for later. "Hey, Levi after school can I run somewhere to get something before back to school night starts?" Eren asked.

"I don't see why not, as long as you're back on time it shouldn't matter," Levi said with a shrug.

"Hey Alex," the boy said taking a seat next to her.

TJ and Thomas were sitting on the side of her wondering what this kid was doing.

"I was thinking that it would be really cool if we could date," he said with a smirk on his lips.

"I don't even know your name," she said crossing her eyes and rolling her eyes.

"The name's Jared, but you can call me babe," he said leaning closer to her.

She scoffed and stood up walking to the other side of her brother and sitting closer to him and Thomas.

"Don't be like that baby," he said standing up to walk after her when TJ blocked his path.

"She doesn't want to talk to you," he said glaring at the guy.

"I wasn't talking to a pussy like you," he said trying to push past TJ when Eren grabbed his arm.

"Hey," Eren said raising his voice. " Leave Alex alone, she obviously doesn't want to talk to you. If you keep forcing yourself at her you're going to be sent to the principle's office," Eren said trying to stand up to this asshole kid.

"Calm down old man," he said, "I was just trying to talk to her," he said with a smug face and a shrug.

"Listen here you little shit," Levi said walking up to the kid, his face back to his normal scary one, "wipe that shit eating grin off your face or I'll do it for you. Do I make myself clear?" Levi said piercing the boy's eyes with his glare.

Jared nodded slightly too scared to say anything.

"I don't think you heard me," Levi said, "Do I make myself clear?" Levi asked again.

"Yes," He said hesitantly.

"Yes, what?" He asked.

"Yes sir," he said his eyes closed so tightly he thought that his eyelids had started to turn white.

"Good," Levi said, "if I hear that you bothered her again you'll regret it," Levi said with a glare before turning away and going back to finish working at his desk.

Eren watched as the kid picked up his backpack with shake limbs and walked himself to a seat far away from Alex and sat there with his head down.

Alex walked up to Levi's desk where he was organizing some handouts for later. "Your overprotective side is showing," she whispered with a smile.

"Sorry," he mumbled back.

"Don't apologize that was so sweet of both of you to stand up for me," she smiled, "my own parents wouldn't even do that. They would just tell me to enjoy the attention," she said with a sigh. "You guys would make great parents," she smiled.

"I'm glad to hear that," Eren smiled remembering his sister saying the same thing to them a few years ago and again recently. Even Hanji had told them that before and it never really occurred to them if they wanted children or not.

Eren looked at Levi who seemed to be thinking the same thing. Eren shrugged it off and gave Levi a look that just said we should worry about the wedding first, as he pointed to his ring. Levi nodded and silently agreed.

They got back to work and soon enough more and more students came into the room and then class started. When Levi had started his lesson he called Eren up to write on the whiteboard and had him write down everything that was in his notes so that the students could see them. When Levi saw that Eren's hand was getting tired he had put up a few example sentences and started having volunteers take turns coming up and fixing the sentences.

This was pretty much how all of his classes went and when it was lunch Eren was relieved since his hand had started cramping up even with their break period. "How do you do it?" Eren asked him plopping down in the chair stretching his fingers and moving his cramping wrist.

"It takes practice," Levi said with a smile.

Hanji made her way in the room running up to the front of the class to sit with her boys as she ate lunch. The three students also made their way into Levi's class. Sitting down up near the desk so that they could have one of their so-called "family lunches," as Hanji called them. "Erwin needs to join us today," she insisted, "it's a special occasion," she smiled as she proceeded to call Erwin's phone until he appeared slightly annoyed in the doorway.

"Join us for lunch today," she begged.

Erwin was going to decline but thought about how much work he had to do and sighed, "fine," he said, "only because I am procrastinating all that paperwork," and with that, he went to get his lunch and then pulled up a seat next to everyone and began eating his lunch.

"So where are you going to run to after school?" Levi asked Eren when he was sure everyone else was busy in their own conversations.

"I can't say," Eren said with a mischievous smile, "it's a secret," Eren said before putting his hand over Levi's. "I promise you'll know by tonight," he said.

"Ugh, fine," Levi pouted.

Eren leaned in and kissed the pout off of his lips causing Levi to let out a little giggle against Eren's lips.

"I love you," Eren whispered into a kiss before pulling away and kissing Levi's forehead.

"I love you too," Levi smiled leaning his head on Eren's shoulder.

It took them a minute to get out of their bubble and when they did they realized everyone was looking at them with faint smiles on their faces.

After lunch, they finished the last few of their normal classes before their break while the students were all at PE Eren and Levi sat with each other just holding each other's hand in the quiet classroom as they listened to the breaths of one another. They had nothing to talk about in the moment yet the silence was anything but awkward. It was more of a peaceful break to their day full of loud and obnoxious freshmen.

Eren laid his head on the desk and Levi followed suit. "Mondays," Eren sighed.

Levi let a smile slip on his face, "Mondays indeed," he said as his finger caressed Eren's as their hands laid there intertwined.

When the bell rang signaling that gym was over both of them let out a sigh and got in their places ready for the class to come in. "Last class," Eren said in a hopeful voice.

"Until tonight," Levi said with a less hopeful voice.

Eren just shook his head with a smile knowing what he was going to do the second school got out. He had to get it today he just had to. He could already see the expression on Levi's face which caused Eren to let a small smirk slip.

"What are you smiling about?" Levi asked as the first student entered the class.

"Just happy that this is the last class," he said with a shrug.

"Sure you are," Levi said shaking his head, "you're up to something Jaeger," he said before more students came in and it was time for class to start.

At least this class was an easy one all they had to do was make sure nobody leaves the room and that the kids show up.

"Alright class," Levi said getting their attention, "what are we going to do today?"

Eren walked over and looked in the suggestions box they had started last time. He pulled out a few notes and read them aloud and let students vote on them. Most of the kids just voted for a movie day. They took suggestions on what movie it should be and most of them settled for a Disney movie. Once the movie was on the students were mostly silent except for whispers here and there. TJ, Alex, and Thomas had walked up to the front of the class and were sitting with the teachers. They planned on having a conversation but got interested in the movie anyway.

The bell rang and the students half groaned and half cheered. Levi told them they could finish the movie next class and sent the kids on their way. Most of the students were going home even though over half of the people who were going home would be back again in three hours. Some of the kids were staying after school for all three hours, mostly they just wandered the halls. The usual three students that stayed in Levi's room just sat there not expecting to go anywhere.

Eren stood up and when all the other students besides the three were cleared he leaned over and placed a kiss on Levi's cheek, "I'll be back soon," He said before walking to the door.

When he opened the door he saw a young lady who seemed to have just walked up. She was in a classic military uniform and her hair was short for the most part. "Oh, um, is this Thomas's class?" she asked Eren.

"Yes," he nodded, "he's in here," he said opening the door for her and he followed her back in the classroom.

The kids were talking with Levi and when Thomas finally looked up he saw before him his sister.

"Ash," he breathed almost not believing his own words before jumping up and running to her. He practically jumped in her arms. She grabbed him and hugged him tight like she didn't want to let go. "I missed you so much," he said as tears started to run down his face. "I thought you said you would be back in another year?" He asked not really complaining.

"I wanted to surprise you," she said with a big smile.

"It worked," he said before burying his face in his sister's embrace.

"I missed you, Thomas," she said running her fingers through his hair as she kept him close.

When they finally let go of each other Ash walked up to Levi and shook his hand introducing herself. "Hooah," Levi said and she said it back.

"You were in the army," she asked.

"What gave it away?" Levi asked.

"First off the undercut," she smirked.

They talked for a bit and Levi ended up telling her about back to school night which she said she would gladly attend in place of their parents. She was also able to shed more light to Levi and Eren about how neglectful their parents actually were.

After talking with her for a little while Eren finally decided on heading out.

Levi excused himself so he can finish up the classroom cleaning up from the earlier classes.

Thomas introduced Ash to Alex and TJ. He told her that he and TJ were dating and she congratulated them and talked with TJ and Alex to try and get to know who her brother was hanging around. She could tell early on that these were good kids and she was just happy that Thomas didn't get mixed up with the wrong crowd again.

Eren had made it to the place and back in a little over an hour which surprised him. He pulled back up to the school with the item in his pocket. He took a deep breath and walked back to Levi's class a little nervous.

Everything was as he left it Ash and the kids were talking and Levi was sitting at his desk after he finished cleaning listening to them talk. He had a smile on his face that he probably didn't even know was there.

He walked in and walked over taking a seat next to him.

"You going to tell me where you went now?" Levi asked looking over at him with a raised eyebrow.

"I think this will for me," Eren said with a smile, "close your eyes and put out your hand," he said. He had gotten the attention of the group sitting in the front row of the class, but he hadn't even noticed.

While Levi had his eyes closed and his hand out he slipped a ring on Levi's ring finger. Levi opened his eyes, he was a bit surprised for a second but he looked at the ring and smile.

"I know it's not as good as the one you got me, but I tried my best to get one that I knew you would like," Eren said dropping his eyes as he was nervously twirled his thumbs together in his lap.

The ring was silver with two gold strips running around it.

"Eren, it's perfect," Levi said before leaning over and kissing him on the cheek.

"There's an inscription on it," Eren whispered a little embarrassed.

Levi slid off the ring to look at what was inscribed on it. "Mon éternité," he read.

"My eternity," Eren translated knowing Levi already knew what it met, but Eren saying it aloud was better. "Levi you're my eternity," Eren said

"And Eren you're my everything," Levi said before their lips connected and they gave each other a kiss. When they pulled away they realized the group was looking at them.

Ash leaned over to Thomas and said, "I like these teachers."

"Me too," he said with a smile.
