Levi looked up at Eren and jumped up from the couch and started to walk over to Eren.

"I'm sorry Levi, I didn't mean to-." Eren started to apologize only to be silenced.

Levi had pressed his lips to Eren's for a quick yet passionate kiss that showed how desperately Levi needed him. He was really worried, his hair was disheveled and he had bags under his eyes. Levi pulled away from the kiss and pulled Eren immediately into a hug.

"I don't want to hear excuses, I just want to know you are okay," Levi said before running his fingers under Eren's puffy eyes.

Eren nodded and went to apologize once again. "Sorry I didn't mean to worry you." He said looking down.

"Brat next time you leave in the middle of the night leave a note where you went and take your phone," Levi said not with anger as Eren had thought it would be, but instead, he sounded afraid. "Then I won't worry as much." He said before hugging Eren even tighter pressing his face into the crook of Eren's neck. "I thought- I thought." Levi stuttered unable to say the next part of the sentence, but Eren knew what he was trying to say anyways.

"I'm sorry," Eren said once again. "I know what it must have looked like if there is a next time I won't cause you guys worry," Eren said before kissing Levi as an apology.

Levi desperately grasped at Eren's shirt as their kiss turned passionate. It took them a few moments to separate again to take a breath.

"It's time for bed, if we don't sleep now then it's going to be impossible to wake up in the morning," Levi said leaning into Eren's shoulder.

Eren smiled and picked him up bridal style.

"Oi brat put me down!" Levi yelled struggling in his arms.

"Nope," Eren said with a cheeky smile as he started to carry Levi up the stairs.

Levi stopped struggling but remained pouting, he hated when Eren proved just how short he was, but he loved the attention he got from it sometimes. He knew he could still pick Eren up despite his height, and that's all that mattered to him.

Eren flicked the light switch on with his shoulder as he entered the room. He set Levi down on the bed and kneeled down on the floor in front of him leaning his forehead up against his knee. "I love you, you know that right?" Eren asked before looking up with a desperate look on his face. He needed Levi to know he really did care about him, no matter how much he annoyed him.

"Of course I know that, and I hope you know that I love you," Levi said as he cupped Eren's face and moved Eren's messy windblown hair out of his eyes. He motioned for him to stand up and Eren obeyed.

Eren gave him a smile, at that moment that's all he needed to hear. It was enough to hear the sincerity in Levi's voice.

He sat on the bed next to him and placed a light kiss on his lips. He placed his forehead up against Levi's and looked him in the eyes before closing them and just enjoying the peaceful quiet they shared.

Levi smiled and placed his hand on Eren's before enjoying the peace. They sat there in complete silence for a little while before Levi brought his hand up to Eren's rosy cheeks and caressed it lightly. "We should go to bed and get some sleep, okay?" Levi said as he looked into Eren's sleepy eyes.

Eren nodded lazily and yawned. He took off his sweater and his shirt came with it. He crawled into the bed where Levi was already waiting for him.

Levi leaned over and flipped the light switch that was by the bed turning off the lights. He rolled back over and pulled Eren close. He was afraid that he would wake up again and Eren would be gone like earlier.

He had woken up from a horrid nightmare. He went to pull Eren closer to convince himself it was nothing but a dream, but when Eren wasn't there he began to panic. He had called his phone only to hear it ring right next to him on the other side of the bed.

He checked in Eren's studio knowing that occasionally he would disappear their in the middle of the night when he wasn't able to sleep. When he noticed the studio was still dark he checked every room. His panic began to grow as he searched. He ran down the stairs to check the dining room table hoping Eren left a note to say where he was going. When there was no note he checked to see if Eren's keys were still there. Gone.

Levi's next thought was to call Hanji. Eren might have gone straight to her in order to calm himself down. When he woke up Hanji and found out that Eren wasn't there he began to really panic. His mind making up all sorts of scenarios that was slowly driving him mad.

Eren snuggled up into Levi's firm grip and held onto him afraid that if he let him go he would leave him. Eren felt safe in Levi's arms. He was unbelievably tired, but unlike earlier he welcomed sleep and actually felt as he slowly drifted off. "Goodnight Levi," Eren said right before sleep gently took hold.

Levi just ran his fingers through Eren's hair, "Goodnight my love." He whispered back even knowing that Eren couldn't hear him because he was already in a deep sleep. Levi played with Eren's soft messy hair before sleep soon took him as well.
