"I think we should be heading home too," TJ suggested, but his tone suggested the opposite. "Mom's going to be pissed if we come home late," he said standing up grabbing his backpack.

"You're right," Alex said with a sigh.

"Is Ash picking you up or should we drive you?" Eren asked.

"Ash was working late today, but I don't mind walking," said Thomas looking toward the other two.

"It's up to you guys," TJ said with a shrug, he didn't want to ask too much from them.

"We would be happy to take you," Levi said with a small smile.

"Okay," they agreed looking at each other. They all headed out to the car and watched as Eren got in the driver's seat today, they also noticed that it was a different car today then there was the last few times.

The drive was quiet at first until Eren suggested putting on music. The kids agreed and Levi chose a song he thought they would know off of Eren's iPod. The kids seem to recognize the song and Levi decided to make the car ride a little less awkward. He started terribly singing to the song on purpose causing small snickers in the back seat. The first one to join in the shenanigans was Alex. She joined Levi in the terrible singing, which TJ thought was hilarious because she actually had a great voice... that is when she tried.

After a few minutes Thomas joined in and both Thomas and Alex were staring right at TJ singing to him and nodding trying to get him to join in. He sighed and finally started mumbling along with the lyrics with them and within minutes he had joined into the madness completely.

The first house they hit was Thomas's and Thomas didn't want to leave. He groaned before grabbing his backpack from the trunk. He thanked them and started heading for the door before turning and running back to the car really quickly and leaning through the back seat's open window. He gave TJ a kiss before heading back to the house. Everyone in the car now had their eyes on TJ whose face had gone red.

"What?" he said shyly as he covered his cheeks with one of his hands.

Eren and Levi turned back around giving each other a glance and a small smile before watching Thomas safely enter the house. They drove away heading to their house next.

When they got there the driveway was empty. They got out and got their backpacks. Thanking Eren and Levi before they walked up to the door and disappeared inside the house. Eren and Levi drove away and headed back home.

"Mom's not home again?" TJ asked.

"Good," Alex said plopping down on the couch. "I heard enough of her bitching this morning," she sighed rubbing her forehead. "Just thinking about it gave me a headache," she said before getting up and getting some water.

"Yeah," TJ said awkwardly. "I'm going to do my homework in my room," he said before heading towards the stairs. He paused at the bottom of them, "you wanna come too?" He asked.

Alex nodded and picked up her backpack and they went up to his room. They both worked on their homework and eventually finished it. They walked back down the stairs and realized that no one was home still. They set their backpacks by the door so they could just grab them in the morning without forgetting like they had done a few times.

"I'm going to go watch youtube videos of my future husband," Alex said heading up the stairs.

"He's too old for you, and he doesn't even know you exist," TJ said following her up the stairs.

She stopped and turned around. "Hush," she said putting a finger in front of his mouth. "Do you hear that?" she asked, "that's the sound of me not caring," she said with a little smile. " I can dream all I want, and you aren't going to ruin that dream with reality," she said before heading into her room.

TJ couldn't help but chuckle a little and roll his eyes before heading into his own room. From his room, he heard music playing from Alex's room. "She must be listening to the play's soundtrack again," he sighed. He left his room and went to knock on the door to tell her to turn it down before mom got home, but he stopped in front of her door when he heard her sing.

Her voice was beautiful and he never knew anyone could be so talented, and of course, the play she was listening to was emotional and had such sad songs. Hearing his sister sing those words just got to him and he felt tears come to his eyes. She sang and TJ closed his eyes and headed back to his room. He left his door cracked open so he could hear her sing. He listened to her sing with a smile on his face and as tears silently ran down his cheeks.

She had always loved plays, the music, the acting, the storyline, the dancing, she would constantly be talking about these new plays she had found. He hoped one day she would be able to see them live or maybe even participate in one, but until then she was stuck reading the summaries, looking up pictures, and listening to the music on repeat. The new play she had found was so sad and TJ swore from what he knew of the play there would be no happy sings, but despite his thoughts, there was a few. After listening to Alex ramble on about the play and the really hot actor who plays one of the main characters. He got interested in the storyline of it, but he couldn't let his sister know that, or he'd never hear the end of it. Her "I told you so," would haunt him. She had always said that if he found the right play he would get hooked, but he didn't believe her well until now.

From his room he listened to her sing these songs, these were the only times he could hear them since he was too stubborn to look them up himself. From just the few songs he heard he already could tell that this play was different from all the rest. If his sister told him to listen to the songs like she usually would do then he wouldn't argue against it. 'The reason she probably hasn't pushed this one on me like the others is because of the depressing storyline,' he thought remembering some of the things mentioned in the play.

He laid in his room on his bed, and he heard his phone buzz. He checked it and it was Thomas. He smiled and replied to the text. Eventually, Thomas confirmed the plan for tomorrow. "Text me if anything changes, but if not I will assume that the plan is still on. I get driven by Ash, and your mom drives you and hopefully she stops being so persistent right?" he texted.

"Yup," TJ replied. "I doubt anything will change, but I'll let you know," he texted as an afterthought.

Eventually, Thomas had to stop texting to do his homework which he was procrastinating. TJ threw his phone to the side and laid listening to the music from his sister's room. The music had gotten turned down a little, but if he closed his eyes and really tried he could hear it. With the music, he could hear her humming along too it.

He felt so peaceful and he didn't realize when he had drifted out of consciousness. He realized he had fallen asleep when he was awoken by his door that had been slammed open making him jump back into consciousness jolting awake.
