I went to the kitchen and put my tray were there other were and took off my skates but one of the waitress skated to me. her name was Sofia she was a brunet hair and brown eye and is 16
"Hey Sally who that cute boy you were talking to"said Sofia

"Is that the boy you like but you can't date because his brother is your guardian"she said quickly

I grab her hand and ran out of the bathroom then we started turning and skipping around the tables then grab a clean wipe and wipe the table then I threw the wipe in the air and grab my foot in the air like I do in cheerleading then put it down and grab the wipe

I look at Sally
"Singing?"I ask
"Yeah singing" she replied
"So Sally want to go to the movie with me" I ask
" sure which one" ask Sally
"Is it that scared movie with that goo monster" said two-bit
"Maybe" I said
"Oh I see he wants it to be romance so she can get scared and they can get close" said Steve
Our ears turn red
"Alright little brother"said soda
"Shut up soda"I said and Sally laugh
"hey Sally guess what's I two days"said two-bit
"what?"she ask
"Wow did you really forget birthday sal"said Steve then her sweet smile she had turn into a frown and she look down
Why did two-bit brought up her birthday me and soda look at him and Steve I guess the forgot about Sally past while Steve drove up to the house Sally jump out of the car and ran inside
"What?"two-bit said confuse
"Really you brought up her birthday" I said "you know she doesn't like talking about her birthday"

-Sally POV-
I ran in the house then ran in my room lock the bed and pull out a box from under my bed.i sat on the bed with the box and stared at it for 15 minutes I felt tears running down my face but I got the nerves to open it I reach my hand to the flap of the box slowly about to open it but the was a knock at the door.
"It's open"i said as I wipe the tear away from my cheek and hid the box when the door open it was Ponyboy
"Are you ok"
"Yeah fine"
"Why did you jump off"
"They was a bee and I didn't want to be stung"i lied
"Yeah right I want the real reason"
"Fine" I took the box out from hiding and to out a letter "ready this"
"What is it"
"It's a letter from my parents that dally had with the WILL LETTER I haven't open it yet"
"you read it"
"I hate you"i said with a smile but frown again and slowly open the letter it said:

Dear Sally,
I have really bad news I won't be able to make it to your birthday party and maybe all of them if I don't get better soon from this sickest I have something to tell you I wanted to wait until
You were older but there not enough time I mean I don't have that much time to tell you everything. there are someone who want to kill me the one person was your father.I'm so sorry my baby girl I made a huge lie to everyone and even you and Dallas I told Dallas already but I just wanted to say your father never loved me or you guys he only love the money and he want you to make more money by singing. The bad news is that we are going to have to hid away from him please understand if they get to me I want you to stay with the Curtis with your brother and stay away from your father I love you my baby girl don't forget that

"I can't believe this my father would never do this to my mom or me or Dallas"I said
"I'm so sorry sally" he said

-Sally flash back-
(Setting Sally room is 6 and it's her birthday and dally is 10)
I heard the door open and someone pushing me
"Sally get up,Sally get up!"whispers my brother then I woke up
"Dally what time is it"
"3 in the morning now get your things ready"he said as he empty out my backpack and pack my clothes I grab a little suit case and dally help me put on my shoes and leather jacket quickly .
"Dally where are we going"i ask worried
"Somewhere were dad won't be able to hit or abuse us we are running away"he said as he grab my hand and we walk quickly to the at the door then walk out quickly slowly closing the door walking away

"Don't worry about it baby girl"he said he didn't even bother look me in the eyes
"Dally I'm scared " I saw light from behind us we ran faster
"Dally"i started panicking I was scared I mean daddy started drinking and hitting us since mom died from a sickest she had few months back he think hitting us would teach us but it's over the knee(sometimes) or he hits us with a belt and when he hits you it's like pain from a punch.
"Nothing Sally just kept running"said dally
"Why does daddy hit us "i ask
"Sally stop asking question!"yelled dally so I shut up as we ran faster as I herd voice from the car
"Sally, dally get you ass in this car now"yelled a man I turn around as we ran faster it was daddy The car park and daddy started chasing us.i can feel a hand grab me "dally!"I yelled as i force to let go of dally hand for a second I though dally was leaving me as he ran. I was moving trying to get away but instead I was toss on the ground in tears and saw as my father took off his belt I just close my eyes.i shook as I got hit once then twice then another hit
"Daddy stop it!"I yelled as the pain started to hurt another slash was made but then it stop
"Sally!"I herd dally calling my name I got up slowly as I saw dally punching daddy.Dally pick me up as he ran faster and hid in park until it was safe to come out.
"What are we going to doing"i said
"I Don't know"
"I want mom "i said "where's dad"
"Sally before mom died she said go to the Curtis house and stayed there"he said as he hug me and few minutes I was in tears an in pain from the slashes of my father belt
"We can't tell then alright we have to say they died"said dally and I nodded .he hold my hand as we walk to Curtis house but ever time we saw a car we hid then continue walking and knock on the door as the door open
"Who's there"said a manly voice it's was mister Curtis he open the door "Sally,dally what are you doing here where your dad?"
"He dead"said dally
"Come inside"he said
"I'll be right back I forgot something" said dally "Sally you stay here"
I nodded I didn't know where he was going I went inside and saw Mrs.Curtis sitting on the couch I ran to her and hug her crying as she hug me back.i said that my father died in a car crash then they told me I couldn't tell Darry or soda or even my best friend Ponyboy so I didn't say a word and lied to them All of them but four years later I was only 10 Darry read my diary by accident and found out the true story and promise me he wouldn't tell no one.when I was 6 i didn't see dally come back but I found out he stoled something and went to jail on my birthday a 10 year old in jail while his 6 year old sister is with another family so I kept the secret I lost my family my mom now my dad but I didn't know anything about my dad is he still even alive.

(Still Sally POV)
Pony look at me while I had tears in my eyes
"So you kept this secret for about 9 years"he ask
I nodded then he wipe my tears away
"So you don't know if your dad alive"
"Nope"I said as I put the letter back in the box then put the box back under my bed.
"Who else knows"
"Me,darry,and now you"
He hug me and I hug back crying
"Thanks for telling me best friend"he said in my neck
"I sorry for not telling you"
"I understand"
I smiled and we walk out of my room then I notice Sodapop sitting on the couch.
"I was wondering where you guys were"
"We were in Sally room"
"Oh doing what"
"Um"said pony
"Looking threw old photos of us"i said before pony can open his mouth
"Cool you know you guys were so cute mr. and mrs Curtis"said soda with a grin
We were so red I can't believe he remembers that.
"So pony we were going to the movie"
"Oh yeah bye soda"said pony as we walk out but we herd
"Hey pony make sure you kiss when she scared it calm the girls down"yelled soda
Pony was red like a apple but I laugh.
