Chapter 18: Happy Halloween Pt 2

(SMUT CHAPTER! )

Hopper dropped off Amelia at the shop after visiting Joyce and went on to the station. Hopper gets out of the truck and is welcomed by a familiar smell coming from a truck parked next to his. He recognized the truck as Eugene's. Another local farmer and Merrill's top suspect of hitting his farm recently. He pulls back the tarp in the back of the truck and thousands of flies explode from the cover, but still swarmed over many rotten pumpkins.

"What the hell?" Hopper frowns.

Throwing the tarp back over the pumpkins, Hopper grunts and heads inside to get to the bottom of this.

After listening to Eugene's story, Hopper couldn't believe that two men would go so far over a feud.

"So, you're telling me that Merrill poisoned your farm, because he thinks you poisoned his, which, of course, you didn't?" Hopper asks, making sure he got the story right.

"No, sir. And I got me an alibi the night he accuses me." Eugene states with a furious frown, "My Jenny and her boys were in town. I was with them all night."

"Did you actually see Merrill?" Jim asks, rubbing his head.

"No need. That man done lost his mind. Went around slandering me, threatening all sorts of madness." Eugene says.

Powell snorts, "A pumpkin conspiracy."

"Hawkins' very own Chinatown." Callahan chuckles.

"Merrill threatening to do something and him actually doing something are two very different things." Hopper says.

Suddenly, Amelia walks into the station with big boxes and overhears everything, "I guess that's going to be a 'no' on buying pumpkins from you then, Eugene. I saw the truck outside. What happened?" She asks as she walks over towards the snack table.

"That miserable old fart hit my farm, that's what happened, Miss Holloway." Eugene says sighs deeply.

"Are you two still at it? When will you boys ever stop? I swear, you two are acting like a bunch of five year olds." Amelia scoffs as she unloads more donuts and refills the coffee pot.

"I'll stop when he stops. Which will be till he's six feet in the ground." Eugene grumbles, then looks at Hopper again, "You got a better explanation?" He says, gesturing at his rotten pumpkins.

Hopper shrugs, "Cold weather."

"It's October, Babe." Amelia points out as she walks by, patting his shoulder. She greets Flo with a smile as she hands her a box.

"Yeah, it's a cold one." Hopper says.

"Oh, that's so cute!" Flo exclaims as Amelia smiles and opens the box.

"Like them? Thought the kids would like the idea since Ghostbusters recently came out and everyone is raving about that movie. I made Stay-Puff sailor cookies with a little marshmallow blob for his stomach, Slimer Cupcakes, proton puffs, and a little surprise for Mike, Lucas, Will, and Dustin." She grins and leans over to whisper in Flo's ear.

Flo laughs, "Oh, my goodness, that'll scare those poor kids to death."

"That's the point." Amelia gives her a mischievous grin.

Eugene wasn't done. He sends Hopper a glare and holds his hands up.

"You see these hands?"

"Yeah."

"You know why they look like that?"

"Because you're old?"

"You're damn straight."

Powell couldn't help but chuckle and Amelia stifles a giggle, Eugene sends them both a glare, but continues to speak.

"And I've been doing this a long time, Chief. A long time. And I ain't never seen anything the likes of this. None of us have." Eugene sighs out.

"None of us?" Jim frowns.

"Merrill didn't just hit me last night. He hit damn near everyone." Eugene says.

Amelia was curious and moves closer, "What are you talking about?"

"Jack O'Dell, Pete Freeling, Rick Neary, the Christensens. All of their crops, dead." Eugene says.

Amelia and Jim both share a concerned look and he sits up as he grabs a pad and pencil, "Give me those names again." He says and takes the names down.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jim frowns as he stands in the middle of Eugene's farm with him as his daughter, Jenny, and her boys watch from afar. Flies buzzed all around them as the overpowering smell invaded their noses. Jim kneels down and uses a pen to look at one pumpkin that was completely black. It folds over into slime as he poked it.
"Ugh." He gags and quickly get to his feet, covering his nose and mouth from the smell.
"Now, you tryin' to tell me, with a straight face, cold did this?" Eugene asks Hopper.
Jim was more concerned with the distance. It looked like the rot didn't stop at the farm.
"How far does it go?" He asks as he walks towards the woods and paces towards a tree that was covered in the same kind of rot and slime coated the bark. "Jesus." He mutters. Hopper lifts a gloved hand and touches the slime. It looked so familiar, he couldn't put his finger on it.
"Hey, Chief, you copy?" Powell's voice erupts from the COMM.
Hopper grunts as he tries to get the slime off his glove and reaches for his COMM, "Uh...
"Hey, Chief."
"How's it looking over there?"
"Like a giant pissed all over Jack's bean field. Smells, too. It smell over there?"
"Uh, yeah, little bit."
Callahan grunts in disgust as he and Powell look over the rotten crops that were once green, now gray and covered in weird slime, "Smells like a nursing home, man."
Powell waves his off as he tries to listen to Hopper's orders, "Listen. I want you guys to track the rot, see how far it goes. Just, uh, mark anything that's dead."
"That's gonna take some time." Hopper could hear the frown in his voice.
"So take it. And, look, we don't know what caused this. Could be poison. So don't touch anything without gloves." Hopper warns.
But, Powell looks behind him to see Callahan touching the slime, and sniffing it on his fingers. He sighs and rolls his eyes, "Copy that, Chief."
Hopper turns back to Eugene, "You got any marking flags?" He asks.
As soon as he got the flags, he begins to mark from the farm through the woods, following the rotten trail. He had a gut feeling this wasn't going to turn out the way he expects. Something was going on with the crops. But he needed to find out what before the panic starts.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Wicked laughter erupts from sound box Amelia had outside her shop as trick or treaters walked by while the fake skeleton jumps out of its coffin, waving its boney arms all over as if it was reaching for the kids as they shriek in laughter while their parents trail behind, laughing and recording them on their new video cameras.

Earlier, the boys, dressed as the Ghostbusters, began trick or treating not long before the sun went down and began to explore the neighborhood, starting at Mike's house. Johnathan was supposed to join, but Will wanted to be independent for once and Johnathan wanted to be somewhere else than there. He was curious about what Nancy was doing and wanted to get the chance to talk to her.

While roaming the streets, they ran into Max, dressed as Michael Myers.

"GRRRRRRRRRR!"

The boys scream as a figure dressed as Michael Myers jump in their way, waving around a large kitchen knife. Scaring them half to death. Lucas was so terrified, he squeals in a high-pitched voice.

The figure burst into fits of laughter and takes off the mask, it was Mad Max. She giggles and looks at them in shock.

"Holy shit! You should have seen the look on your faces." She laughs hard and scoffs at Lucas, "And you? Who screams like that? You sound like a little girl."

"What are you doing here?" Mike scoffs.

"Well, it's Halloween, I'm in a costume, and people are giving out free candy. It's a thing called, 'Trick or Treating'." Max says sarcastically. "Plus, Lucas and Dustin invited me, so I thought why the hell not." She shrugs. "So are we going to this bakery shop or not? Dustin wouldn't shut up about it. Glad I'm not the only one being stalked." She laughs and turns to leave.

Dustin and Lucas follow her with chuckles and Will grabs Bob's camera to record everything while Mike scoffs at them all and staggers behind, glaring at them in annoyance.

It took them a while but they made it to Amelia's shop.

"You're gonna love her. She makes the best treats ever." Dustin continues to rave.

"Last year, she made zombie cookies with blood and slime. And realistic vampire fangs." Lucas exclaims.

"Amelia says she's making Ghostbusters treats for us." Will says.

Dustin and Lucas both turn fast at him, "Are you serious?! What the hell are we waiting for?"

The three of them rush towards the shop with Max laughing at how silly they were acting, but rushes to catch up. Mike sighs and throws his bag over his shoulder, dragging his feet.

Dustin and Lucas rush inside the shop and yell when a wailing ghost decoration was shoved in their faces. Will and Max laugh hysterically.

"Oh, please tell me you got that on tape." Max begs and cheers when Will holds a thumbs up.

"Miss Holloway, we're here!" Lucas calls out.

"Woah! Look at the feast!" Max exclaims at the candies and pastry laid out on a long table.

"Slimer Cupcakes!" Mike exclaims.

"Gozer candies! Wow!" Dustin shouts.

"Are any of you boys the key master?"

They all turn at Amelia's voice, but the boys jaw drops as well as the treats from their hands as Amelia stood dressed up as Dana Barrett when she was possessed by Zuul. The beautiful orange amber dress with the golden sash tied around her waist. She even had matching makeup and her hair was wild.

"Woah. I've died and gone to heaven." Dustin states.

Amelia giggles, "I'm gonna take that as a compliment to my costume."

"You actually nailed the look. That's amazing." Mike exclaims.

"Thanks, Mike. And you boys look awesome. You really hit the bullseye. But why are there 2 Venkmens?" She asks.

Mike slaps Lucas' arm, "I told you someone's going to notice." He scoffs.

Amelia waves her hand to stop the fight, "Hey, doesn't matter. It's understandable you both want to be Peter since he's the one who got the girl in the end." She giggles and moves towards the counter.

"I see you have a new member." Amelia looks over her shoulder as she grabs her camera. "Max, I presume."

Max frowns, "Yeah, how did you...?"

Amelia grins with a knowing look, "Your mother came in a couple of days ago. She told me all about you. And what a beauty you are." She smiles, "I love your choice of costume. Michael Myers is my favorite and who says women can't play a man's role."

Max smiles and laughs softly.

Amelia claps, "Okay, grab what you want and I'll pack it up for you. I know you all are dying to get back to trick or treating. And I have one more surprise."

She turns and walks around towards the kitchen and brings out a mobile tray with a sheet hiding something. The boys and Max watch in wonder.

"Since this is too big, I'm gonna keep it in the chiller until you guys split it. And until your mothers use up a whole film role on it." She says, giving them understandable looks.

They all gasps in amazement when she pulls the sheet back. It was a large cake pyramid of Gozer's throne with edible miniature figures of the demon dogs and Gozer herself.

Amelia holds up her hands, "Hold the applause." She reaches and grabs a wire with a switch and clicks it. A fog erupts around the cake and growls were made from a small speaker with fake lightning.

"Zuuuuuuuul!!!"

"Choose the form of the Destructor!"

"That is awesome!" The boys exclaim excitedly.

"Okay, I have to admit, that is pretty cool. Where did you learn all this?" Max exclaims.

"I've learned from the best by my Grams and I taught myself how to mold and draw. Practice makes perfect." Amelia says. "Let your parents know if you want slices of the cake and have them come down whenever they want." She adds but watches Max drop her smile when she mentions parents. She had a feeling there was tension between her stepfather and stepbrother. Especially, the stepbrother.

With their bags loaded and pictures taken, Amelia sends them off and smiles at them all as they excitedly roam the streets.

Meow... Theo pops up and rubs against her ankles, "Yeah. Poor girl. Such a sweet girl underneath that tough look." Meow... Amelia chuckles, "Don't tempt me. That Billy sure does need a major ass kicking. And he's gonna get it." Meow... "Oh, you saw that? Yeah I'm ok. And no, do not tell Jim. He'll freak out."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eleven sat on the couch, watching a movie called Jaws. Waiting for Amelia and Hopper to come home and watch it with her and eat candy like they promised.
She gasps as she jumps at the secret knock. She sighs in relief and smiles. She rushed to the other side of the room and calls her energy to unlock the door.
It was Amelia, carrying boxes of treats and two pizza hutt boxes. She quickly shuts the door and locks it up after placing everything down on the table.
"Hey, starshine. I have promised and I have delivered. Ready for the greatest Halloween ever?" She says with a big smile.
Eleven frowns, "Hopper?"
Amelia frowns and looks around, "He's not here still?" She looks at her watch. "Well, it's not 5:15 yet. He might be on his way. The streets are covered with kids and drunk teenagers."
Eleven frowns, "Drunk what?"
"Alcohol, sweetie. Something you should never do. Not until you're 21, at least." Amelia chuckles. "Well, why don't we get started with our movie marathon. Jim can catch up when he gets here. I brought lots of food for us to enjoy and..." She gives Eleven a soft smile as she hands her an envelope.
Eleven frowns and gasps when she opens it, it was pictures of Mike and their friends. She smiles and laughs at how silly they all looked. She frowns when she comes across a picture of a girl.
"Who's she?"
"That's Max. She recently moved here and needed new friends. Don't worry...Lucas likes her. And She likes Lucas. Don't worry that beautiful face." Amelia says as she senses jealousy.
Still, Eleven didn't like the idea of Mike being with another girl.
Amelia wraps her arm around her, "Let's watch Halloween and eat pizza. Then we can watch Ghostbusters and Alien..."
Throughout the night, Amelia and Eleven at pizza, candies and pastries as they watched horror movies with a big blanket and the lights were off. The cabin was filled with creepy music.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hopper grunts as he kneels down to place the last marking flag into the ground. He sighs, seeing his breath fog over his lips as he looks at how far it goes. It looked like it goes further than the flags he had. He needed to head back to the station first light and find the source of the rot.

He looks around as he heads back towards the farm. The rotten crops were now covered with a thick fog as he was heading towards his truck, but skids to a halt when he senses he wasn't alone. He turns and shines his light through the crops. He clicks his holster to get his gun. He grips it tight as he gets ready...

He turns fast, gun ready to be drawn, but he sighs in relieve when it was just Eugene's grandson who was dressed up like a cowboy. Shoot his toy gun at Hopper, which made loud gunshot sounds.

"You're dead." The kid grins.

Rolling his eyes, Hopper grumbles at this Halloween Holiday, "Yeah, you got me, kid." The kid continues to fire the toy gun, "Happy Halloween." He says, but his eyes widen in realization that he was late. He checks his watch and sighs in frustration. "Oh, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit." He rushes to his truck and drives off. But he stops when he remembers noticing the kids plastic pumpkin. He promised Eleven candy. He puts the truck in reverse and speeds backwards to talk to the kid.

Groaning in frustration, he quickly rolls his window down, "Hey, kid. Give me some of that candy, would you?" He asks.

"No way." The kid shakes his head strongly.

Hopper reaches into his wallet and pulls out five bucks. He holds it up for the kid to see, "All right. How about now?"

At the cabin, Eleven and Amelia were still snuggled on the couch as they watched Ghostbusters.

Eleven and Amelia were both giggling as they watch how Bill Murray acted.

Suddenly, they both gasp when beeping is made from the HAM radio. Eleven and Amelia perk up when they realize it was a message. They scramble to their feet as they rush toward the radio, listening to the beeping. Morse code. Eleven looks up at the paper that was pinned to the wall. It was the alphabet with the code. Letting them know what was being spelled.

"L...A...T...E." Eleven spells as she listens, pointing at the letters.

Amelia sighs, she was afraid of this, "Late."

Eleven drops her hand in disappointment. In fact, she was more disappointed in Hopper. She hated it when people did not keep their promises.

Amelia gives her a side hug, "I'm sorry, starshine. He had a big case today and I guess it took up his time.".

She knew how much Eleven was counting on tonight. To go trick or treating, be normal for once, and get candy like any kid gets on this night. Since she can't leave the cabin, she should, at least get candy. But she knew she wanted to see Mike. Even though she denies it. But tonight, it was about Jim and Amelia. . They were her only parental figures she had right now. Now that Papa was gone. And yet, he continues to give her disappointments.

Eleven was glad Amelia kept her promise, but she wanted both of them or nothing.

"Do you wanna finish the movie?" Amelia asks.

Eleven shakes her head, "Mm-mm."

"More pizza or candies?"

Eleven continues to shake her head.

Amelia sighs and kisses her head, "You can go in your room, if you want. I know you don't want to see him when he gets here."

"Hopper promised. Why does he not keep them?" She asks, disappointment in her voice.

"He can't help it, sweetie. But he tries. Tomorrow, whatever promise he makes, I'm gonna drag him home by his ear so he can keep it." Amelia gives her a soft smile and hugs her. "He's coming home soon, go on. Why not go see Mike?"

Eleven perks up at Mike's name. She hasn't visited him in the void since yesterday. She gets out of Amelia's arms and heads into her room. Amelia could hear the other tv going off. During the summer, Amelia got another tv for Eleven so she could go on trips to see Mike in her mind. It helps but Amelia fears it's not going to be enough soon.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Amelia gasps and jumps when she hears the secret knock, waking her from her sleep. She clears her throat and rubs her tired eyes. Ghostbusters ended as she slept on the couch. Rubbing her eyes, she gets up as knocking starts again but stops when Jim calls out.
Jim sighs and rests his head against the door, "Hey, kid. Open up, all right?" Hopper tries to call out to Eleven, "Look, I know I'm late. I got candy here, all right? I got all the good stuff. Please, will you open the door? I'm gonna freeze to death out here." He says, breathing heavily from the cold as his breath fogs around his lips.
Soon, he hears the locks and bolts click and clatter. He quickly opens the door and rushes inside, coming face to face with Amelia, wrapped in a plaid blanket.
"Hey, babe." He sighs.
"Hey. She's in there." She nods at Eleven's bedroom door.
"Is she mad?"
"Disappointed. I know you're trying, Jim. She needs to understand." Amelia says.
Jim sighs heavily and yanks his hat off, slapping it against his thigh in frustration, "Yeah, but obviously, I'm not trying enough." He moves and slumps on the couch.
"It takes time." Amelia sighs.
Jim looks around and sees the pizza and candies and pastries, "You really went all out and I come back with this crappy haul I bought off from a kid."
Amelia laughs, "Oh, Jim, you didn't. You were desperate." She moves and snuggles into his lap. "Mr. Grizzly. Don't be so down. Tomorrow, we'll sit down and talk. All three of us. Okay?"
Jim sighs pressing his head against hers as he breathes her in, "What would I do without you? You always keep me so calm."
Amelia smiles, "It's my nature." Soon, a mischievous grin forms on her face, "Now I have been dying to ask you something when you got here?"
"What's that?" He asks as he lifts his head to look at her.
She gets up and let's the blanket fall to show off her costume, Jim gulps at the sight and watches her slide back on to his lap, straddling him.
"Are you the Key Master?" She breathes into his ear and grinds against his lap, feeling something grow and harden.
"You bet your ass I am." He wraps his arms around her and holds her as he gets up and carries her to the bedroom with her laughing.
(SMUT!)
"Damn, you look so sexy." He whispers and continues to carry her to their bed. He honestly felt like they haven't had a night to themselves since Eleven came into their lives.
Amelia kisses him as he guides them both on the bed as she remains wrapped around him. Jim moans against her lips and deepens the kiss as it becomes passionate. He holds her with one hand as he uses the other to help himself get on the bed with her. She unwraps herself and plumps on the bed with him on top of her.
Amelia pants against his lips and whimpers when he moves away to yank off his jacket and gun belt. He tosses it across the room and his belt clatters on the floor.
Before he could crawl back on top of her, he grunts when Amelia shoves him on his back and straddles him, giggling as she unbuckles his pants.
"Do you want this body?" She purrs.
"Oh, hell yeah, I want it." He says huskily. "I want it bad." He surprises her by yanking the top part of her dress down, exposing her breasts before his eyes. He sits up to capture her nip, moaning around her flesh as he hungrily sucks.
Amelia gasps and moans at the hard sucks and the soft bites he gave her. She whimpers and cries out as she digs her fingers through his hair. Jim moans at her taste, licking away the pain after his bites down, trailing his tongue over her flesh, her neck, till his lips found hers. He grunts as he kisses her again, yanking her dress open and tosses it away.
Amelia breaks the kiss, panting heavily and reaches to unbutton his shirt quickly. He yanks it off and grabs his white undershirt, pulling it over his head and tosses it on the floor.
"Does Zuul wanna fuck?" He pants and starts yanking his pants down, but before he could get them off his ankles, she shoves him back against the pillows.
"She wants a ride." She whispers against his lips and gasps when he rips her panties.
"Come on, baby. Ride it." He growls out and moans when she takes him in her hand and aims herself. "Oh, yeah." He grunts and moans as she slides down and feels himself go deep. She begins to give him a wild ride. He liked this position because it always gave him a wonderful view. She was so beautiful as she rode him like a wild tigeress. Her hair flinging back as she rides him up and down, grinding deeply. He lifts his hips to meet her movements and cries out as she tightens around him.
Jim grunts rhythmically as he thrusts upward, making her moan more and cry out. He grits his teeth to fight the orgasm. Panting heavily, he throws his head back with a shout, feeling her squeeze him. He knew she did that on purpose. She had such a talent to drive him wild like that.
"Fuck!" He grits his teeth, hitting the pillow with his head, struggling to stop his orgasm.
Amelia leans down, smirking, "You liked that?" She does it again, making him shout.
"Shit! Don't do that. You're gonna make me..." He grunts and arches his back. He didn't want it to end so quickly, but it was hard. The feel of her and the sight of her beautiful face as it scrunches in pleasure.
Giggling with a wicked grin, "Oh, am I?" She purrs then cries out when he flips positions and finds herself on her back and he was on top. He kicks away his pants and underwear and slides back inside her, making her gasp in pleasure and begins to pound her wildly and deeply.
"Ohhh, my god! Oh!" She whimpers.
Jim continues to love her body, thrusting deep and hard. He cries out as his body jerks. He drops on top of her, still loving her roughly. He holds her tight against him, moaning in her ear and grips her hair with one hand while the other hand grips the sheets for support.
"Ohh! Ohhh!" Jim moans erotically. "Lia!"
She cries out and digs her nails into his back as the ending was coming. He begins to twitch violently inside her and she tightens hard around him.
Both of them cry out together and stiffen as they come as one. Jim arches his back as he gives her one more shove as she drains him dry.
Jim collapses over her, putting his weight on her as he buried his face in her neck as they both lie limply over the mattress, panting heavily. Sweat coated their bodies.
Amelia smiles and holds on to Jim, making pleased noises, "That was wonderful."
"Mm-hmm. I think it gets better and better with you." He says sleepily.
She couldn't help but giggle, "Wiped you out, too?"
"I don't want to move. You feel so good." He sighs.
Amelia reaches between them and removes herself from him but doesn't push him off. He winces a little but sighs when he was free.
"And you feel so warm. My teddy bear." She smiles as he laughs and lightly tickles his back with her fingers.
"That feels so good. I'm too wiped out to even get the blankets." He sighs.
With a snap of her fingers, the blankets begins to crawl over their bodies and cover them both.
"Mmm, I sometimes forget you can do that." He lifts his head lazily and gives her a soft kiss. He smiles as it breaks and looks down at her. "Let's get some sleep."
Amelia smiles and snuggles against him as sleep comes for them both.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Amelia yawns as fixes breakfast while Jim and Eleven continues to sleep. She wanted them both to have a good meal before talking. And she knew they need to talk about this situation.

Amelia looks over her shoulder as the bedroom door opens and sees Jim buttoning up his shirt, all dressed for work.

"Morning, handsome." She smiles and feels him walk towards her, wrapping his arms around her.

"Mmm, morning, baby." He sighs and kisses her neck, resting his chin on her shoulder. "Last night was amazing... despite everything."

"I agree." She grins at how wonderful he was last night. They never role-played like that before. It was hot.

Jim looks over to Eleven's door and sighs, "Is she up yet?"

"No and she's still upset. Maybe we should make her something. Improve the Eggos. Maybe even use that haul you brought in." She smiles at his scoff.

"Candy for breakfast?"

"Hey, I'm not one with the idea, but I want to see my starshine smile. Just for today." She says.

Against his better judgement, Jim worked on the Eggos and loaded it up with candy corns, chocolate, and whipped cream, which made Theo go crazy.

"Mmm, this is gonna be good." Jim licks the whipped cream.

Amelia giggles a slaps his hand, "Save some for El. Go wake her up." She shoos him and turns to catch Theo with his head in the bowl of cream. "Theo!"

Theo looks up, his entire face coved with cream. He licks his lips and just smiles.

Meow...

Eleven stirs from her slumber, blinking at the morning light. She sighs softly when she opens her eyes, but frowns when she sees Hopper leaning on her bedroom door frame.

"Rise and shine." He greets her. But, she turns on her side quickly, avoiding him with an angry aura. She was still upset with him.

Hopper sighs, sensing she was still mad with him. He looks over his shoulder and sees Amelia setting the table. He rest his head against his wrist and looks over to Eleven again.

"So that's it, huh? You're still not talking?" Still met with silence. "All right. I guess I'm just gonna have to, uh...enjoy this triple-decker Eggo extravaganza with Amelia." He baits. "She and I worked very hard on this. It's going to be so good." He sing-songs as he walks back into the kitchen.

Eleven couldn't resist when he said Eggo. She sits up and begins to get out of bed, walking towards the kitchen.

Amelia smiles, walking up to her, "Morning, starshine." She gives her a hug and kisses her head. She grunts as Eleven hugs her back. She wasn't mad at Amelia; it was Hopper who was at fault.

After eating a nice breakfast, the three of them begin to enjoy the triple deck of Eggos

Hopper grunts at the sweetness but makes yummy sounds. Despite how strong the sugar was, it was still good.

"Mmm! Mmm! Good, right? Know the great thing about it? It's only 8,000 calories." He says.

Amelia laughs as she licks up the cream off her fingers. She looks over at the tv in Eleven's room and sighs softly.

"Did you see Mike?" She asks.

Hopper sniffles and waits for Eleven's answer.

Eleven sighs as she keeps her eyes down, thinking about Mike and how much she misses him, "He says he needs me."

Hopper wished he could do more, but all he can offer is just what he had now, "Want me to go check on him?" But to their surprise, she shakes her head. He knew that she wanted to see him for herself. "Look, I know that you miss Mike. I do. All right? But, remember, it's too dangerous. Eleven, you're the last thing Mike needs right now." He says, he didn't mean to sound so harsh, but it was true. Mike needed to get his life straighten out and he can't do that if she comes back into his life. "Okay? You are going to see him. Soon. And not just in that head of yours. You're gonna see him in real life. I feel like I'm making progress with these people." Hopper assures her.

Eleven, however, didn't believe him anymore.

"Friends don't lie." She glares at him.

"What?" Hopper frowns at her and Amelia was startled with her new attitude.

"You say 'soon' on day 21. You say 'soon' on day 205. You now say 'soon' on day 326?" Eleven scoffs.

Hopper looks at her in disbelief, "What is this? You're counting the days now like you're some kind of prisoner?"

"When is 'soon'?" She demands.

"'Soon' is when...it's not dangerous anymore." Hopper says, hesitantly. Honestly, he had no idea when is 'soon'.

"When?" Eleven demanded a straight answer, she was tired of the waiting.

"I don't know." Hopper says.

"On day 500?"

"I don't know."

"On day 600?"

"I don't know."

"Day 700? On day 800?" Eleven's voice begins to rise with her anger and frustration.

"No!" Hopper meets her tone, trying to calm her, but she has had it with it all. She wanted Mike!

"I need to see him. Tell me!" Eleven shouts.

"I said I--" Hopper tries to assure her, but Eleven jerks her head up, calling the energy inside to force the Eggo extravaganza fly at him. He shouts in surprise and Amelia jumps as the cream flies everywhere, hitting the walls, Hopper, and her. "Oh! Shit! Shit!" Hopper jumps to his feet as he exclaims at the feeling of the food splattering all over him. He sends Eleven a glare and Eleven matches his with a colder one as she snaps to her feet.

"Friends don't lie!" She shouts and paces back into her room, waving her arm to use her energy to slam to door shut.

Jim stood, glaring at the bedroom door in anger and in a fit of rage, Hopper kicks the table, causing Amelia to jump in fright. She sighs and places her elbows on the table and covers her face.

Snatching the rest of the Eggo extravaganza, Hopper paces in anger towards the trash can and shoves it into the bag, even tossing the plate inside.

Amelia gets up and walks to the kitchen and gets a washcloth, using the sink to dampen it and wipes down the walls and table. Jim storms into the bedroom and tries to clean himself up.

After calming himself down, Jim exits the bathroom and looks up and sees Amelia cleaning the kitchen. He sighs deeply, still bothered with Eleven's attitude, but he walks to grab his gun belt and hat and walks towards her, hugging her from behind.

Amelia sighs in his arms and holds on to his grip, "The cabin fever is getting to her. It hurts watching her suffer like this."

He sighs softly, "Yeah. Look, I'm trying. I am. I haven't been a...a parent figure...in a very long time. Helping and raising one teenager is beyond my knowledge."

"Mine as well. I'm as clueless as you are." Amelia sighs and turns in his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck, "But we're learning together and we're helping each other. And remember, she's a teenager who's in love. And a fugitive. We have to understand how she feels."

Jim nods, "I honestly don't know when is 'soon'. Getting the lab on my side is taking time. When? I don't know. I know you and Eleven hate me saying that but it's the truth. I don't know. But, once I make more progress with them, I'll find out." He says.

Amelia strokes his cheek and beard, "I could never hate you. I know you're trying with all your might. It's them I hate." She sighs as he leans down and presses his lips against her forehead, "Just please be safe for me and her."

Hopper nods, "I will. That I truly promise." He lifts his head and checks his watch and mutters, "I need to go. Gotta figure out what's causing the crops to rot."

"And I got to head to the shop. Parents from last night are waiting for me so they can take pictures of the cake I made last night." Amelia says and kisses him quickly so he could head to work. "I'll try to calm her a bit."

"Ok. See you later, Honey." He says as he grabs his jacket and heads out the door.

Amelia sighs softly and goes to the bedroom to shower and dress. When she walks out of the bedroom, she sees Eleven peeking out of her door.

"You okay, starshine?"

Eleven sighs and walks out to her arms, hugging her tight.

"Oh, sweetie, I know. I know you're hurting. Please try to have patience and don't mad at Hop. He's trying."

Eleven sniffles and looks up at her, "But when is 'soon'?" She asks.

Amelia strokes her face, "I don't know either, baby. And I'm very sorry we can't give you the answers you want. But I strongly believe that 'soon' is in a couple of days. But we do need you safe. If they find you..." She sighs shakily and hugs Eleven tight. "My heart can't take it and Mike will get into trouble. So will Jim and I." She pulls away and sighs with a knowing look, "Be careful and let no one see you." She whispers, hinting at her as she lets go and turns to leave.

Amelia stands on the porch with Theo at her feet.

Meow..."Theo, she's going on a field trip soon. Watch over her for me and don't let her get caught." Meow..."I know he's gonna be pissed. But I'm tired of her suffering." Meow... "I know it's not a good idea. But what can I do? I can't stop her and I wasn't here." She says and heads to her car as Theo does a double take and growls in annoyance.

Amelia sighs and looks back at the path towards the cabin. Honestly, she was worried about Eleven. She loved her like a daughter. With her experiencing the strong urge to see Mike in person, she worries Eleven might endanger them all. When is what scared her. When.
