Eren's P.O.V

I'm so sick of him ... Levi thinks he can tell everyone what to do.
I didn't become a member of the survey corps to do the laundry. I didn't do this to become his slave.
I did this because I can't watch my life go by inside those walls, because I can't let those monstrosities live.

If only I could leave. I could do it with no issues... except... for her.

I could never leave her.

How could I be so stupid? My whole world revolves around her.
If it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't be here. I would have been pummelled to death years ago by one of the other kids, or citizens. I've always had such a loud mouth. Well that's because my opinions matter too!

But, even so, she would always stop me when things got out of hand. When it got too much to handle. She would always understand. Although I could never see her as family. I guess I always saw her as....more.

Oh my god. Do I love Mikasa?

Mikasa's P.O.V

I can't believe that pipsqueek is watching him. Staring at Eren like that. Eren's not his to stare at. But he's not mine either *sigh*.
Who am I kidding?! He's like a brother to me I can't stare at him like that!
What's the point? No matter what I do I'll always love him. He saved me, how could I not?

I'm finished hiding my feelings away like this I'm going to tell him the truth, first thing in the morning. No matter what it does.

Sun rise

*suddenly awake and out of bed. Ready to tell Eren the truth.*

Eren! Eren where are you?!
Why can't I find him?
Oh I remember. He had a mission today.
*sigh* well I guess it will have to wait.

Eren gets back from his mission being carried by Levi downstairs to his room.

Mikasa: Levi! Levi! What's wrong with him?
Levi: We found an abnormal with REALLY sharp claws. Eren turned into a titan to protect us. He's been out for a while, but we don't think he's hurt.
Mikasa:Oh thank god!

Later on that evening he finally wakes up...

Mikasa: Eren! Are you okay?
Eren: Yeah. OW! I'm fine. I just hurt my head.
Mikasa: oh okay... come with me, I wanna show you something.
Eren: Okay?

On the roof

Eren: Are you sure we're allowed up here?
Mikasa: I always come up here.
Eren: Really? Why?
Mikasa: Look up.
They stare up at the night sky. Their hands slowly edged closer together. They look down at their now connecting hands, then at each other awkwardly with embarrassment.
Mikasa: Eren.... I've been.....meaning to talk to you.
Eren: I understand....... I feel the same...... I promise.

They lean in to each other slowly and kiss each other meaningfully, their worlds combining in this one kiss, their promise was made to each other.

Levi: Well isn't that just adorable. (Sarcastically)
Eren: OH MY GOD!..... HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN THERE?!
Levi: Long enough to know everything.

And so began a long relationship.

Two years later....

Mikasa: Eren..... I've been meaning to talk to you.......... you're going to be a father.
Eren:Oh my god.... I promise I will never let those beasts near our child. I promise you that.
Levi: Well I guess that's my promise too. I haven't been much of a cousin after all.
Armin: I will try but I doubt I'll be much help.
Eren: of course you will Armin.

One month into her pregnancy....

Welcome to my pregnancy diary..... I thought this useful to read to you when you became old enough to understand.

Month 1

Your father's being over protective lately. Telling me not to go on missions. You and I both know that I wouldn't except that. I have told him that I'm going on missions until the day you are born, and not a day earlier. Well I've got to go now. I'll continue to write as the months go on.

Your father and I have been so excited, we've started thinking of names. We're thinking Marco for a boy or Petra for a girl. If we've raised you right then you'll already know why.

I'm starting to show now. I'm so excited I can barely contain it. Uncle Levi thinks you're a boy. But your father thinks that you're a girl. I'm yet to decide. Morning sickness is not fun, but its nothing yet. I'm going to look forward to holding you in my arms for the first time. You're going to be strong and honest, with good morals. We will raise you right.

Hey,
Uncle Levi is being a pest. He's gone protection mad! Every time I go to get a kill he takes it from me. He says that it is too dangerous for me to kill titans "in my condition". What kind of crap is that?

Wow! You're growing fast! I can't see my feet! All I can see is my big toe! We've decided that Armin will be your god father, and Historia will be your god mother. Speaking of which, Ymir and Historia are looking to adopt.

We've got a big mission coming up in 2 months time. It's going to be dangerous, but with power like Erens, oops, I mean your fathers, it will be easy. We're going to try and make it all the way to the basement.

Hahaha, this bump is getting ridiculous to work around. I had to ask Sasha to help me get my socks on this morning, and I've had to have a special harness made to fit comfortably around my bump.

The day of the mission....

Levi: ARMIN! I'VE GOT EREN, YOU GO HELP MIKASA.
Mikasa: WHY?! IM FINE!
Levi: STOP BEING SO STUBORN! ARMIN GO!

A jumping titan with razor sharp claws appears out of nowhere and grabs Mikasa...

Mikasa:Aaaahhhh! Let me go you disgusting creature!
Armin: MIKASA!
Armin in his mind: I've got to release it's hand muscles before I kill it. Otherwise it could crush Mikasa....
Armin: LEVI!!! WAIT!!!

Levi cuts the neck of the titan before Armin even had the chance to speak...... THAT was his mistake.
The titan falls to the ground with Mikasa in its hand.

(flashback) Earlier that morning....
Eren: You can't go on this mission.
Mikasa: And who gives YOU the right to stop me?
Eren: you're my life and I'm not going to let your stubbornness take my life away from me.
Mikasa: I don't care what you say Eren. I'm going.
(End of flashback)

Levi: MIKASA!!! MIKASA ARE YOU OK?!!
Mikasa:(climbs out from under the titans hand and stares at the ground) It's gone........ isn't it.
Levi:(A tear runs down his cheek and drops to the ground) What have I done?
Mikasa:(continues to stare at the ground. She turns towards Armin, who'd just caught up to the other two, and cries on his shoulder.) Levi....... can you....... tell Eren....... when he wakes up?
Levi:(drops to his knees on the floor) Yes..... I'll try.

1 month later...

This hill.... out where your free from the walls. We'll bury you both here....I want you to take the diary with you. It will be something to read to each other while you're up there...
Goodbye Marco (she leans down and gently kisses the first box) Goodbye Petra (she does the same again to the second. Eren follows her action to both box's.)
Mummy loves you
(A tear falls down Erens cheek. Mikasa had been crying everyday since that faithful day, Levi place a hand on both coffins)
Levi: I broke my promise.... and I'll never forget it.
