"Hey, look down." someone shouted.

This made me and my friend Ema to stop and look down. We saw there was a big ground hole digged by someone. This made us realise we were so busy in talking with each other that we might have fallen inside the hole.

Ema turned back and said, "Thank you, Mr__?"

"Ayan, my name. Also, no need for thanking me. Anyone who saw might have alerted you." Ayan replied with a decent smile.

Ayan: A good-looking guy with some great sense of humour. Usually found doing one or the other mischievous things but is kind by heart. He is always first to help and trouble teachers.

"Aww Ayan, that's so sweet of you as well your smile. By the way I am Ema and she is Piyu." Ema introduced with a big grin on her face.

"Ohh, thanks for the compliment Ema." Ayan expressed, while moving his fingers on back of his hair.

"Well, we never saw you before in our college. Are you a new student?" Piyu asked him.

"Yup." Ayan answered.

"Awesome. Why don't you join us?" Ema reacted with excitement.

Ema: A girl who is not at all innocent and is a big flirt. But apart from this she is kind and always ready to make friends type of person. She is a free soul who loves adventures. Also, she is closest to Piyu and is her best friend.

"HELL NO." Piyu yelled, due to which both of them started staring at her. She didn't want to trust Ayan just within first meet.

Piyu: A girl who is an introvert and loves reading books. Being an introvert she never had much friends but still she was happy with her books. It was tough for her to make new friends within first meet. Whenever someone needed her help, she would be glad to help them. She was good with good people and ignored bad people. You can say she was innocent and a kind soul, just like Ayan and Ema.

As Ema and Ayan were looking at Piyu, they heard the bell ring inside the college. It was a big and reputed college named "New Horizon". Their classes were about to start so they rushed inside the college while running from stairs as fast as they can to reach their classroom, which was on second floor on the right side Room 201. As they reached near the classroom, Ayan peeked inside the room and got to know their professor wasn't present inside.

"Let's go inside we are on time." Ayan uttered.

"Yay, let's go before professors come." Ema spoke. She holds Piyu's hand around her wrist and pulled her inside while heading towards last bench to sit. Ayan sat on the last bench while Ema and Piyu on second last. After a few minutes, Prof. Roy enters.

"Good Morning sir." everyone greeted him.

"Good morning, everyone. Have your seat and let's start our chapter." Prof. Roy responded.

Everyone took their book and started studying. The lecture was so boring that most of the students started yawning one after another. 

"Hey let's talk for a while or else I would definitely pass out." Ema suggested yawning as she covered her mouth with one of her hand.

"I think we should. This lecture is getting too much boring." Piyu replied Ema.

"What you think, Ayan?" Ema asked.

"Yes, we definitely should. I don't know if you have heard it or not but there is a rumour about our college." Ayan replied with an interested face.

"What rumour Ayan?" Piyu enquired.

"I thought you might have known, it's about a cursed book." Ayan answered to Piyu's question.

"What? A cursed book?" Ema yelled, which lead in getting everyone's attention towards them.

"What's going on there?" Prof. Roy asked while looking at us.

"Nnnthing sir, we were just solving doubts together." Ema answered.

"Ohh, I know which doubt you were solving. Get out you three from my classroom, NOW." Prof. Roy shouted at us.

We didn't have any other option than leaving, so we left the classroom and were standing outside the class. 

"Ugh, this professor is so rude." Ema whispered.

"Don't worry Ema now we can chat here and no one will shout at us." Ayan replied with a grin.

"Yes, you are right, but what were you saying about the cursed book?" Ema questioned with a confused face.

"Uhmm, it's nothing Ema just a rumour I heard regarding our college by our seniors. They were speaking about the cursed book which is there in the library." Ayan answered to Ema. 

"Ohh, okay, by the way you know I love to hear such mystery or horror stories. It just excited and scares me at the same time. Hey why don't we share some horror stories which we have heard?" Ema proposed an idea.

"Yes, you are right, Ema, we definitely should. What you think Ayan? I mean, are you okay with it or are you scared?" Piyu asked Ayan in a teasing way.

"No, I'm not scared and ya, it's a good idea. So who is the lucky one to start?" Ayan asked with excitement.

"I think you should only start. Look at you, you are so excited." Piyu replied back. "Yes, Ayan, go ahead and start sharing your story." Ema Added to Piyu.

"Okay, but to make it more interesting, let's go to Room 203. The room is empty and has a dim light as well, so if you guys are not scared, follow me to the room." saying this, Ayan started walking towards the room while Ema and Piyu followed him.

"Okay, so as we are the room let's start." Ayan said.

"You know Ema before coming to the city I used to stay in a small village where there were only few houses which had a lot of distance in between them. So as I was walking back to home from my football practice I....." before Ayan could continue, Ema shrieked as she jumped from the sit, "What you know playing football? I also wanted to learn can you please teach me?"

"Ema please let him continue the story first, it's getting interesting don't disturb him. We will talk about football training later." Piyu exclaimed in a serious tone.

"Okay, sorry, I know how much you love horror stories as well. I'll talk about football later." Ema apologized with a puppy face.

"It's okay, Ema. So where I was? Uhmm, yes, I remembered I was heading back home from my football practice when I heard some weird sound. Can't specifically describe it, but it was really creepy. Still, I thought of ignoring it and I went ahead. As I started walking again on the footpath, all the dogs near my area started barking loud. They kept on barking, so I decided to put my headphones on. I played an old retro song which my mom had downloaded as I didn't have network in my mobile phone. After a while of walking and ignoring the dog's bark, I bumped into something. To look I stopped and when I looked down it was......" all of a sudden Ayan stopped.

"Ayan, what happened? Are you okay? Why are you sweating so much?" Ema and Piyu started asking with a scared face.
