Introduction

"Holy s-"

Bang!

Well, I guess that's one way to start a story. Meet Bobby Joan — He's a criminal who's on the run, who currently has some police on his tail. That's besides the point, though. Sitting next to him is the fun-loving and crazy, Andy Star. He's his partner in crime, not a hostage, so don't worry.

"Andy, get the gun! They're right on our tail!" Bobby instructs Andy. He grabs hold of the pistol from under his seat, and begins firing bullets right at the police car that's catching up behind them.

"Got a tire!" He shouts, in his extremely audible country accent. Bobby has one too. They were both born and raised in South Carolina, with some tough mothers and mean fathers. They might have not taught them to be criminals who rob and occasionally blow up gas stations, but they did teach them to be tough, and I guess they turned out that way to an extent.

"Nice, that should lose 'em," he replies. The car that was once speeding down the road begins to slow down.

"How's that cut doing?" Andy asks Bobby. A couple of days ago, he got one robbing an old gas station. It was definitely worth it though, he got 150 dollars from the cash register, and ten from the cashier's wallet. I guess they don't get paid good, but enough for them to buy a knife that could cut through skin and leave a gnarly scar. That's about the definition of tough for Bobby — if you have a scar that makes you look tough, then you are tough. Andy didn't agree with this, however.

"Doin' just fine. It'll look real nice once the bandage is gone," he answers.

"You know, scars don't make a man tough. That logic makes no sense at all. You could be the skinniest man on earth, and having a scar wouldn't make you look tough," he explains to Bobby, who was now scowling at the mention of scars not making you tough.

"Maybe, but still, it would make me look tough. I'm not sure about that skinny boy, though." Andy rests his head on the top of his seat, sighing in defeat.

"I'm done having this conversation with you," he mumbles, before closing his eyes to take a nap.

Bobby takes notice of this, and says, "sweet dreams, bastard."

Andy moves his hand to hit Bobby, but completely misses. "You're too cute," Bobby chuckles.

"Just wake me up when we get there," Andy groans.

"Whatever you say, sleeping beauty."

You might be wondering where the amazing duo is going. Well, they're going to visit Bobby's mom, who still lives in the house that Bobby grew up in. He spent his days as a little boy chasing cows and helping his mother with her garden, the family's way of surviving. Luckily he was an only child, so there weren't many issues in providing for the small family.

After a few more gas station robberies, the two lifelong friends should make it to South Carolina.

That is, as long as there aren't any issues, and when you're an infamous criminal, you tend to have a lot of those.
